The workshop was very clear and helpful. Each step each video was explained very clearly to me and I was actually able to do the exercises while watching the videos. I really enjoyed it and learned a lot. Now to the next workshop!
I've been self-teaching front end development for the past 2 years, and realised the need for a really good program that would take me from "knowing nothing" to actually understanding what I was learning and build my skills. After searching for a good, structured, international and flexible coding program that made learning engaging and fun with a good support system for almost just as long, I happened to come across SheCodes. I love that it's for women, and the Customer Success team was very helpful in answering all my questions before I decided to signup. Matt is great with giving bite-sized lessons without the information being overwhelming, and the Technical Team has been really helpful whenever I get stuck with the challenges. I'm looking forward to completing the other workshops!
This has been an amazing introduction to computer coding. I honestly can say I have learned a lot within this 3 weeks workshop.
Coding was so intimidating to think about getting into, but SheCodes made me feel empowered, confident, and ready to learn all about coding. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in getting a taste for coding!
This was my first time learning anything related to coding, and I enjoyed it a lot. I wasn't sure if this was for me, but since the first class, I got really excited to learn more every day. I want to apply for a Masters's degree and want to share my experience in a blog, so this was the perfect excuse to start my journey. SheCodes made it easy and fun!
So grateful to Matt and the team for their expertise. I started as an absolute beginner in March, now at the end of July I have been able to make a functional weather app and responsive personal website. I'm excited to learn more with the next workshop!

I am so grateful for the opportunities that SheCodes provides to women. With the SheCodes Basics course I was able to finally advance in coding π©πΌβπ». The program is so well structured and it took me through various stages of development of a simple page offering lots of challenges to resolve along the way. I've created a page as my final project and I must say that being able to create something from scratch and then see it work feels very empowering πͺ. I have split feelings about reaching the end of my SheCodes journey! On one hand I am proud of my accomplishment but on the other hand I am sad that I have no more challenges to do! I have really enjoyed learning all about coding and in particular, React. The videos have been clear and very informative, I love Matt's style of teaching, and if I've ever had a problem the SheCodes team have been on hand to help and are so kind and supportive with it too . I have found my new passion and I'm so keen to continue with my own independent learning in the hopes of becoming a React Developer at some point. I will be keeping an eye on SheCodes and signing up to any future courses they create! Thank you so much for sparking my interest and opening up a whole new world for me. I really feel like it has changed my life and future prospects.

I have completed "SheCodes Responsive"!! Wow! It has been a long journey since I started "SheCoded Basics". I had never learned how to code until I started taking this workshop on SheCodes and never imagined that I would be ever able to code, but now looking at what I have been working on including my own website, which I have created as a final project of SheCodes Responsive, I feel much more confident with my skills and I can see lots of potential in myself which I have never seen thanks to SheCodes, Matt Delac, and SheCodes' wonderful informative professional team!

My programmer boyfriend has been nagging me for years to start learning to code, but I've felt reluctant. It seemed difficult and overwhelming. This summer I felt open to learn something new, saw an ad for SheCodes, and started the basics course. I had some minor experience with HTML and CSS as a blogger, but JavaScript was completely new to me. SheCodes made learning all the basics easy to understand with a good amount of challenge making it very enjoyable. I'm definitely left wanting to learn more!
I loved learning with Matt. All the lessons are explained in an understandable, simple language and the thing that worked for me well was to immediately get an exercise after a learning video. So you practice what you have just been taught. Works great for me!

Really great workshop. Information is presented very consistently and it is also repeated several times, which is great because you don't always remember it the first time. Matt really has a talent for teaching. In fact I do not remember when I was so excited to learn. Great introduction to check if you like coding.

With no previous experience in coding, I found SheCodes and Matt's tutorials very easy to follow. I learn well in a school type environment so the challenges were a lot of fun to navigate and having deadlines made sure that I stayed on track. I definitely recommend SheCodes!

Taking this workshop was interesting. I learned of SheCodes from my sister and her friends, the latter of which is also taking this course. First thing I want to say is it is cool how this website is targeted towards women. This is something that is very rare, so it's nice to see women being able to learn a new skill exclusively. I also like how SheCodes can be used from woman around the world. For myself, I enjoyed the class for the most part. Matt did a good job with his lessons and it was easy to find time for them. I also have found, thanks to SheCodes, that coding can be quite fun since you get to create your own things. You don't need to know design or even math, the latter which is very true, and it's been fun being able to make my own page even if it's a simple style. Overall though I'm glad I took this class and hope to take the others in the near future.

Thinking about switching professions or only wanting to learn something so complex sounds scary, but Matt and SheCodes do a great job of explaining, providing the tools to learn, and encouraging engagement. Definitely will keep on going. Perhaps one day I'll be THE developer.
I wanted to learn to code after I graduated from high school and found out about Shecodes after my sister introduced me to it. Shecodes has made coding to be fun personally by teaching new things step-by-step and with a supportive community within.
The SheCodes Basic course was an awesome stepping stone to learning the basics of coding. The classes were easy to follow and I feel more confident in my abilities after these 3 weeks. Couldn't recommend this course enough for people who want to start learning how to code!
It was completely new world for me in the beginning, but learning with SheCodes is so easy and so much fun! I enjoyed each and every video and homework.

SheCodes Responsive workshop is now one of my favourites I've participated so far. It was quite challenging but super fun and exiting to follow. This course provides tons of information to learn and practice - following with guidance of supporting team - big thanks to them! And the final project - it was very interesting and challenging to create multiple page website that would be fully rensponsive on different devices.
