I have learnt so much from the past 3 weeks, my skills have improved significantly, and my coding confidence has increased. The teaching videos were straight forward so I had no struggles understanding and applying everything I've learnt. As a mathematical statistics graduate this whole course has made a huge impact on me as a huge part of my degree is programming.

The SheCodes workshop has opened my eyes to some things I previously overlooked and has taught me a whole lot of new things. I learned at my own pace, which allowed me to review each lesson multiple times and deepen my understanding.

Before Shecodes, I honestly didn't know where to start with coding. I was curious but also a bit scared , thinking it was too complicated. But from the first lesson, everything was explained in such a simple way and friendly way . It didn't feel like school - it felt like something I was actually excited to learn. Now I can build real projects and understand how websites work. I'm proud of how far I've come , and it's all thanks to Shecodes - Delac foundation!

I started SheCodes Basics less than a month ago with zero experience, and with the SheCodes Basics Add-On, I can confidently build web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The lessons were clear, hands-on, and engaging. I especially loved how everything I learned built up to real projects. It gave me both the skills and the confidence to start creating on my own!

The lessons were clear, empowering and actually fun. I loved learning at my own pace while being challenged to think like a developer and designer. I truly enjoyed exploring more HTML, CSS and JavaScript and building on what I learned in the Basics course. By the end of this short course, I had completed a project I'm genuinely proud of.

I just completed this course, and I’m truly impressed with how practical and empowering it was. Not only did I gain a solid understanding of JavaScript and API integration, but I also applied what I learned to build a working weather app and successfully hosted it on Netlify! The step-by-step guidance, hands-on projects, and clear explanations made the learning process enjoyable and effective. I especially appreciated how the course emphasized real-world application. Thank you Matt and Delac foundation for such a valuable learning experience, I feel more confident in my web development skills now!

This was an intense course and definitely a step up from the previous one. It was fun to learn new coding skills.

Taking the SheCodes course truly pushed me out of my comfort zone and tested my brain in ways I didn’t expect. There were moments when things just didn’t click, and I thought, “What in the world is happening?” But Matt made it easy to follow, breaking everything down so that even when I felt stuck, I could keep going. I’m so proud of what I’ve learned, and building my own weather app was the cherry on top! It’s been an amazing journey of growth, and I can’t wait to dive into more projects!

SheCodes Basics was the perfect follow-up to my first coding program. It helped me solidify my front-end skills while introducing me to new concepts in a fun, practical way. This was a long section but definitely worth it and I learned a lot of skills and was able to build a functioning weather app which is so fun

Taking the SheCodes Python Basics course was a great experience! My favorite part was learning how to work with APIs, explore external packages, and build functions, especially when I got to create the backend of my very own weather app. The course made Python feel approachable and fun, and I walked away with skills I can actually use. This was definitely my favorite project so far. I loved combining all the various techniques and skills, along with my interest in travel. I've learned so much from the lessons!

I absolutely loved doing the SheCodes course! I’ll admit, juggling the deadlines with everyday life was a bit of a challenge, but it was totally worth it. I’ve done IT in school and a few short courses, but never finished my degree — this course, however, was the perfect mix of fun, informative, and easy to follow. The SheCodes website is super user-friendly, and Matt has a great way of keeping your attention and making each lesson enjoyable to learn.

Really great intro to coding - now I want to learn more!

SheCodes Basics has helped me become competent with the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This has put me in a good position before starting a new career, and I now feel prepared for further learning.

The SheCodes basics add-on project helped me learn how to apply CSS grids and transformations. I faced challenges, particularly on the Css grid and changing the theme to they way i liked, but i definitely overcome these challanges.Overall, I'm proud of my achievement and would recommend this project to others looking into deepening their understanding of HTML,CSS and Javascript.

As I progress through the SheCodes Workshops, I’ve come to realize just how much I enjoy coding. I think it was pretty easy to follow, although I would've liked more thorough explanations on how and why things are like they, but I understand this is a basics bootcamp so it might be just that. I also liked the simplicity of the projects that encompassed everything we learned.

Challenging but overall learning a ton.

Learning React was a rollercoaster but a valuable one. I managed to confuse myself multiple times but referring back to Matt's videos always helped. Real sense of achievement here and I think with more practice, React could be a game changer!

It was very interesting and exciting to learn new features with CSS. It's challenging but in a good way. I enjoyed every moment of it!

It was a bit challenging but i pushed through and learned a lot

She Code gave me more than just technical skills it gave me confidence, community, and clarity. As a woman in tech, I often felt like I had to work twice as hard to be seen, but through She Code's mentorship and hands-on learning approach, I found my voice and my place. It empowered me to believe that coding isn’t just for a select few it’s for all of us, especially women. I now dream bigger and build bolder, knowing I’m supported by a network of amazing women in STEM. Thank you, She Code, for showing me that I belong in tech.

The first three weeks were amazing — I learned a lot and was genuinely looking forward to the basic add-on week. Every day, I engaged fully with the classes, and a question that had been lingering in the back of my mind was finally answered: "Is this all we can do with CSS?" Now I understand that those initial weeks were just to build a strong foundation. With that groundwork in place, we’re now diving into more advanced and exciting possibilities — and it’s truly thrilling. I find myself wanting to learn even more!

Wow, this was the most fun I’ve had learning in a long time. I come from an HR background, where we tend to live in the black and white. But coding? I’m loving it, because gray is more than okay. There are so many ways to solve a problem and it gives creative minds the freedom to think outside the box. Little me, who used to code her MySpace page, would be extremely proud that we came back to this passion.

This course created a fire in me to learn code in all shapes and forms - I dream about code and I love each lessons moment! I have learned so much in a short space of time, I would absolutely recommend this course and would love to do longer and more in-depth courses soon!

Learning a lot

I really enjoyed this add on, I was able to learn some things I tried to attempt earlier on and get more creative with my layouts. Im looking forward to starting SheCodes Plus next :).

I have really been enjoying SheCodes so far. I've learnt a lot in a short period of time. The workshops are self-paced, so you can adjust your schedule to them. You have small challenges within almost every lesson, which give you good practice ahead of the final project, and allow you to have momentum, so that you remember what you've been working on. I signed up for the Bootcamp, so I'm very excited about what's still ahead and to keep expanding my knowledge in the software development world.

Learning React was one of the most challenging parts of my coding journey so far — and also one of the most rewarding. At first, the logic behind components, state, and props felt overwhelming. I questioned whether I’d be able to understand it all. But step by step, it started making sense. I kept pushing, practicing, and slowly, things clicked. Seeing my app come to life with real-time data and interactive features gave me a huge sense of achievement. If you’re afraid to start learning React, I completely understand — I was too. But don’t let fear stop you. You don’t need to “get it all” from day one. Just start. Keep going. Trust the process. React will stretch your mind, but it will also empower you to build truly dynamic and professional web applications. And believe me — you’ll be so proud when it all works. 💪

Building this World Clock app helped me improve my JavaScript skills tremendously. I learned how to update content dynamically with setInterval and handle user input in real time. This was such a great introduction to working with external libraries, integrating live data, and deploying a responsive project!

Amazing! i got to learn so much from this workshop!

Shecodes showed me that coding isn't just for experts . It's for curious girls like me too . I'm 18 , and now I have built my first project and feel confident to keep learning. It's a great place to start , even if you know nothing.

Although, I think practice, practice, practice is going to get me to the place I want to be in, this course is super beneficial. Everything I am learning is delivered in small increments making it very digestible and easy to follow. I also appreciate how the final project was laid out step by step. I wasn't completely overwhelmed.

This Python AI Workshop was a fantastic learning experience. It helped me understand how to write clear, optimized prompts for more accurate and relevant AI API responses. The highlight was building a Python-based travel itinerary generator that used AI to suggest real-world activities, estimate costs and travel times, and include local weather using an API. I also learned how to handle JSON responses, format content with Markdown, and integrate multiple APIs into one smooth project. I’d definitely recommend this workshop to anyone wanting to combine Python with real-world AI applications.
