It was a very good course. The skills I have learned have been very useful to me.
This was a super fun and functional introduction for coding! In merely 3 weeks I learned the basics and got to understand the working of coding in HTML -CSS - JS. I also liked how it is already functional to begin with.
SheCodes introduced me to something I never really thought I could do! I more than enjoyed learning and will continue because of this workshop.
I would highly recommend SheCodes workshop. These courses are a great opportunity to learn new knowledge, enjoying every lesson. Matt Delac explains each topic in a very accessible way, paying attention to every detail to make sure everything works out. Video lessons do not take a lot of time, but the quality of learning is still on the highest level. I had a lot of fun doing challenges and a project. And now I am very excited to move on with SheCodes team!
I thought it was so difficult to learn and practice coding. But, I wanted to give it try, and after practicing almost every day and going through my code to refresh my memory, I definitely felt I have the knowledge and skills of coding when I took the SheCodes Basics. But, this is just the beginning. I'm planning to take the advanced workshops soon!
This was a more intensive workshop than the basic, I am so glad I completed it! Learning the code was challenging at times but, that's when I was more than happy to turn to the internet for a different explanation. Each assignment had me changing my CSS drastically though, the way you can do literally anything with your code is so fun. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to really know coding.

I would highly recommend this workshop to people that wanna easily and fast learn how to code. Each lesson has a challenge that helps learners to completely understand the subject. Also, there is a great community where you can ask for help with your questions and even help others. A friend of mine introduced me to Shecodes and I thought, "Maybe this is something I could do." I found myself enjoying the creative process of coding and realized that I had no concept of time while delving into this new world. I recommend this class to anyone who enjoys learning new things.

Once again, this class was a great introduction into learning how to build responsive webpages. While this topic definitely frustrated me more than previous ones, Matt's teaching and reviews were helpful in cementing the overall knowledge of this function. The Basics Add-On taught me a really important skill: switching between two themes! I enjoyed learning about it and I'm excited to implement it in my future projects. It really allowed me to take my ideas to the next level, especially in the project that I did for this add-on.

I've tried soooo many free coding classes, ranges from live classes to online class. But SheCodes is by far the easiest to understand and the most fun I had in coding. As a multimedia student I was looking for a course to learn HTML from to increase my knowledge on coding and web design, so the SheCodes program was an amazing opportunity for me to develop a new skill. I recommend SheCodes to anyone who works in media-related fields because I believe it's important to gain insight on how the tools we deal with everyday work, and SheCodes is an amazing resource to receive education from and practice with. The lessons are short but highly informative, the deadlines are very flexible and easy to fit in a busy schedule and the community is kind and amazing. Overall a 10/10 experience.
Building a weather app was a fun exercise to get to know working with React. Definitely curious to learn more about it.

As a total beginner, I had a wonderful experience learning how to code for the first time! A very informative workshop with specific hands-on skills provided by an excellent instructor. Just loved it!
So glad I took the Plus workshop. Learning about APIs and how to use pure Javascript to make a search engine were really valuable skills. I feel like I understood about 90% of the material and needed to re-watch a few of the videos a few times to really understand, but they were still easy to follow and I learned much more by the final lesson that I knew while I was struggling in the middle.
I did itππ The learning process did not always went smoothly, but the great platform you guys offer and created for learning made the whole experience simpler and pleasant. The lessons are well organized, the videos are clear and the small and large challenges contributed for a deeper understanding. It was a very useful course. Highly recommend it. Definitely gave me the right information and the strong base from which to continue with my coding adventure. I would like to learn to code to apply it to my design creative process and eventually become good at web designing. For me the tricky part was the java script one. It is very complicated at the beginning and it is still, but I hope to get better.
Amazing as always! I took 4 courses from SheCodes and I'm very impressed by the detailed explanations Matt provides for every topic. It's absolutely incredible to be able to build React applications after a few weeks of learning.

This course was very useful and very easy to follow along. The community on Slack was very helpful when I had any questions along the way, being able to clarify any confusion I had. It was helpful after each lesson being able to breakdown what you learned and apply it with the given examples. I'm eager to be able to learn more.

I have decided to challenge myself and give it a try on the Introduction to Coding course. I've really enjoyed it! It was very challenging but, I kept trying, seeing the results and the amount of things I have learned just in 3 weeks , it's rewarding!

I've been thinking about signing up for the last 2 years. Thankfully, this time I didn't think too much and went ahead. I was afraid of investing in the course and then not being able to do it due to technical difficulties, or not being able to follow the communication in English... But none of that was a problem! There was no problem at all! π HTML was super easy to understand, then I got excited for hours using CSS and finally came JAVA, more challenging, with the "querySelector" that I'm still trying to understand (kidding π). In addition to all the learning, I also learned that I have emojis on my virtual keyboard and that SheCodes is actually a big community that is always connected by Slack where it's really cool to follow the conversations on the channels.

I can't rate this workshop enough. It allowed me to develop my knowledge with no recent experience. The step by step lessons were great and I was able to put the skills to practice. This genius concept has not only allowed me to learn about coding but it has overall boosted my confidence and given me the opportunity to put myself forward for future roles. I am so happy I went through with this workshop. I highly recommend it!
