It was nice to learn responsive site coding. Also being active user of Slack this time was a nice idea. Looking at the questions of the others helps to get even more practice. Especially when I was trying to find a solution for them.
SheCodes has been such an accommodating learning resource because it has taken me over a year to finally complete this intro program (with full time studies and full time work). I think I may have undiagnosed ADHD so the many extensions that were provided to me were very reassuring. I appreciate how easy to follow the challenges were and I now have a solid introduction to html, css and js. I hope I can continue on this journey some time in the future!
During these three weeks, I learned that coding can be for those who want to learn it and that it is not as difficult as thought. Matt uses very simple language so everyone can understand what is being explained during the lessons. I've enjoyed everything that I learned and I think that I will be investing in my coding skills from now on!
It was an impressive and fun journey. It's inspiring me to learn more and more about frontend. I hope this course is the same for other students because it is the best thing that happened to me in the last year!)
It was a very nice course π! I actually wanted to learn how to code since a very long time ago but I didn't know how to start because of lack of knowledge in the subject and the courses are very expensive. I actually loved this course because it allowed me to learn and mix both of my passions engineering and how to make everything more accessible for usersβ€! This is a great workshop to combine all of your previous knowledge and to actually use it. And of course to learn about SEO and Responsive. Loved to make the final project for this workshop and I'm going to definetely improve it with time.

Thanks SheCodes, I have really gotten so much out of this program. It helped me to get into further coding studying at a university and a digital jobs program through the government in my country. This course pushed me in a way that was super satisfying. I've learned a lot!! I enjoyed it so much that I finished ahead of schedule and I love that I was able to do it at my own pace. I found it really interesting watching Matt code and I think it's great that he didn't edit out his little errors so we can see him correct them. I feel proud of my little weather site and am super excited to jump in to the next certificate!

Learning was easy to understand and I like the way how workshop was set up: learning by examples, lots of hints and useful links, tools, that I can already use.
I grew my skills and learned a lot about Bootstrap, Responsiveness, and SEO. Creating a portfolio was the highlight of the course.

The lessons were well organised, and I really liked the self-paced nature. I also like that there were challenges along the way, because it really made you think about what you learned and apply it straight away. I would highly recommend this course for anyone thinking about learning to code.
What I liked most about this course was that you could study at a time convenient for you. The lessons are short and on topic, learning is a pleasure. I want to keep going, because it's really fun!

SheCodes Basics was a great introduction to coding. I had tried another class previously, but struggled to gain momentum. The format of SheCodes, which broke each concept down and then allowed me the opportunity to practice using it, was very effective. Most importantly, this experience gave me the confidence that I can learn to code and I look forward to progressing through additional classes.
SheCodes is an incredible experience. I never thought I would be able to code since I had the stigma that coding and programming languages were something complicated. Coding is not easy, but it is certainly not impossible. Also, I am thankful that I could access my course, even though I did not finish it in the estipulate time for personal reasons. SheCodes beginner workshop was challenging yet doable, with resources like slack you can get help from other peers as well as professionals. I started this journey in January and had no idea that I would be so interested in learning more about Front-end Development. This last few months learning HTML, CSS and Java helped a lot in my professional career. I recommend this workshop to everyone that is curious about front-end development.
The self-paced lectures and assignments improved my understanding and hands-on practice of coding. It eliminated the far-reaching idea of what I thought coding was and what was required. Coding can be learned and done by anyone!

I've always known a little bit of coding but never enough to confidently use like I've been able to learn so far with SheCodes. It's been a really good experience and done in such a way that I didn't feel too overwhelmed and felt like I had a lot of time to learn without feeling like I needed to rush to complete any of it.
I really enjoyed this workshop. Even though it was only 3 weeks, I gained so much knowledge. When I began the workshop I knew a little bit about VS Code, HTML, and CSS. Now that I've finished I've learned even more and I was introduced to JavaScript. I was honestly very nervous about JavaScript but it was taught in a way that made it seem less intimidating and easy to understand. I loved the short lessons and the challenges that followed. It allowed me to test my skills and make sure I was truly understanding the information. The solutions were insightful and I feel like I learned a lot of tips from those as well. I highly recommend this workshop to everyone. Beginners will find it easy to follow and those that already know how to code can refresh their skills.

I thoroughly enjoyed taking the self-paced Basics class at SheCodes. Matt is an awesome instructor and while classes are pre-recorded, I felt as if they were live because Matt was engaging, entertaining, and really broke down concepts to make them understandable. I loved having the lessons and homework as a I learn by doing. I also had a ton of support with the SheCodes Slack community and was able to ask for help when needed or check the threads for tips and guidance on assignments.
As someone that knows nothing about coding, this course took me step by step and I truly learned so much!

Before SheCodes : Professionally an administrative assistant since 2014; I knew I could take my skills to a new level. With the work force going more and more digital, learning how to code was the best decision I could have made. I'm so proud I have the coding skills I gained through SheCodes now! I have had so much fun doing this course! I procrastinated a lot before starting my homework every week but once I started, I was not able to stop obsessing over all the different things I can do with what Matt taught during the course. I enjoyed this She Codes Basic Workshop. I really liked Matt's teaching style and well-structured videos. I love the challenge after each lesson. I worked as a backend developer and wanted to learn new skills in Frontend. Because of this workshop, I was able to update my existing knowledge.
