Rebuilding the weather app in Python this time has been great for consolidating my learning, and building my confidence. Matt's approach makes the learning and challenges so much easier to understand than other ways I've tried to learn to code.

This lesson helped me understand how front-end and backend systems connect. It also improved my confidence in working with external APIs and interpreting JSON data. I especially enjoyed seeing my project come to life, and it felt amazing to see the live temperature, city, and weather description update in real time. My biggest takeaway: I can now build useful, interactive web apps and thatβs just the beginning! This project showed me that learning by building is the most powerful way to grow as a developer. Iβm proud of what I created, and Iβm excited to keep learning and improving.
This was good revision of Pythons Basics as well as a chance to expand on the concepts we've been learning. I'll never use Excel again!

The journey to learning how to code as a beginner is not easy as first, especially if you are not familiar with any coding languages but with the help from the SheCodes team and Matt Delac it becomes easier as time goes by. Coding teaches you patience and to pay attention to detail. As challenging as it was at first, I really enjoyed every moment of it. What I enjoyed most is how fun and interesting JavaScript is.
The SheCodes Responsive Add-on was a great opportunity to build on what I had already learned. This workshop focused on more advanced responsive development using pure CSS and embeds, which helped me deepen my understanding of layout techniques without relying on Bootstrap. It was a valuable challenge and helped me feel more confident in writing clean, responsive code from scratch.

I have loved this introduction to Python - everything I learnt about Javascript in Matt's previous courses was particularly helpful to me for understanding Python, especially functions and lists etc. Everything is clearly explained and I have found the pace to be great for a beginner like me!

The SheCodes Advanced Python course was the perfect next step after completing the Intro to Python course. It really built on the foundation I had, while introducing powerful new concepts that deepened my understanding of the language. Learning about Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) made my code more organized and reusable, and working with files and file manipulation gave me practical tools I know Iβll use often. One of the highlights for me was diving into data visualization, it was so rewarding to see data come to life in charts and graphs, all within Python. This course was educational, hands-on, and empowering from start to finish!

SheCodes Responsive has been an incredibly educational experience! Throughout the course, I gained a deep understanding of how to create responsive websites that work seamlessly on all screen sizes. I also learned how to build a unique online portfolio and develop multi-page websites. Additionally, I gained valuable insights into advanced use of Bootstrap, Flexbox, and Media Queries, as well as how to host my code on GitHub. A really fun and challenging course . There were a few tasks that were testing but this is when you feel you are learning as you work through problems. I found it satisfying finally solving bugs and getting past stumbling blocks. Making an app with all the functionality and learning how to get live data was an advanced step in my coding journey.
SheCodes Plus AI was a great learning experience! The lessons were clear, hands-on, and easy to followβeven for someone without a technical background. Joining SheCodes was really great as Matt always provided instructions which were always clear and easy to follow. Since I join a web development bootcamp earlier but its instructions werenβt clear for me then , therefore I wasnβt able to complete it and receive its certificate and I lost my confidence it coding. However after joining SheCodes I regained it as its lesson were simple and beginner friendly and I was able to follow its instructions step by step and complete its challenges. SheCodes is a great program that allows its students to learn and experiment with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as much or as little as they would like while providing great resources through the instructional videos and solution videos, Slack, and teaching how to better utilize google. I appreciate that we were challenged to figure out different elements, functions, and properties in each challenge, and then given a solution at the end, that is a very helpful way for me to learn
Really enjoyed this course. Learning more advanced techniques and being able to see everything come together was fun and interesting. Building the website helped to bring out my creativity and loved every minute of it.

Learning to code has been a powerful and fulfilling experience. Exploring CSS transformations, animations, and background styling opened my eyes to how design can truly elevate a webpage. Iβve built landing pages using grid layouts, added dark and light mode toggles, and used JavaScript prompts to create interactive elements, all from scratch. Every line of code makes me feel more empowered, and each new feature feels like unlocking a new level of creativity. I'm genuinely proud of how much I've learned and deeply grateful to SheCodes for providing such a supportive and inspiring space to grow my skills.
