Very nice workshop! I enjoyed learning about grids, transform, and other CSS properties! I feel like I'm getting more used to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and it was fun putting the project together using all of those! I love how everything is taught in an easy to understand way and you can always go back to the video to refresh your memory and understand it better. I also really like the challenges and how they give you good practice on doing something you just learned about so you get more knowledge and experience. I feel like I'm learning a lot!
I didn't know if I liked coding, but I like puzzling so I thought I'd give it a try. Great course, with good explanations and exercises to help you learn the basics. It has me wanting more, so as soon as I have time I will go for the next workshop!

I would highly recommend all of the SheCodes Workshops to all women who want to learn something new, challenge themselves or try a new career! It requires time to actually learn and get lots of stuff, but you are not alone of this journey and it's definitely worth trying out!
I really enjoyed making this weather-app project! I was able to use many things I learned before as well as learned a lot of new skills and techniques in coding, such as API, GIT, Hosting, etc.
I never thought that coding would be this easy and fun! Matt breaks it down into chunks that are easy to follow and learn by applying!

Learning React was a challenge that I really enjoyed. Impressive to see how far I've come in programming in just a few months with SheCodes. Coding was completely new to me, but I really enjoyed it. I've learned a lot from SheCodes Basics. Everything is explained step by step, but is still challenging which makes is a lot of fun. What an enjoyable experience! π As a graphic/website designer I knew the very basics and have "winged" my way up until this point on my own website and learning along the way for client work. I still learnt SO much during this basics course that has given me complete clarity and understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and more confidence in my abilities and work. The classes are super easy to follow and the projects are really satisfying as you can (literally) see the results of your hard work. Thank you Matt for creating such an excellent platform to learn with. Cannot wait to complete the rest of the courses!

Having very little experience with coding before taking this course, I was a little apprehensive about taking it. There was no need to be apprehensive as Matt did a great job in the videos of explaining how everything works! And I had fun learning and making the final project.
I can't describe how useful and practical this course was for me. As someone who had no knowledge of coding, I was able to easily learn and apply the concepts. Thank you for providing the opportunity to learn React. It was by far the most challenging out of all the workshops, but I feel it was a valuable skill to gain. The lessons from Matt were well-guided and I was able to follow them along the way. After starting with SheCodes Basic 13 months ago, I feel I have come a long way and now more confident in applying my newly gained front-end skills to my job.
Still loving SheCodes. This course set me up with so much knowledge in a short space of time. It didn't feel particularly challenging to learn, but before I knew it I could code a whole responsive website from scratch. I particularly enjoyed following the step by step lessons when working towards the final project. I was able to use the foundations of the final project to create my own CV website in order to start applying for jobs.

Great to learn about making a website responsive with practical challenges
This has been my favourite course so far. I have found it so much fun and educational to make apps and websites responsive and mobile-friendly. I'm now looking forward to going back through my past projects and applying the new skills I have learnt from this responsive course.
I felt nervous to start this at first, but after, I fall in love with coding. I felt like I was able to create an application that could make a huge difference in our everyday life. I will continue to learn more about the different types of language in coding, and I hope to make my goal come true. This was, in fact, an amazing experience for me.
Wow what a step learning curve! Both loved and hated the React Workshop. Have never learnt so much in my adult life. Excited to have this new skill. Would recommend to all who want to get into coding.
It was nice to apply what we learned in a professional setting and learn how to break into the industry with great tips and tricks from Matt.

Thank you for this oportunity of leaning new technologies and techniques! React in fact is complex in content but has such simple lines of code that sometimes it seems easier than plain JS. It sure is challenging and there is a feeling that this is just the begging of the journey and that there is always more to learn, practice and consolidate.
I need to learn more and continue practicing , they give you all you need , but without practicing is not possible to be a Coder.

I just completed the SheCodes Plus! I enjoyed working hard on the challenges and finishing the project creating a weather app practicing many new things. In this workshop I have also learned how to communicate with other developers, the tools that exist and how to search for my own resources when I am stuck in one of the tasks. Now I'm encouraged and inspired to study coding more than before. Can't wait to continue my studies with the next workshops.
Very challenging, but it was also quite fun! Seriously, I feel quite lost in the middle of the course because the javascript code was quite hard to understand π But the slack, github documentation and the course video were my hero. It was really helping me to understand the code bit by bit. If I don't understand the code yet, I just need to replay the video or read the code documentation. And so glad π€ that SheCodes have extension feature. I got quite sick for almost two weeks and need to be hospitalised because my condition didn't not get any better at home. I was still learning in week 4 at that time and need to request an extension for my homework. So I can focus at my recuperation, the extension feature was really a big help.
I really like SheCodes. I have learned a lot of cool stuff in the first too weeks of my sheCodes Max program! π€ π
It was a really interesting course and I learnt a lot. Some moments were frustrating, but I managed to solve the problems.
This workshop was really fun and interesting! I feel like I learned a lot! I relearned many things in a different and more simple way than I did in my first semester of my web design and development classes in my university. I also learned many things or ways I never knew before! Overall, this workshop was really useful, interesting, and fun! It really reinforced the basics I already knew and taught me so much more. I hope to continue learning more in the other workshops and improving my skills and knowledge further and further!

Matt is a natural teacher. He uses the format of "I do, we do, you do" to give gentle practice time. The learning felt engaging and natural, more like solving a puzzle or playing a game than what I've come to expect from online courses. Between the well-designed lessons, ample opportunities to practice, and the community of support in the Slack channel, it's really easy to see why SheCodes has such a high completion rate.

Itβs happened and I finally finished my all workshops with SheCodes! I am happy and the same time sad, because it was interesting to learn and create something new, and difficult. I think this class was interesting. I didn't know how much I could really learn in 3 weeks. I did wish that there were more instructions on certain things but overall, I'm very glad I took this class and can't wait to get into the world of tech more!
Just take the leap and sign up for SheCodes, I had been wanting to learn coding for awhile till a co-worker at my customer service job mentioned she was taking classes with Shecodes. I looked into it and made the commitment to learn to code. I have finished Shecodes basic and plus, with more lessons to come. Shecodes makes it easy to start learning and whenever I've needed help the shecodes team and the whole shecodes community on Slack have come through for me.
SheCodes is helping me learn fron-end programming step by step with no pressure. It is fun and the team is ready to answer your questions whenever you have any. If you want to learn html, css and javaScript, I think this is a good way in.

React seems to be a rather powerful and elegant framework. While learning React is quiet an adventure, I am convinced that the effort, time and energy invested matter a lot, in the long run. Learning is fun with SheCodes people around :)

This was definitely difficult. I felt like if this part of the bootcamp was split into two different sections, it would make it more enjoyable as the jump from basic to plus is quite a leap and was abit overwhelming. Above all, I learnt alot and now javascript no longer looks like a foreign language to me so I am most definitely seeing improvements in my coding.
