This has been such a great learning experience. Each lesson builds on the last, and the projects really helped everything click for me.

I started this workshop with little knowledge about coding but a huge interest and passion to learn. From the first week my confidence has been boosted every time I solve a challenge and complete my homework. I am looking forward to completing the other workshops.

The SheCodes Basics course gave me the confidence to actually start coding, not just learn about it. The bite-sized lessons made HTML, CSS, and JavaScript feel approachable from day one, and being able to have feedback on your homework personalises the experience while undertaking this basics course. I genuinely looked forward to each lesson and therefore highly recommend it to anyone starting their coding journey!

I learned a lot in this workshop and it is very informative. This will help me a lot in understanding software development. But I have to say it was hard and I am glad I already knew how to find help when I am lost with my code. I am looking forward to other lessons and how far I will get though!

I recently completed the SheCodes Plus Workshop, and it was an incredibly engaging and rewarding experience. SheCodes Python Advanced workshop was an incredible journey that took my coding skills to the next level. Before this course, I had a basic understanding of Python but this workshop gave me the confidence to work with real-world data, APIs and visualization tools. I learned how to read and manipulate CSV files, work with complex data structures like lists and dictionaries, filter and analyze data and create meaningful visualizations using Matplotlib. One of the most exciting parts was building the Travel Itinerary Planner where I integrated both AI and Weather APIs to create a fully functional project. I also learned how to write clean, documented and well-organized code following best practices. The lessons were clear, practical, and project-based which made learning enjoyable and effective. The support from the SheCodes community and instructors was amazing throughout the journey. I am incredibly proud of what I have accomplished in just a few weeks. This workshop is a must for anyone who wants to advance their Python skills and build real-world projects!

It was a great improvement on my skills with the Plus workshop. I was able to create my own design and apply the features that we have learned throughout this course. I am excited for more to come!

I cannot be happier to see how much I have accomplished with this last workshop. I have enjoyed every single part of it. I really enjoyed learning Python! Since I had already worked with APIs in JavaScript, it was interesting to see how API requests and data handling work in a different language. In the last week of the course, we built a weather app using the SheCodes Weather API. Bringing together everything covered in the course, from working with functions and dictionaries to making API requests and processing and presenting real-time weather data, gave me a clearer understanding of the language. The project helped me feel more comfortable building real applications with Python.

Building this World Clock app was a great learning experience. I improved my JS skills learned how to work with Moment Timezone and gained confidence in debugging and solving coding challenges. I`m proud of the final result. Can`t wait for more projects.

The basics tutorial is great for getting a surface dive into the world of coding as it is easy to understand and breaks it down well for beginners. This JavaScript tutorial made it a breeze transitioning to C# for a university gen ed class as there were similarities between the two coding languages. I am excited to learn more coding in the future.

A very interactive way of learning. I particularly like the way the videos also include where things may not have gone exactly as they would like, and the problem solving that happens around it. There is always a solution which is something I have enjoyed about learning to code!!

A solid, project-based intro to React — by the end I had a live, deployed weather app pulling real data, which felt worthwhile. I'll be honest that it was harder than expected: much of my time went into debugging and wrestling with setup rather than learning new concepts. It tested my patience, but working through those problems is probably where I learned the most. Worth knowing going in that the struggle with tooling and debugging is part of the process, not a sign you're doing it wrong.

In just 3 weeks, I went from being completely intimidated by code to building my own landing page from scratch. What surprised me the most is how fast it clicked. Every small win made me want to learn more. Now instead of feeling blocked, I feel like I've just opened a door I didn't know existed.

I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basic workshop. 🤗 Before starting, I had almost no coding experience apart from occasionally working with developers and hearing technical terms at work. My goal wasn’t to become a developer, but to better understand how developers think and communicate, improve collaboration, and gain a stronger foundation when discussing features or reporting issues. While I still have a lot to learn, the workshop was a motivating first step that helped me understand the basics and made coding feel much less intimidating. 👍 I’m not a particularly fast learner, and I often went back to rewatch videos or review previous lessons. However, the course was structured in a way that allowed me to keep up and gradually build up knowledge. Kudos to Matt - he's a great teacher who explains concepts clearly and in an easy-to-understand manner. The short video lessons and well-structured weekly modules never felt overwhelming.✨ One of my favorite aspects of the workshop were the mini-assignments after most lessons. They encouraged me to actively actively use what I had just learned instead of only watching videos. While I still need to look up many things, I now have a much better understanding of the fundamentals and feel motivated to continue my SheCodes journey. 🙌

It took me some time to wrap my head around some concepts but the moment they click you realize how powerful this can be when you have a specific use case!
