I completed the SheCodes Plus course back in 2023 to gain a basic understanding of coding, despite not having a formal background in it. Little did I know, this knowledge would prove invaluable in 2025 when a sudden shortage required me to step up and learn React for my job. SheCodes made the transition seamless. Their clear and effective teaching style helped me grasp React concepts quickly, even with no prior experience. The investment in SheCodes was undoubtedly worth it, enabling me to contribute effectively and confidently in a demanding work environment.

I recently completed the 5-week SheCodes Responsive coding course and had a fantastic experience! I learned how to build responsive websites that adapt beautifully to any device using tools like Bootstrap, Utility CSS classes, responsive grids, and media queries. We also covered how to create navigation menus, optimize images, and add SEO to our code. Using VS Code Live Server made it easy to see changes in real-time, and I now feel confident hosting multi-page websites. One of the highlights was designing in Figma and turning that design into an actual website through code. I especially enjoyed building my first portfolio with four fully responsive pages that showcase all the projects Iβve created with SheCodes. I'm proud of what Iβve accomplished and excited to continue with the next two weeks of the Responsive Add-on course!
The She Codes Basic Add on workshop has been a real game changer. I have learn a lot of things that can be applied when creating a website.
I really enjoyed this course. I learned so much and found it very engaging from the beginning. I found having tasks and homework made it so much more interactive and I felt the information was actually going in. Learning to develop my own website was very interesting . Especially the part where we were taught to change from light theme to dark theme. I really enjoyed the basic Add-on workshop. It was also interesting to see how websites(search engine) get to grid all their images.

This was by far the most challenging course from SheCodes. I personally found React very confusing and intimidating. I also thought that starting to learn React on CodePen and then migrating to VSCode added another layer of complexity that I found unnecessary. It would have been nice to create something other than another weather application, but I did learn a lot along the way. Thanks SheCodes team for another workshop!
