Having very little experience with coding before taking this course, I was a little apprehensive about taking it. There was no need to be apprehensive as Matt did a great job in the videos of explaining how everything works! And I had fun learning and making the final project.
I can't describe how useful and practical this course was for me. As someone who had no knowledge of coding, I was able to easily learn and apply the concepts. The positive point of this course was that it was divided into short sessions. There were also very good challenges that helped to consolidate the content in my mind. Thanks, Matt! Thank you for providing the opportunity to learn React. It was by far the most challenging out of all the workshops, but I feel it was a valuable skill to gain. The lessons from Matt were well-guided and I was able to follow them along the way. After starting with SheCodes Basic 13 months ago, I feel I have come a long way and now more confident in applying my newly gained front-end skills to my job.
Still loving SheCodes. This course set me up with so much knowledge in a short space of time. It didn't feel particularly challenging to learn, but before I knew it I could code a whole responsive website from scratch. I particularly enjoyed following the step by step lessons when working towards the final project. I was able to use the foundations of the final project to create my own CV website in order to start applying for jobs.

Great to learn about making a website responsive with practical challenges
This has been my favourite course so far. I have found it so much fun and educational to make apps and websites responsive and mobile-friendly. I'm now looking forward to going back through my past projects and applying the new skills I have learnt from this responsive course.
I felt nervous to start this at first, but after, I fall in love with coding. I felt like I was able to create an application that could make a huge difference in our everyday life. I will continue to learn more about the different types of language in coding, and I hope to make my goal come true. This was, in fact, an amazing experience for me.
Wow what a step learning curve! Both loved and hated the React Workshop. Have never learnt so much in my adult life. Excited to have this new skill. Would recommend to all who want to get into coding.
It was nice to apply what we learned in a professional setting and learn how to break into the industry with great tips and tricks from Matt.

Thank you for this oportunity of leaning new technologies and techniques! React in fact is complex in content but has such simple lines of code that sometimes it seems easier than plain JS. It sure is challenging and there is a feeling that this is just the begging of the journey and that there is always more to learn, practice and consolidate.
I need to learn more and continue practicing , they give you all you need , but without practicing is not possible to be a Coder.

I just completed the SheCodes Plus! I enjoyed working hard on the challenges and finishing the project creating a weather app practicing many new things. In this workshop I have also learned how to communicate with other developers, the tools that exist and how to search for my own resources when I am stuck in one of the tasks. Now I'm encouraged and inspired to study coding more than before. Can't wait to continue my studies with the next workshops.
Very challenging, but it was also quite fun! Seriously, I feel quite lost in the middle of the course because the javascript code was quite hard to understand π But the slack, github documentation and the course video were my hero. It was really helping me to understand the code bit by bit. If I don't understand the code yet, I just need to replay the video or read the code documentation. And so glad π€ that SheCodes have extension feature. I got quite sick for almost two weeks and need to be hospitalised because my condition didn't not get any better at home. I was still learning in week 4 at that time and need to request an extension for my homework. So I can focus at my recuperation, the extension feature was really a big help.
I really like SheCodes. I have learned a lot of cool stuff in the first too weeks of my sheCodes Max program! π€ π
It was a really interesting course and I learnt a lot. Some moments were frustrating, but I managed to solve the problems.
This workshop was really fun and interesting! I feel like I learned a lot! I relearned many things in a different and more simple way than I did in my first semester of my web design and development classes in my university. I also learned many things or ways I never knew before! Overall, this workshop was really useful, interesting, and fun! It really reinforced the basics I already knew and taught me so much more. I hope to continue learning more in the other workshops and improving my skills and knowledge further and further!

Matt is a natural teacher. He uses the format of "I do, we do, you do" to give gentle practice time. The learning felt engaging and natural, more like solving a puzzle or playing a game than what I've come to expect from online courses. Between the well-designed lessons, ample opportunities to practice, and the community of support in the Slack channel, it's really easy to see why SheCodes has such a high completion rate.

Itβs happened and I finally finished my all workshops with SheCodes! I am happy and the same time sad, because it was interesting to learn and create something new, and difficult. I think this class was interesting. I didn't know how much I could really learn in 3 weeks. I did wish that there were more instructions on certain things but overall, I'm very glad I took this class and can't wait to get into the world of tech more!
Just take the leap and sign up for SheCodes, I had been wanting to learn coding for awhile till a co-worker at my customer service job mentioned she was taking classes with Shecodes. I looked into it and made the commitment to learn to code. I have finished Shecodes basic and plus, with more lessons to come. Shecodes makes it easy to start learning and whenever I've needed help the shecodes team and the whole shecodes community on Slack have come through for me.
SheCodes is helping me learn fron-end programming step by step with no pressure. It is fun and the team is ready to answer your questions whenever you have any. If you want to learn html, css and javaScript, I think this is a good way in.

This was definitely difficult. I felt like if this part of the bootcamp was split into two different sections, it would make it more enjoyable as the jump from basic to plus is quite a leap and was abit overwhelming. Above all, I learnt alot and now javascript no longer looks like a foreign language to me so I am most definitely seeing improvements in my coding.
I can't thank enough SheCodes community and Matt. I have learned tons and had such a great time learning new projects. Highly Recommends it to you all.
