I was first taught coding by my mother who had a Masters Degree in Computer Science over 30 years ago. That was when coding was young and all we could learn was DOS because none of these newer coding languages existed. This was my first time formally learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I can hardly believe that I was able to create real web pages so quickly. I have recently begun building No Code Apps and I am excited to enhance my projects by incorporating what I have learned through the SheCodes Basics Workshop. I could not be more excited about the opportunities that I foresee because I have begun to develop this new skillset. I am grateful.🙏🏾

SheCodes has been phenomenal in helping me understand the basics of code. Initially, I had no idea where to start, but Matt does a great job in guiding his students through easy-to-follow, bite-size videos that are very informative and help with creating one's own code. I love SheCodes! I can't lie, I was a little skeptical, there are a MILLION coding bootcamps... however- I went from zero knowledge to building an interactive webpage, being able to inspect other pages proficiently, and the intimidation this field used to give me has been replaced by an eagerness to learn more!

I would recommend this course for people who wants to learn at their own pace. There is a lot of people to help in case you are confuse with assignment.

I really wanted to learn to code but with me having bad ADHD i was really worried i wouldn't be able focus on the lessons or challenges. Matt makes the lessons super interesting with cool pictures and colors also the way he explains things is just the best thing ever! It makes everything so much easier. Also the way the whole thing is set out has been amazing! and i have managed to complete 3 weeks with hardly any struggle even with the ADHD. This workshop is one of the best things i have ever done. Thankyou Matt and Shecodes!!!!

SheCodes Plus was such a growing experience! Through Matt's instruction and challenges and the invaluable help from the team on Slack, I feel like we can now do wonderful things with Vanilla Javascript. (And thanks to Matt, we now know what Vanilla JS is!) Can't wait to move on and learn more with SheCodes!

The SheCodes+ course has been absolutely amazing! The overall classes and structure are extremely well done. This community and workshop has truly furthered my love for coding and I cannot wait to continue learning with SheCodes!

I highly recommend this workshop for everyone who wants to be a front-end developer. Here you can find a lot of useful information and learn how to code responsive and SEO optimized websites. Another interesting coding workshop for anyone who wishes to specialise in front-end. I particularly enjoyed learning how to make pages look better on different devices and learning a bit of theory on SEO.

If you do not know anything about code, but you are very excited to start creating interesting projects with your computer, then SheCodes Basics is great possibility to learn how to code and challenge yourself😊 The lessons are clear and easy to follow, also there is a tasks for self-learning. I've enjoyed it so much and would highly recommend it to everyone!

The last and final SheCodes Workshop proved to be the toughest yet in terms of learning as some of the concepts were tricky to grasp at first, like the map element. But, as with most things, the more you practice and implement them, the easier they are to understand. I really enjoyed my time learning React with Matt. I feel a sense of accomplishment and pride in what I have achieved with Matt's guidance and expertise. He is a gem. I wish there were more SheCodes workshops so I could continue my coding journey.

I had a lovely time coding with SheCodes. If you want to learn to code, even if you don't know anything, make sure to give it go! It's really unbelievable what I was able to create with limited knowledge. I highly recommend SheCodes, you will be making things you are proud of in no time.

I loved attending the course with Matt. He explained very well how to use HTML, CSS and JS languages. I had already had programming in college for over 12 years and it was excellent to review and especially learn JS better.

Thanks to Matt Delac and the SheCodes Team! I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basic workshop. This course is great for beginner coders, but also helps refreshing your memory in case your last encounter with html, CSS & Javascript has been a while back. I especially liked that you can take the course at your own pace, but are still motivated to push forward due to the homework deadlines. If you encounter any problems or have questions you have a great community of other coders welcome you to the class and help you with any problems. Also, the SheCodes Team itself is there to answer questions if one is in need. The review of the homework is done rather quick, so you receive your feedback quite fast. Most of the tasks I found relatively easy to handle due to the good explanations in the workshop videos. And with some more challenging tasks in between you really had to learn how to research answers by yourself which in my opinion prepares you well for the future as lots of times, you'll have to research how certain things are done. I am very motivated to continue deepening my skills and feel that I have a good foundation to build further knowledge upon.

I really enjoyed going through the challenges coding with React poses. I had to constantly debug, inspecting and reinspecting to find what was not working. It really is a logical and detail-oriented task, and you need to be very focused on it. I feel like I now have the skills to build applications like this on my own, and I will keep practicing and learning more so I can become a better coder everyday!

This course is very practical and exciting. I really like the format. Interactive aproach makes it look like a game. Little lectures and solutions have been explained clearly and easy for understanding even by total beginner. Challenges after each topic allow you to practice what you've just learned. I will recommend this course to women who would like to check is IT sphere is interesting for them or not. Thank you SheCodes for such an amazing oportunity to learn something new.

I discovered the fun in learning how to code thank to shecodes! I still have lots and lots to learn but I know shecodes will help all the way with their easy to understand lessons and helpful community.

I never thought I would be able to learn the amount of information provided in such a short amount of time! The design of taking things step by step while still leaving room for challenges was such a great way to progress and comprehend through this course.

I love learning at SheCodes! I have recommended more than one student to study here. I used to start teaching JS many times, but I had a hard time understanding the process. Studying here is the best thing you can do when you are starting your education in coding.

I had a blast learning! I didn't believe it was going to be this easy to learn and I've learned so much, I cannot wait to continue on my journey with SheCodes.

Let me start with a little background. I graduated high school in 2011, took 1 recordkeeping and 1 accounting class, and have not touched a computer other than to surf the web since. I currently am self-employed, and run a home cleaning business. Before I started cleaning, I was a stay at home mom for 5 years. I have known that this was not the path I wanted for my life, but I was worried to try something new. A good friend of mine recommended SheCodes to me because I showed some interest in technology. I was nervous because I came into this not knowing ANYTHING about coding. Once I started on my lessons, I really got the hang of it fairly quickly, and it turns out I thoroughly enjoy it! I am so happy to have found SheCodes and everything I have learned so far.

I learned a lot in a short period of time. Thank you so much for the fun yet challenging experience. I can definitely see myself taking another SheCodes Workshop in the future.

It was a bit challenging at first but i knew i have to learn to code, took some time off and here i am today.

SheCodes is a fun experience for me explore my future career and I have so much fun with it. I feel successful and obsessed when i finished my final project. It is bootcamp that allows to learn skills flexibly but meanwhile with a lot of support, it's definitely worthy.

I wanted to learn something new that wasn't in the medical field and this popped up. I used to be tech savvy, but ever since I entered the medical field I stopped updating myself on technology and I wanted to get back to that and taking this course has taught me some new things. I highly recommend learning the basics of front-end development with SheCodes. Lessons are well-planned, and instructions are clear and comprehensive. The main advantage of the course that I see is that it challenges the student to find their own solution to a certain problem, and forces to search and google by leaving some elements unexplained on purpose. That is extremely important because that's how it will be once the coding is your job: there always will be problems that you have to find solutions to.

I had enrolled in courses to learn Javascript in the past but found it very confusing. I have learned so much through Shecodes plus.

It was a great workshop, I was able to learn loads of new info. Well I am a newbie, so every piece of info is a new one for me. There were interesting challenges to solve and I was really glad that I had sometimes to do some searches on my own and find missing elements to complete the full puzzle.

I highly appreciate SheCodes' possibility for Ukrainians to learn how to code. I admire the way the process is organized by small steps and practicing. Matt is so amazing at explaining complex things and has brilliant English which is an advantage, especially for non-native speakers who listen to his lessons.

I never thought I could learn how to code. I had always assumed that it was "too difficult" for me. This workshop was not only fun, but super informative! I love that it is self paced, but it still gives you flexible deadlines which really motivated me to complete things in a timely manner. I like that you can complete your assignments/challenges and watch the videos when ever you like, as long as your homework is turned in on time. Overall, I felt that this was a great workshop for beginners (like myself) and I really feel like I have learned so much! I am so excited to continue learning through SheCodes! I would 100% recommend this workshop to anyone who is interested in coding.

This coding introductory course was an amazing learning experience that has opened my eyes to the fun and challenging world of coding.

I would highly recommend SheCodes! Matt makes it really easy to understand while also pushing you to self learn and figure out how to fix your own bugs. As a UX designer I took this workshop to be able to add more skills to my resume and SheCodes gave me just that along with a great project to add to my portfolio.

I highly recommend taking the SheCodes Basic workshop. It was very helpful and taught me the basics of coding.
