I am very glad that I had the opportunity to take this course! I have finished SheCodes Basics and from what I have experienced, I can tell you it is an excellent workshop! There is an equal balance of learning and practicing. Matt Delac is a very qualified teacher and I know he wants us to succeed. SheCodes Basics is a great start and I can't wait to continue my journey in the next courses!
I can't say it was an easy journey but definitely it was quite interesting and challenging. Sometimes I felt overwhelmed with capabilities of JS. Sometimes I felt that my brain was going to explode. It's been a great workshop! I came with zero coding experience (and I mean z-e-r-o) and I had a lot of fun while learning! The lessons are very informative, some concepts were easier, some were harder, but all the instructions were clear. It's great to be able to do check my understanding by completing challenges and homework. Having taught myself, I can appreciate the logic of the course, the flow and steps of the course made sense and made the whole experience quite fun.
I'm loving this workshop, and since the program stays accessible, I plan to come back as I improve and redo the projects as I learn more to see what I'm capable of
Well structured introduction for people intrested in learning something new. Useful, practical tips. A lot of small tasks encourages you to try things on your own - so you learn better. Would surely recommend to others :)

I absolutely and highly recommend this workshop for learning the basics. Near the end of the workshop, I got excited knowing this is where the creativity comes to play. I don't know my limitations when it comes to web development and coding, but what I've gained from this experience is that I became expressive and felt the freedom in my creativity and I can't wait for the next workshops and to challenge myself further.

To be honest, I didn't know what to expect when signing up for SheCodes. I had zero knowledge on coding and felt a bit intimidated by them. But by watching the videos, a complete newbie like me was able to understand. The workshops are clear and concise, so much so you just have to have determination to learn

This was an amazing experience and I feel I have learnt a lot only doing the SheCodes Basic! I started from scratch as I am trying to switch careers (I am a Registered Nurse atm) and even though it was challenging, the workshop kept me engaged through the whole time! And I absolutely loved the little challenges! I would totally recommend starting at coding with SheCodes!

SheCodes Plus was a really great follow up to SheCodes Basic. I had a lot of fun building my weather app, and while it was not easy, it was VERY doable with Mattβs instruction. And it definitely made me even more excited about whatβs to come! Iβm now halfway through my SheCodes courses, and I would recommend it to everyone who wants to learn to code.
βMatt is a great instructor, he explains everything really well. I especially liked the homework at the end of each week, because you could put into practice everything you learned during the week. Thank you Matt! πβ

Great lessons that make learning how to code easy and fun.
I learned so much in the SheCodes React workshop! The assignments were scaffolded well and provided me with the knowledge to build both the weather and dictionary final projects. Even though I ran into challenges along the way, the Slack support and community was a great resource and helped me to persevere til the end. I wish there were more workshops! The layout of the workshop makes coding doable and is not overwhelming, Matt's lessons are easy to follow, and I am motivated to keep learning!
I am so glad that I signed up to one of the SheCodes courses! Coming from an education background, I had no idea what to expect. It was challenging, but the lessons were engaging and exciting. I had the best time learning to code, so I highly recommend signing up.

I've always wanted to do SheCodes since I was younger. Now that I am older I've been blessed in so many different ways this year where I was finally able to start learning skills I needed in order to live out my goals one step at a time. She codes so far have been a journey for me but I know no one will regret it!

I finally got comfortable with Javascript. Matt teaches it in a way that someone who has to relearn things a few times can understand the concept.
This course is a major upgrade from SheCodes Basics with lots of new content, and it was really challenging for me! Still, with the step-by-step instructions from Matt, the great support from the technical team on Slack, and some personal research, I was able to follow through the process and create my first app. I'd like to express my gratitude to everyone who's been working on the course, and I'm so glad to have had this opportunity to experience and learn.
This was an excellent course to learn how to make your websites responsive on all devices. It also gave a great glimpse into using figma, SEO, flexbox, variables, and using multiple html pages. You also get to build your very own online portfolio to showcase your coding projects to potential employers. Great info and putting our skills in practical practice.
It was fun yet very challenging making a weather forecast project. During this course I've learnt a lot about API, Github and functions in JS. Thanks a lot. It's a pleasure to study here.

Great course! In just 3 weeks, you can learn the basics of front-end development. It is very convenient that you can take classes at any time convenient for you. This is a good workshop to continue learning HTML, CSS and JS. The explanations are clear, I performed the tasks with pleasure and interest. My application works using the API from the OpenWeatherMap resource. I'm almost not interested in design (that's why I have it very simple), I prefer everything related to coding. I will continue my studies!
