I enjoyed learning React and being able to integrate different components. It opened to new possibilities by adding other features to the project, such as animated icons. While at times it seemed complex keeping track of how each piece fit, it really made sense and felt overall organized in the end. I also found it empowering being able to not only use professional tools, but being able to troubleshoot issues I came across during this project through independent searches and trial and error.
I really enjoyed SheCodes Plus workshop as you learn more advanced JavaScript and working on weather app was very challenging.
I absolutely loved this course! It was amazing to learn advanced CSS techniques, especially implementing dark/light themes. The functionality is super cool and practical. A big thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team for such an insightful and engaging experience!

Is was an interesting and challenging workshop. Some parts of the projects were difficult and took time to test and realize what was an error. I can't believe how much I've learned in just the first portion of this coding program! From writing my first HTML tags to styling elements with CSS and making things interactive with JavaScript, each day brought exciting new discoveries. Sure, there were moments of frustration as in forgetting that whenever you open a tag it must also be closed. However, the thrill of seeing my code come to life on screen made it all worthwhile. I've gone from being intimidated by brackets and semicolons to confidently building simple landing page. While I know I'm just scratching the surface, this first week has sparked a genuine passion for coding that I never expected. I'm amazed at how the puzzle pieces of web development are starting to fit together!
The SheCodes Plus challenge and course have been an incredible experience! Learning about open-source code on GitHub, hosting a website, and integrating the SheCodes Weather API and Weather Forecast API in JavaScript was both challenging and rewarding. Although there was not much new information in this workshop that we hadn't learned in the first React workshop, it was really useful to consolidate my learning and practise my new-found skills. The Responsive workshop was really fun. It was great to implement almost everything I've learned so far and I'm really happy with the result. The videos were really easy to follow and Matt is an inspiring teacher. 10/10 would recommend!

I enjoyed this workshop, because I am in the process of discovering my likes and dislikes about the programming field. I also appreciated very much the flexibility about deadlines extensions, being my first time learning about coding , extensions really helped me to fit my learning into my schedule and life situations ( I was even sick in the middle, and SheCodes was very flexible to help me stay on track and achieve my goals by allowing extra extensions). Everything on the site works very well, I particularly took notice of all the extra resources offered with each lesson, they really supported my learning and encouraged me to look further and get a better understanding of the different topics. This workshop also opened a door for the universe of colours, one of the lessons about styling gave us a good foundation about colours, this knowledge is very useful not only for coding but also for photoshopping, which I've always been interested in learning as a hobby.
