I had never done a coding course before but I absolutely loved this first week with SheCodes. It's been a great experience so far, I feel like I've learned a lot and can't wait to learn more.
I had a great time learning how to code these last few weeks! It went by quickly despite the challenges. I am looking forward to see where this road will take me next! :)
The SheCodes Plus workshop is a great experience! I enjoyed building my own project and it was broken down in such a way that made it easy and enjoyable to follow. Even though some parts were difficult, such as learning how to integrate the API, the videos make it easy to follow along and understand.
This course taught how to structure and present web site content so it is organized in a professional way, and can adapt to screen size of the user. It made sure to reinforce the work environment/process system that is mainstream. I liked that we were given multiple opportunities to practice the things we learned to get used to this process. I was actually distracted from the actual building of the final project by the need to generate better quality content for it. That became my main concern.
This basic workshop helped me to learn the firsts steps about coding, Im make myself proud in every challenge and homework successfully completed
This program was much easier to follow along with than previous programs I've tried in the past, and the slack chat is a real help! Keep in mind that you will have to do your own research and problem-solving to finish some of the challenges, and it's not fully comprehensive. The Basics course has helped me a lot, but I certainly don't know everything about JavaScript yet! I look forward to continuing my learning in the other workshops.
This is a great programme for beginners like me with almost zero knowledge about coding. It gives you a great base. You learn the most important things in such simple language; once you try out what you've learned and find out that it works, you're encouraged to keep going. I recommend it without reserve.

I came to SheCodes with some old school coding experience (circa 2009) and I found the basics workshop to be easy to follow and very thorough. Matt encourages the student to research and I think this is such a huge step in any learning process. Will be moving on to PLUS workshop next!
I really wanted to learn a new skill over the summer holidays. I came across the advert on a social platform and instantly signed up out of curiosity. I'm so glad I did because it has kept my brain active over the summer and I have learned many new skills that I could utilise which I am very grateful for. Despite challenging moments there was always an immense amount of support from the Slack SheCodes Team. Matt's teaching techniques are effective as they are conscise, straighforward yet still informative. I appreciate having this oppourtunity very much!

As a busy mother of four this self paced course was just what I needed but with the accountability of the deadlines and course work to hand in at the end of each week. I feel confident with the tools I learned after completing my first project. Ten weeks ago I didn't know anything about coding, after learning the basics and then learning more advanced tools with the first part of SheCodes Plus I can totally code a website on my own even if it's just a landing page. I can also apply the methods I learned in other projects if I need or want to. Looking forward to keep learning and getting more comfortable with coding.
Coding with React makes me feel like a magician. SheCodes have helped me reaching a huge milestone of my life which is to learn coding. Difficult concepts are explained step-by-step with challenges and regular datelines that make it easier to follow the schedule and deliver the final projects while having a lot of fun. Definitely recommended !

SheCodes Basic was so helpful for me as I am completely new to coding. Matt's video's broke everything down really simply and the video's were so easy to follow. It was great to have the homework, challenge and project tasks to help cement the learning I had done and was really fun and exciting to try out the different methods I had learnt! It was indeed an education that I took a lot of effort and time to achieve. I find the training really helpful. You will definitely learn React very well if you listen carefully to Matt and follow the all things step by step. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this training.
Learning to code with SheCodes is really fun. The lessons with Matt's explanations are very clear, with examples that make it easy to understand. With a background education in Grafic Design and a little bit of experience in SQL I'm really having fun writing my creative thoughts into code, it is designing on a whole other level! I will definetly be back for one of the more in dept workshops! I fully recommand these workshops to anyone interested in learning how to code. π

SheCodes is a very helpful resource in learning how to code. I usually can never follow through with online classes as I easily am bored. With SheCodes, the structure of the classes allow just enough time for me to learn without losing interest. Weekly homework challenges are also very helpful in keeping me on top of my studies. I've taken lots of online classes before but SheCodes is easily one of the best! Unlike other courses where I inevitably lost interest, the weekly deadlines kept me accountable. The challenges accompanying the lessons also made sure I was actively learning, rather than just passively watching the video and moving onto the next. I'm so excited by everything I've learnt so far (I think it might be the first time in 31 years I've actually been excited to complete my homework?!) and can't wait to keep studying with SheCodes.
I would highly recommend this program to anyone that is simply interested in dabbling into the unknown of tech. Would highly recommend SheCodes to fellow beginners who want to get their start in tech. Everything was super easy to digest and the practice and homework assignments that went along with each class helped solidify everything we learned.
This particular workshop was more practical, even more so than React. Learning how to make websites responsive, adding media queries, advanced HTML links, Bootstrap, and CSS will all be tools that can applied to future web design.
This workshop was extremely interesting, stimulating and especially useful to learn a lot of new things. 3 weeks ago I wouldn't understand a single line of html and now I've coded a web page, wow! A very simple one but for me a great goal! Thank you SheCodes team!

I came into this program knowing absolutely nothing about coding. All I knew was that I wanted to learn a knew skill. I have come out of this way more knowledgeable then i could have imagined. I also enjoy it so much and look forward to continuing my learning and looking for work in this field.
I'm a graduate journalist with work experience in media, PR & Marketing. A few years ago I finished an introductory course in JavaScript. Recently I passed a free marathon of HTML/CSS and saw that I'm able to code something and it can be like to me. Now I'm a student at the SheCodes. For two months we already made two projects and learned to create multipage websites. Isn't that cool? Thank you a lot SheCodes team :raised_hands:
This was an extraordinary experience. I've learned so many interesting things and I encourage everyone to try the course because it's challenging but really satisfying at the end after submitting the final project.

Over the last 3 weeks I have learned so much about the foundations of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The short videos with challenges right after allowed me to apply what I just learnt while moving at a pace that worked for me to let everything really sink in. I found coding very intimidating before, but now I'm excited to continue learning about more complex topics!

I has to do a small bit of coding for statistical analysis for a class in my master's program. I became very curious about if I could code. This course was so user friendly, and I felt like it fit my learning style very well. I had dabbled in some other courses, but this just suited me better. I enjoyed it very much, and I feel like I have some basic competency.

Matt has great pedagogical skills, I never felt lost, thanks to the SheCodes team who was very supportive and efficient. The course is a great female empowerment, coding now seems accessible to me. I feel way more confident about html, css and js.
Really enjoyed the course and learned a lot from Matt, however, the video content and explanations could do with updating. I also don't think 5 hours per week is enough if you're just starting out as it takes a while to actually learn / remember things.

SheCodes Plus was definitely more tough to grasp than SheCodes Basics. Matt and his team were conveniently there to help me during the more challenging moments that I had with JavaScript. This course gives you plenty of room to grow by giving you a little taste of how you can use JavaScript functions, APIs, GitHub, Bootstrap, and Hosting so you can apply what you learned here for your future projects in the industry. I am looking forward to doing SheCodes Responsive next.
I have really enjoyed the videos and how Matt explains things, it makes it easy to pick up and understand. I also really love that there are projects to do from scratch at the end of each week, and a final project at the end to put everything I have learned into action.
I was not confident in my endeavors, I clearly had problems with my self-esteem. But I'm very satisfied and I really like it. I am grateful for the opportunity and look forward to a new start! These three weeks were interesting, everything was clear with ease and I learned 100% Who is not confident in their abilities - I strongly recommend believing in your strength!
