Fantastic course - a really great way to build upon the basic knowledge and get into more in-depth learnings on HTML, CSS and JS. I would highly recommend SheCodes to my friends!

It was unbelievable. I had started learning JavaScript many times, but each time I quickly became frustrated with its complexity and always thought I could not work with it without help. But during this workshop, Matt patiently simplified the complex concepts of JavaScript to help me overcome my fear of facing it and learn the concepts he had taught us, without anyone else's help.

SheCodes feeds my need to learn something new as I progress through each week. The courses are set up so that I can schedule around a cross-country move and around an entirely new work schedule. The self-paced aspect is one of my favorite things about SheCodes.

This coding course was both challenging and so much fun. I learned so much, and while I don't feel entirely confident and ready to code on my own, I learned some very solid basics and got a taste of more advanced coding, so I know what to look for if I run into trouble on my own. I'm excited to keep going with the SheCodes React course! 🚀

SheCodes has been such a great experience, I can't believe it's over already. 😱 I can't wait to apply all the knowledge I've gained in the last six months and I certainly want to learn more about React 🤓

Code learning is interesting and challenging, and I feel that I have grown, that code turns out to be not as hard as I thought, and that girls can learn to code well.

Learning how to build apps with React definitely has not been the easiest to grasp in the beginning, but once you get the hang of how things work, it is very rewarding. Also, Matt's style of teaching and breakdown of concepts absolutely helped me make sense of this framework. Thank you SheCodes, for all the work that you're doing to empower more women in the field of Tech! 🙇🏻‍♀️

I feel like such an old fart lately, its been a great time learning about coding. I am better able to troubleshoot and communicate with IT support at my job, it makes things much easier.

This was so fun and so helpful! I work in digital marketing and with developers everyday, but taking this gave me so much more depth of knowledge to do my job! Can't wait to continue to learn!

Learning the essentials in this boot camp has already helped me understand web design to a much better degree. Even after this first workshop, I am already communicating better with my team of developers and am understanding how to design better for web.

Thanks to SheCodes I'm able to learn how to code while still working full time! Few secondary education options are accessible to me because I have to work full time to support myself, but SheCodes allows me to learn a new skill to make more money one day while still having time for my life in the meantime!

I can see how this course would be great for absolute beginners. As someone who has learned these concepts before, it was a good refresher. I'm looking forward to learning more in the advanced classes.

I have never enjoyed learning to code until this course. Matt has organized this in such a way that makes it exciting to learn, which relieves the pressure that I've experienced before in other courses. Amazing, Amazing, Amazing Course! I doubted myself at first but instructor Matt is truly gifted in breaking everything down into morsels. I digested every lesson and enjoyed the challenges. Plus we get to listen to cool music while doing challenges now with She Radio and it creates a smooth flow of thoughts. I can't wait to learn more. I love coding.

SheCodes Basics is a really good course to enter the code world! 😊 It was essential to consolidate some knowledge and learn more about coding. It's very well organised, the videos are simple, but straight to the point, and you can take your time doing all the challenges. This was such an amazing experience! 😊 The course is well structured and organized which makes it really to learn and be motivated throughout, even while working a full-time job. One of its strongest points is that, even while doing the course, I felt the positive effects in my daily job as an Ecommerce and Marketing Manager. I really enjoy this style of learning and was able to grasp what was put in front of me at my own pace. I do wish to keep learning and go over what I was taught to fully grasp these skills. Overall, I think SheCodes has been a really nice program to learn from.

It was really fun to start learning coding during my free time. SheCodes makes coding easy to follow and motivates you to continue learning! This course really made me enjoy learning the basics of coding. The instructor was very friendly, and I didn't feel pressured at all to turn in homework with easy deadlines. I now feel like I've a solid understanding of the basics and am ready to move onto the next step to make this my career!

This was a very interesting and fun learning experience for a total novice in the field of coding. The lessons were easy to follow. When I was stuck on some of the challenges and weekly assignments, the feedback from the team on slack was prompt and helpful. This was overall a good experience. Great course! Very easy to follow and well explained. I like how the material is divided into short videos and you can learn step by step and motivate yourself by finishing each small challenge which leads to a bigger final project.

SheCodes is amazing!! Matt Delac teaches so well and the videos are not long so they are easy to comprehend, I am thankful for this experience and I am confident about the skills I have learned.

It was a great experience to learn coding in the Basics Workshop! The content of the videos was very well explained, so that one could implement the newly learned step by step. It was fun to try out new things in the challenges, to put what we learned into practice and to be creative. To see that you can code simple websites with different functions after a short time and how you develop is very motivating! :) I will definitely continue!

SheCodes basics truly took me from knowing mostly nothing to knowing SOMETHING. The basics of html, css, and javascript were expertly explained and demonstrated by Matt, who has helped to create such a unique, fun, and challenging experience and resource for those actively wanting (or needing) to learn how to code!

SheCodes has given me the tools to expand my coding knowledge! I just finished the Responsive Workshop and I couldn't be happier. I believe it's an important step to take, given that most websites are being used on mobile phones primarly. I am eager to apply everything I've learned to real-life projects.

It was been a bit stressful but at the same time a great learning experience. It is always pleasant to learn something new and to see a newly finished project.

SheCodes react workshop was more challenging than other SheCodes workshops. But with Matt's instructions and the great support on Slack it was enjoyable. Learning to code with react was definitely challenging but also extremely rewarding. Thank you SheCodes for your great workshops!

I started all these skills from zero. At the beginning I did not expect that the course can help me to go forward this fast and I really didn't imagine that I can improve this much only by 3 weeks! I have loved getting to learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript more in depth during the SheCodes Plus course. While this course was more challenging, I never felt too overwhelmed and always got quick responses on Slack when I was stuck. I look forward to moving on to the SheCodes React course next!

I totally recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to start learning to code from scratch. It's really easy to follow, fun, and motivating. I have done several attempts at coding courses, and this one was the only one that kept me going until the end. I will be back for more workshops for sure!

SheCodes is a practical and project-based way to learn in your own time and for your development - highly recommend it.

I was initially intimidated by the prospect of diving into coding since I lack the background, but am surprised by how fun it is and how much I've learned already!

I had an absolute blast with the SheCodes Responsive course. The first thing that happened was my mind was completely blown when I learned about Boostrap css utility classes AND how easy it is to modify code for web responsive experiences. I heavily rely on these two things when I am building webpages now! I am a UX designer learning coding and use Figma daily. I am usually tasked with designing wireframes and desktop and mobile screens. It is really cool that now I know how developers take my design and code them. I loved that portion of the course when Matt showed us a Figma file and how the developer pokes through it - which also reinforces the importance of a clean design file! I found myself using the skills I am learning in the SheCodes workshops at work, and I have started working with our developers on my designs and found it easier to explain my stuff to them. I also find myself coding on evenings and weekends for fun, too! For any UX designers, I would say Responsive is THE course to take so you get a better idea of what happens to your designs when they are getting built, what developers looks for, and how it can make working with them fun and rewarding to make impactful features and products. Especially when it comes to responsive experiences! Thanks again SheCodes crew and Matt! I'll be seeing you next week in SheCodes React!

It was a great learning experience. I learned a lot, it was a bit frustrating at times but the teachers helped clarify things. I'm very happy with what I was able to learn and do in a short time.

After the introductory course, I wanted to keep going. This course was a bit more challenging, but it was very gratifying to complete the project. I'm happy with all that I learned! On to SheCodes Responsive!

Wow! I think I've just attended the most user friendly, clearly explained, concise workshop ever. I received some precious basic info alongside tips while having fun and in a very rewarding manner, with achievements and help given along the way. The only regret I have is preparing for med school in highschool instead of learning the basics in html, css & JavaScript. I really think that given the direction our world heads towards with lightspeed, one should really know these. Many, many thanks, Matt & SheCodes team!

Delac Foundation is indeed a place to be if you really want to develop or grow your career in the IT Industry. I started learning coding from the scratch and I can tell you that my 3weeks learning SheCodes Basics was really worth it, I enjoyed every bit of the training. In time past, I used to see coded languages as strange but now I've become familiar with them. I can now play around HTML, CSS and JAVASCRIPT with ease. The instructional videos with detailed explanations, challenges and homework made my learning easier and less stressful. The Slack platform gave me the opportunity to interact with my wonderful classmates from all over world regardless of our Race, Color, Nationality or Ethnicity. Indeed, my instructor Matt Delac is doing a great job, kudos to him!

I have enjoyed SheCodesPlus as I have managed to complete more than I thought I would. I have learnt more about how Javascript works. I found working with the APIs hard but now I think I have finally got my head around it. I am looking forward to the next SheCodes workshop and getting my skills honed.

SheCodes made learning to code easy and fun

It has been a journey with my program in SheCodes. I was working as a Medical Assistant before I started my coding journey. I wanted more freedom of my time. I decided to get a job as Home Care Aid because I can more time with my son and our small business. I decided that start my coding journey while working as HCA. I am excited that I can use what I learn to advance my career in coding and to help out our small businesses' websites.

SheCodes Basics has helped me redefine what I am capable of. Now, I don't feel untalented or unskilled anymore. Every time I am designing, I can picture the page and tell what it's going to look like and even correct my errors in advance. It took more than 5 hours per week to get here but I am happy for all that I have learned so far. I am in awe of my own consistency 💙.

Learned a whole lot. I can now make interactive websites for PCs and other devices.

I really learned a lot more in-depth skills, particularly JS, and was able to apply my design ideas and creative insights into an app! I really love coding and the designing process as well!

This was something quite special. Very different way of coding from what I learned during the other SheCodes workshops. Definitely worth the hard work :)

At first I thought I wouldn't be capable of learning how to code, but throughout the workshop I always felt that Matt was encouraging and I never felt bad if I didn't understand something. I can't believe how much I learned in such a short amount of time!

Learning to code from scratch surprised me because I never imagined it would be so easy. I enjoyed the course and did not realize the time had passed when I was coding. This course gave me a lot of confidence and made me eager to participate in the next courses as well.

This workshop was definitely more challenging, working with React was awkward at first but it presents the code in a simpler and "cleaner" way! I could see that we can learn something new, such as coding (that seems impossible to learn at the first sight) but I know I still have a lot more to learn, it's a whole world that I don't know half of yet! In the end, it was fun and I learned a lot! Thank you SheCodes and Matt!
