This is an excellent course. I learned a few new techniques and practiced the OpenWeatherAPI. The course has a convenient organization that helps personal time management. I'm a bit stuck with parametrized callback functions in axios but found a solution by googling. Thanks a lot.
SheCodes Basics was the perfect introduction to coding, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I wanted to learn coding to develop my skillset, increase creativity and improve cross-department collaboration with the development and product teams. All of the challenges and practical exercises were extremely helpful in putting what you learnt to the test! SheCodes made something that was quite intimidating to me, very fun and interesting! I highly recommend and look forward to progressing onto the next workshop.

Another great SheCodes course! I love how by each course, you get 'set loose' more and more. It is more challenging that way, but it also makes it more fun. Though the two React projects are technically done, I still want to play around with them more. Sometimes it was hard to reach the weekly deadlines (I also took the course during summer holiday), but it was easy to extend a week at a time. Some of the documentation for e.g. the dictionary API was not 100% up to speed, but it's understandable that that will happen quickly - it also makes the course more 'realistic' in a way, as I'm sure similar problems could happen in 'the real world'. The course is not comprehensible enough for me to now call myself a React developer, but there is definitely a good fit between duration, price and quality. Most importantly, it has made me get excited about React and learning more!
I've completed all 4 courses with SheCodes. I've taken a variety of online coding courses in the past and SheCodes has easily been the best. Each course has been easy to understand and follow along, the challenges help you apply what you've just learned and the projects have been fun to complete.

It was an unforgettable learning experience! Matt's lessons whith the with the small steps technique made it possible to master quite difficult material. I've really enjoyed my SheCodes basic course! I started doing it whilst on maternity leave with my 8 week old (probably not the best time to start learning something new - but I did it!). I realised that when I go back to work, I don't want to do what I was doing previously and want something which is more flexible. Matt made everything really easy to understand, and each video broke everything down well and the homework after each section was really helpful. I've really enjoyed the course so far, and look forward to continue with the next course when my little one is a bit older and we're in more of a routine. For the meantime, I will revisit the old videos and keep practicing to enhance my skills!
Learning React and practicing all these technics with SheCodes and Matt was an incredible journey. I couldn't even imagine 3 months ago that I would be able to create projects like this. Matt is an amazing teacher, he can arouse interest in programming from the very first lesson and give a chance to start a new life with new career opportunities in tech. I have really enjoyed learning to code with SheCodes! It's definitely challenging but you also really feel a sense of achievement when you figure it out. The courses are super engaging, easy to follow and the deadlines keep you accountable. I also love that support is always available from the SheCodes team and other students on Slack. I think its the first course I've done in my life that I actually look forward to sitting down and working on, highly recommend so far! :)
Learning via SheCodes is awesome. You'll learn everything step by step and can work on it. Matt is great at explaining complicated topics. SheCodes' team is also available to assist you if you feel stuck. Therefore, they all contribute to making it an enjoyable experience.
Challenging but rewarding sessions. As a visual learner I really benefitted from the clear and concise instruction through Matt's videos. The exercises build and layer quite quickly and each new item is practiced in several ways. By the end of the course, a lot of the new skills become automatic. A really engaging course which I enjoyed thoroughly.
Classes are well guided and there is always support from SheCodes team and fellow learners in case you get stuck.

I absolutely loved building on the learnings from the SheCodes Basic and to dive deeper into HTML5 , CSS and especially Javascript and API. I don't have to build exactly the same as everyone else, in the end everyone has a completely unique project result. This was best coding course I took, and one of the best courses generally! The thing I liked the most is that there are real life examples, also it is done in a way that with each lesson there is challenge which you have to do by yourself. This way you can immediately check did you understood everything that has been said during lesson. It is just the right ratio between listening and practice. The structure of lessons is done in a way that you can learn lot of practical things and get general overview into coding, something that would take lot of time to figure it all on its own. Concept of deadline is also great idea, because you need to challenge and push yourself. Time is more than enough to finish everything so if you do it before deadline you feel proud😊.

Would recommend for someone looking to learn web development basics. Would be beneficial to have 6 weeks instead of 3 lets say, with more practice projects. Otherwise, really enjoyed the format of lessons and video instructions.

What to say ? Again awesome content, great explanations and exercises . This workshop was the most challenging one so far but I loved it. I must admit, at times it was frustrating because you have to learn some advanced concepts, but once you get it you realize it is definitely worth it because with this approach your code is much clearer and more manageable. And it's even more fun to code now. I recommend it to everyone that has passed frontend development course as the next step :)

I worry a lot that I won't be able to turn this into a career. I worry that I am not able to learn the material, then I hop on and complete a lesson and watch what I am learning come to life in real time as I code. Completing the Plus project has helped to boost my confidence that I can do this! I am excited to move onto the next course.

It was nice to learn responsive site coding. Also being active user of Slack this time was a nice idea. Looking at the questions of the others helps to get even more practice. Especially when I was trying to find a solution for them.
