I highly recommend this Python module for beginners to coding as well as programmers/students that have a good grip on front-end web development. I had an incredible amount of fun working with this module and it felt super easy. The lessons are well designed, bite-sized bits of straightforward information. The challenges were an excellent way of practicing each new bit of information learned. Matt's explanation was easy to follow, engaging and encouraging. SheCodes technical assistants on Slack are of great help.

This was a great course. I like how it was structured in that you get a chance to do the project again in the last two weeks after you've learnt all of the skills. It feels good to have been able to build something from scratch that actually works!

The She Codes Basic Add-on Workshop was super helpful for building on what I learned in the basic course. At first, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to do well as I didn't have much knowledge in coding. However, I loved how each lesson was structured well, very detailed, and easy to understand. This is the third course I’ve taken with SheCodes, and I can honestly say I’ve learned so much. The content is clear and easy to follow, and Matt does a great job explaining things step by step, especially when it comes to connecting to an API and understanding the logic behind it. What I really value is that the course doesn’t just give you answers, it encourages you to stay curious and explore different ways of solving things. Like the SheCodes team says, they propose some solutions, but they’re not the only ones. You’re free to go beyond what’s taught, or take it at your own pace and both are totally valid. It’s a great learning experience, and I’d definitely recommend it if you're starting out or looking to build confidence in web development.

I signed up as I was keen to learn something new and be challenged. It wasn't easy, however I found it really fun and enjoyed every moment of it. I'm really surprised I was able to create what I did!

Covered some more advanced HTML and explored JS in greater depth particularly date formats and time zones. It was a great way to practice and revise skills already learnt.

This task really strained me but very fun and learnt a lot 🛸

React needs your full attention during these weeks as it is a steep learning curve all the way. It requires a lot of dedication to reading additional material online and being curious in how the different aspects of React work. Once you get familiar with React it is extremely fun and versatile. It shows you a whole new way of working with JavaScript and takes what you have learned previously to a new level.

This workshop was by far the most challenging yet rewarding. I have learnt a whole lot.

As a first time coder, it was an amazing experience. Each coding project allowed me to apply what I've learned, and combine my creativity with logic. I feel more motivated to keep learning and growing in tech.

This course covers a tremendous amount of information. It continues to build on previous information from the Python Basics course. It helped me to take notes as I progressed through the weekly sessions so I could refer to them as I completed the challenges. I think what is most reassuring is that Matt continually emphasizes that it is impossible to remember all the different codes as he walks us through each new learning. He demonstrates 'the process of searching' for ways to solve your coding issue which for a first-time python-learner is essential.

I had a blast learning how powerful JavaScript and CSS are. Even though JavaScript is a bit tricky but Matt simplified it for me. To create the change theme feature was epic since I've used it before in different apps and platforms. Now learning how to create this feature myself, is truly amazing!
