I would definitely recommend this course to anyone looking for a good intro to coding. I liked the short lessons, I thought it broke concepts down well and made it easy to learn at my own pace. The homework was a great way help apply what I was learning in the lessons and the due dates kept me accountable. I really enjoyed the final project, it was a lot of fun and helped put everything I learnt together. Highly recommend!

This was a great introduction to coding. I enjoyed learning about coding and the different types of coding, far more than I expected. The course was well formatted and the lessons/challenges were easy to follow.

WOW! This was not easy, but by doing it step by step and a lot of help fr mr Matt himsel, I solved it! It was a fun project that made me both cry and laugh. =) I have learned a lot and love the idea of knowing how to use API:s and so on. This opens a lot of doors and I can´´ t wait to start working on my own projects!

I loved learning responsive web design. Seeing pages come to live and respond to different screens was thrilling. I didn't need a lot of hand holding with this course but I still heard from the SheCodes team on Slack checking on my progress which is great.

SheCodes Basic was quite fun. It was easy to add the 3-5 hours every week to my calendar. And although I have already been in touch with some html, css and js programming, I learned some new skills. Anyhow I will upgrade to SheCodes Max.
My experience with SheCodes Responsive was great! There is so much to learn and it can be a bit challenging, but at the same time, it was fun and knowledgeable!
Having had no experience in Coding, this introduction was everything I was looking for to dive into learning about Coding without feeling overwhelmed or intimidated by what I didn't know or by what others do know. I personally loved the format of this workshop-so very well thought out for online learning and Matt is an excellent instructor. This course was the most interesting and challenging for me. Matt definitely has a talent for getting people interested in coding, this workshop was no exception. Of course, there is still a lot to learn in React, but the course was enough to create two projects - Weather and Dictionary. I highly recommend it to everyone who begins to explore React.

SheCodes responsive was straightforward and fun! I loved being able to learn how to make my page responsive and got to laugh at how unresponsive my previous work was and go back and fix it! I knew absolutely nothing about engineering a few weeks ago and now every time I type code and something appears in the webpage I am beside myself. I know that with the material I am learning from Matt I will be able to pivot into the career of my dreams.

This was a challenging one. But I had so much fun pushing myself to keep up and really apply what I had learned. I feel very proud of the weather app that I created. There are things I want to change with it, but for a beginner, I would say that it looks pretty good! But I think its like this, because every lesson is really understandable and basically "chewed" for you you just need to have a passion and desire for it. This introductory workshop really helps understand the basis of html, css and javascript. You learn at your own pace (love that you can speed up training video and pause when needed). I felt engaged owing to the online slack support as well as challenges and homeworks. Also, challenges and homework are great, practice is key in coding to understand how all these languages work together and is needed to actually retain the info (at least for me^^) I loved the format, not too easy not too hard, just challenging enough to want to dig into it more :)!
My third workshop with SheCodes! This responsive workshop was challenging but I really liked it! I got to create my own portfolio website using everything that I learned so far. If you need to build a multi-page responsive website, this workshop is the way t go. I'm looking forward to the next challenge in the React workshop.

The beginners coding workshop was perfect for someone like me, looking to see if coding was something they were interested in pursuing. With no experience in coding at all, the combination of bite-size videos and weekly assignments made it really fun to learn. I've really enjoyed the workshop and I've learned so much in such a short amount of time, thanks to Matt & to the SheCoding team!
I always thought coding would be difficult, but this has really changed my mind. I learnt so much in such a short time, and there is so much you can do with it even with the basic knowledge learnt from this introduction course, it really depends on you and how much you invest your time with it! I will definitely think about doing the next progressive course.
