This is a great workshop for a beginner to get to learn and see how easy it is to code!

SheCodes is an amazing academy to learn how to code. I am a single mother and I want to show my daughter that women can be whatever that they want with love, study and sacrifice. SheCodes is changing my life.

Starting learning to code with SheCodes was my best decision! The information is very well structured which makes it easy to learn. During this workshop, I learned a lot and got all the necessary basic knowledge. Few years ago I took courses on JavaScript but it didn't really click. It's when I started SheCodes workshops I was fascinated and eager to learn. I couldn't have imagined I would end up here, excited to learn and have fun coding. I had watched videos and tried coding courses but it did not work out well for me because it was poorly explained and extremely confusing. I have learned so much just from SheCodes basics workshop, that completing that final project felt like a huge accomplishment. The instructor Matt, has done an amazing job putting these lessons together.

I really love this bootcamp! It gives me both aspects of what I need to learn; I get the hands-on training with the projects and I get the procedural training with Matt's lessons. This bootcamp has made me fall in love more with coding because it's so challenging yet satisfying when I finally get something!

Making the decision to start coding with SheCodes has and will forever change my life. Now finishing up SheCodes Plus I am very confident with my coding and work. I cannot wait to see what else I am able to learn and apply to a career in the near future. I went from coding a couple hours a week to now coding at least an hour or more every night. SheCodes has made coding fun and easy to learn

I am very proud of my projects looking so professional already. It is great seeing Matt code in real time; it has allowed me to not be so hard on myself when making mistakes and it gives real life examples of how to fix those mistakes. I find myself working faster and cleaner, becuase the structure of the workshop allows me to practice all the time and repeat what I have learned so I don't forget.

I came across SheCodes on an advertisement and found myself curiously putting my name down for the next 'Intro to Coding' class - it was enough to convince me to join the beginners workshop! These past few weeks I have found myself going through a cycle of questioning my capability to even learn the language of coding to feeling like I can accomplish anything! Matt has created an excellent virtual learning environment and I agree that "coding is fun"!

Loved being part of SheCodes. I learned so much in the past three weeks and had so much fun at the same time. It was exciting to go from week to the next and have a new little project to work on :)

Great second course! Again there was loads of challenges and interactions that made learning easy to follow along! I love that you can watch the videos back and adjust the speed, as well as individual homework pieces that build up to the final project so it isn't so scary to submit the project at the end!

Thank you SheCodes Team for helping me, a total beginner, understand how to code. This workshop was a lot of fun and I learned so many things! I am looking forward to the next course with you guys and I hope to become a front-end developer in the future.

I've always felt like a have a thing for coding but never actually had the courage or time to explore this passion, until I found SheCodes! The lessons are brief, so neatly organized, logically flowing from one concept to the next. Matthieu's explanatory videos are very clear and make it easy to learn this new language. When I decided to start exploring coding a few weeks ago, I didn't expect to be able to create a complete web app from scratch. But, here it is! This course really has exceeded my expectations. Thank you SheCodes team!

A great approach to the basics of front-end engineering for an absolute beginner. Matt does not only show you a function, he shows you why it's important to know it, and possible ways to apply that to your homework/project. I would recommend this course to who prefer learns by hand-on experience and want to learn the foundation of coding.

Great way to learn coding if you have other responsibilities. I am a stay at home mum and I'm so happy I can study in my own time.

This workshop was awesome and I highly recommend it. At first, I knew zilch about coding. The workshop was divided into short lessons which makes it easy to learn. This course was exactly what I needed to learn the basics about coding and still wanting to learn more. The exercises were the perfect closure for each unit and the videos from Matt were a great way to learn all the different content. He explain very clearly and the fact that you can watch his screen as he is coding; it's extremely helpful! Thank you Matt and SheCodes!

This was the best decision I've ever made! I was so overwhelmed with the myriad of coding workshops available, and this was the only one that seemed affordable and easy to grasp. The initial information session was not only informative but it was fun! The 3 week introduction is just what you need to get your feet wet in coding. The time commitment was very feasible and the Matt explained everything throughly and plainly. The best part is that each week you build on your skills and actually retain what you've learned. It was so fun using my brain in a such a different way! Matt and the entire team were extremely helpful and flexible. I highly recommend SheCodes for those who are curious about coding and not sure where to start.

I tried learning js during the quarantine and loved it. I even started making my own site IlearnRussian.net However, I realized that my knowledge needs to be consolidated and sharpened by mentors, so I'm trying to find a school. JS is not an easy language to master for me, and I would love to learn from teachers. (So far I've been learning on my own). During quarantine two years ago, I watched a video, where I heard about html, googled it, didn't understand the explanation, searched it on youtube, watched videos and practiced, was surprised that it's so simple, and gradually got from html / css to js. Since I have a project I'm interested in, I started working on that. I teach foreign languages, focusing on teaching Russian for foreigners. So I started working on a site teaching Russian to foreigners (IlearnRussian.net). The things there are what I did on my own, a project I learned by watching a youtube video, or a code I googled on the internet.

I had so much learning how to code with Matt! He is a great instructor who made coding easy to learn. I can't wait to continue onto the next course!

Easy to follow, the lessons are split in a practical and convenient way. It was a super fun and exciting journey on learning the basics of HTML, CSS, and JS! I'd definitely recommend this course to someone with little or no coding experience who is interested in learning.

I am entirely grateful to SheCodes and Delac Foundation. The Coding journey has been easier with the much help needed made readily available and the tutorials are simply perfect top notch. I have come along way from only creating the "Hello World" website to now my own portfolio website and I even dared to create an e-commerce website mimic. SheCodes has been both a guide and light into my life. Every learning day brings a lot of hope for tomorrow because now am certain my future will be brighter.

I highly recommend SheCodes React! The lesson challenges and projects were great incorporations of hands-on learning. The material is clearly and concisely presented, and Matt's style of teaching is very engaging and demonstrates a multilayered understanding of effective communication, inviting students to thoroughly interact with, connect to, assimilate, and apply the learning material in each lesson and project. The SheCodes team was incredibly helpful, always answering questions quickly and effectively clarifying any points of confusion or uncertainty with the learning material and projects. I truly enjoyed creating my React projects, and starting my journey of learning React with SheCodes was a wonderful experience!

I learned a lot more than I expected to during this course and was able to build something that I am really proud of! The modules were easy to follow and there was always someone on standby if I needed support or another set of eyes to review my code. Thanks Matt and the SheCodes team!

Completing these projects through SheCodes has been the best decision I've made to actually progress with learning code. Having structured lessons, deadlines and resources really makes the whole process a lot easier. I can't wait to learn more :)

It is an awesome course which helped me understand that coding is not scary at all as people think, its actually fun to code as per experience. I have had worked in different job fields like hospitality, banking and retailing and I have always felt that these are not for me and I was not passionate about what I was doing. However, I enrolled myself for Shecodes basic course and the content is very well explained and also the Shecodes community slack is there to help just in case you are stuck. Just in three week course I have learnt the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and created my first landing page which was so satisfying. Now I'm on my journey to become front-end developer and I know that I can do it because I'm passionate about it.

It is a great course and a great start for those who are beginning their coding journey. I learned a lot and grateful for the whole SheCodes team for creating the platform where anybody can learn how to code!

The SheCodes Responsive course reinforced knowledge I had already learnt in previous modules, taught me new techniques and most importantly, made me realise how much stuff I have left to learn. Wow! I am filled with so much joy for completing the SheCodes Plus, I must confess that it was challenging though as a beginner in the coding career in the midst of taking care of my baby girl and the sister of 2 years plus. It can only be God. Seeing myself building a Weather App gave me so much joy even with the help of the SheCodes Team making sure they put us in order where we can't figure some problems. I was looking to up-skill myself and came across SheCodes. The Workshop was interesting and it motivated me to learn the skills in detail that I already knew in bits and pieces, understand the basics and build on top of it, enhance the skill with latest trends. SheCodes gives the flexibility to learn at own pace but with moderation which is very impressive. It is a nice and well organised platform.The courses are designed in an approachable way, the team is very helpful and keeps us on track. Homework are checked and you get your results in email which is encouraging. SheCodes is doing some amazing things for women globally, and it's so exciting that I got to be a part of that! I loved that participating in a course was also helping women in developing countries to be able to do the same!

SheCodes Basic was great. I got interested in coding few months ago and first I tried some online tutorials but got demotivated quickly because there was too much information and not enough examples or exercises. Matt explains everything in an easy, fun and concise way, you get to try everything in the exercises, you learn where to look for when you are stuck, and it even helped me to think outside the box. That's how you get motivated to learn more and code every day :)

I really liked the course. Short and clear videos made learning enjoyable, constant support helped to believe that everything would work out. I had no previous knowledge of coding and this was a great way to get a taste of it and learn the basics!

The SheCodes Responsive course is amazing, I learnt so much about how to make my designs more responsive across different devices. Matt sure knows how to make complex topics easy to grasp. I highly recommend the course.

Just like SheCodes Basics, I loved SheCodes Plus and thought it was a perfect continuation of the learning path. It's amazing how in such a short time SheCodes can get a person who had no coding skills to make such interesting and challenging front-end projects. Let me start off by saying that this experience learning from Shecodes has changed my life forever! I was never that kid who loved the computer growing up; that was my younger sister. I studied music while she went on to become a successful Program Developer. I would always watch her work and felt like it was too hard for me to ever understand; coding was out of my league. When I saw this opportunity come up, I became excited. I started reading all the stories of people who changed their careers after taking the classes and knew I wanted the same opportunity. I started with the basic introductory video, and I was HOOKED!! I found myself talking to anyone who would listen about my Shecodes experience. I called my sister, and she was so excited for me. I was asking questions about coding and we’re bonding even closer because of it. Learning something new, especially at an older age can be frightening. I’m telling you that Shecodes is an experience that every new student should experience. Matt does an incredible job explaining the details so when its time to show your work through homework, you feel confident. Great workshop! It was so much fun, I learned so much and I am now more sure than ever that I really want to dive into the world of coding!

SheCodes Basics is a great course for making an introduction to the world of front-end development. Especially when you don’t really know what the essence of the profession is and what tasks you will have to solve in the process of work. In one learning space, you can learn the basics of not only html and CSS, but also JavaScript too. A cycle of short lessons prevents you from overloading your brain and getting confused when learning a new material. I want to thank the SheCodes team that allowed me to take the SheCodes Basics course.

Programming was something I never saw myself capable of doing. I had mistaken ideas about my suitability for it that were dissolved by Matt's first introductory session, ie the day I became obsessed with wanting to code. The SheCodes Basics Course has motivated me everyday to learn, practice and understand better. About 8 months ago I decided to learn to code because it was something that always interested me. Today I am glad I made that decision. This journey was full of ups, downs, and error messages but every step was awesome! I can't wait to see where coding takes me next.

This workshop is much more involved and difficult than the previous. HOWEVER, it is also so empowering! SO much to learn but the feeling of accomplishment after you grasp a concept is out of this world. You'll get addicted to coding after taking this course!

Came in knowing not a whole lot about coding, but after just the introduction workshop, I have gain a new skill that I will continue to use. I will continue using the skills I learned and will hopefully get to do all the workshops!! So happy I found this when I did!
