What an amazing adventure I have embarked on by joining this course! I never thought I could make it and now I am filled with pride because I have been able to develop my own weather app and I have also managed to add an extra feature to showcase that after this course, the sky is the limit. I am so grateful to have learned so much thanks to the efforts of my amazing instructor Matt and the whole team of she-codes. I can't describe how proud I am of myself, my journey as a front-end developer starts here and no one will be able to stop me now :)
This is great follow-on from the SheCodes Basic course, building on the skills learnt previously as well as learning some really fun new techniques. Looking forward to more :)
The way Matt transfers knowledge is very easy to understand, and it is beginners very friendly. Personally speaking, it is a very good learning experience. I can manage my studying time without any pressure as long as I finish all the challenges and homework. Overall, it is a very pleasant learning experience! I gained a lot. I'll continue with my next course, and excited about upcoming challenges!
I enjoyed learning about how to make websites more responsive. I also found this section to be a nice refresher of CSS and HTML, diving deeper into those after an intensive Javascript course was helpful for me as it is the foundation for all websites. I did find the work on this particular section to be a bit repetitive, as we coded the same site twice. I chose a different final project to try something new. However, I appreciated that for this final project we were allowed to choose from 3 different designs. I chose one of the designs that we had not previously done. I'm glad that there were options and that I was able to code my project without video tutorials as the tutorials were following a different design.
As a person who loves learning, this was the best! Matt is a gifted intstructor who will guide you into the world of coding with great ease and fun. At times, I felt like he was speaking to me in person, as he was predicting the mistakes I was going to make! It was a really fulfulling experience that I would recommend to anyone, despite what intentions one has career-wise. Coding is for everyone! Can't wait for the next workshop!
It was very challenging for me to build this app, but I am very grateful to SheCodes platform for this opportunity to learn something new and get new skills!
The course allows you to improve and expand your knowledge. I can't believe how much I learned in just a few weeks, creating a portfolio site was a great final project. I really enjoyed the SheCodes lessons. I highly recommended SheCodes courses.

I found this course to be very challenging but at the same time I learned ALOT about javascript. I have a better understanding of the basic concepts. I have alot more to learn but this course made me feel like I can learn it and it's not impossible.
Learning React was very challenging, but I truly learned a lot with this workshop. Be ready to have some frustrating days along the way :P, but it is totally worth it!
I really enjoyed this workshop. Despite having some previous knowledge in these programming languages, there is always something new to learn.

I really enjoyed learning React with She.Codes. Projects that seemed difficult at first glance turned out to be achievable. Now I am much more confident in my abilities and will continue to study web-development
My goal for months has been to venture into and grow a career in coding which I was struggling with due to financial constraints. SheCodes came along at just the right time! Starting the program, I have been able to learn and develop myself and I am hopeful the sky is my stepping stone I highly recommend SheCodes to every female who wants to learn coding because I learned a lot!
I was always considering to learn coding sometime and finally I made the decision that my goal to 2022 was to start it somewhere. I came across SheCodes and I decided to take it up. So far I have no regrets and I am enjoying the learning process so far.
The Basic Workshop had easy to navigate lessons, challenges, and homework. The program provides great support through Slack with quick response times from instructors and other users. As someone who is completely new to coding, I would recommend this program to others hoping to learn an introduction to coding.

He also makes you have faith that you will accomplish the task at hand. The assignments challenge me to figure things out and when I solve the problem, I feel a sense of accomplishment. I feel like I think better at my job as well. And if you get stuck, the SheCodes team advises you. Can't wait to learn more things.
It was really interesting to learn JavaScript on such example as the Weather Application. And It's an inspiring feeling when you understand the logic of code and how to connect functions so they can interact. I had some doubts close to the end of the course, that I can't manage more information without forgetting previous, but last two weeks of repetition were very useful. Thank you, Matt!

Loved the Plus Workshop as well. It was way more complex than the Basic, but it definitely opened my appetite for learning programming languages! I will continue to expand my knowledge and maybe even go further with the next workshop. Don't hesitate to try new things - cause it's worth it!

It is great to be able to learn more about how React work through this add-on workshop, I enjoyed a lot in creating this dictionary project. And I am amazed that how many different APIs we can take advantage of online. I loved this course. This is everything that I wanted to learn more about as a front-end designer. I love that we leave the class with a completed portfolio website - I've been trying to get mine off the ground for months and this helped push me over that threshold. SheCodes has been an incredible experience! I am mostly bedridden and have very limited mental energy due to ME/CFS, but Matt's lessons are simple and enjoyable. Plus the program was very flexible with extensions when I was in health flares. It felt sooo good to actually learn a new skill and feel productive again! I missed that feeling! Also, I love knowing that if my health improves enough to actually stay awake during the day, I now have very desirable skills for a job that I could even do in bed! Thanks SheCodes!
This intro workshop was challenging and fun! The over-the-shoulder format of the lesson videos is super helpful, and the homework and final project really help to solidify everything I've learned so far.

After trying for months to teach myself just one coding language, I knew I had to rethink my approach. I signed up for SheCodes, and it wasn't at all what I expected - it's better. The workshop was educational, reflective and fun. The challenges that were designed in almost every lesson encouraged me to be creative. It's the learning-by-doing approach that I like! At a crossroad in my life, where I was desperate to find something relevant, that also stands for women empowerment and that I could dig my creative claws into - I couldnβt have found ShCodes at a better time. I donβt think Iβve done something so frustrating, but as highly rewarding recently than learning the basics of coding. Having Matt to talk through things with, and make lights of stressful situations was what got me though in the end and I canβt wait to keep practising to eventually become a front end developer, and learn other languages to potentially go further. The world of code seems limitless, with opportunity to enter any industry. My ultimate goal is to be able to build and host my own website from scratch, that will encourage collaboration and interaction. This course has given me the base to build towards that, in terms of the community and the learning material. Thank you SheCodes, I may be back to complete the rest of the packages!π«
