I absolutely loved SheCodes! Having never studied coding before, this was my first introduction to the world of tech and it couldn't have been explained any better. I had great fun building my project and learning a new skill. Matt is a fantastic teacher and I would strongly recommend this course.

Before starting this course, I’ll admit I was a little intimidated by Python. It’s known as a powerhouse in the coding world, and I imagined it being much more complex than it turned out to be. But Matt and the SheCodes team did an amazing job breaking it down into manageable, clear lessons. By the end, I felt so much more confident. Turns out I had overhyped it in my head! After spending weeks on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, learning Python was a refreshing shift. Revisiting APIs during the course was also a great way to reinforce concepts from my earlier workshops. I knew about SheCodes via my friend. She shared about SheCodes and how great it was. I tried it just because I want to walk on a different career path. The videos are easy to learn, and the assignments and projects are also efficient in improving coding skills. I have to admit that SheCodes lessons are beginner-friendly too. I just completed the SheCodes Plus Add-on Project, and I’m proud to present my own Luxury Travel Planner App — an interactive Python-based tool that uses live weather and AI-generated travel itineraries. This project was a great opportunity to level up my Python skills and learn how to work with APIs, user input validation, and advanced console UI design using libraries like rich. Integrating the SheCodes AI and Weather APIs brought everything together into one smooth user experience — complete with a personalized day-by-day itinerary and real-time weather data. This hands-on project truly boosted my confidence and showed me how powerful Python can be for real-world applications.

I feel so blessed to have been given this opportunity to learn what I have always dreamt of. And Matt is such a good teacher, he makes you understand every step of code and may he be blessed for sharing with us his knowledge of coding🤗

Being apart of the coding programm , has been a very interesting. I have learn't that, our brains have such a large capacity to learn. It's definately, not like watching a hacking movie, but mostly like building a house, and all materials, strength and love that goes into it. What I also learnt is that, you know that confusing part of the code where you don't know the syntax, it's probably in the resources; so use it! The SheCodes basics add on workshop was a bit easier than the basics workshop, because one has gotten the flow of things so it's easier to learn because I am more familiar with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This workshop overall was definitely a valuable workshop, important lessons were taught it was great.

This was a great challenge. Initially, it was hard for me grasping Python, AI, and API concepts in one, but the workshop guided me step by step. I'm now confident that I'm exceptionally good at APIs and can use them in any scenario as long as I stick to the core principals I learned throughout this workshop.

SheCodes plus was quite challenging but I have gained more skills especially in vanilla javascript which has helped me build a fully functional weather app. I also really enjoyed learning about Github, API integration and hosting my projects on Netlify.

The SheCodes React Add-on course was a game-changer in my coding journey! It took my understanding of React to the next level with practical, hands-on learning. One of the highlights of the course was building a Dictionary App—a fully functional project that allowed me to apply everything I had learned about components, props, APIs, and responsive design. Creating the Dictionary App boosted my confidence in working with real-time data and managing React components effectively. It was so satisfying to see the app come to life and realize just how much I’d grown as a developer. The lessons were clear, the challenges were engaging, and the support from the SheCodes community made the experience even more enjoyable. As usual, I am learning so much on my own time. Years ago, there was an unhealthy stereotype that girls could not code. I want to thank Matt and his entire team for destroying such stereotype.

Learning Python was a surprisingly fun experience. I didn't have a lot to say at first, but one thing that stood out is that indentation was a real struggle! It tripped me up more times than I would like to admit. Still, I pushed through, and I am proud of how far I have come.

Learning how to implement Bootstrap features without actually using Bootstrap was exciting. It helped me understand CSS Grid and other CSS techniques even better. Managing theme changes and working with JavaScript made the experience even more rewarding.

Easy and engaging! Learning at your own pace with weekly challenges is what works best for me

I feel so empowered to transition into the world of tech after this three week course! Inspecting random websites to see how they were coded and being able to understand most of the coding is an unmatched feeling. I can't wait to learn more in advanced courses :)

The SheCodes Responsive was such a great experience, I learnt how to make websites look good on all screen sizes, and I really improved my HTML, CSS, and media query skills. It was challenging at time, but super rewarding.
