I attended and completed the SheCodes Basic Course. All sections are well explained in an easy-to-understand way. I did not have any prior coding knowledge, but the learning process was enjoyable. Each lesson is well presented and is sufficiently detailed.

I would highly recommend SheCodes for anyone interested in learning to code! The lessons are easy to follow, Matt is a great instructor, you have a ton of support through the Slack channels, and the semi-self paced nature of the courses provides structure to keep you on track but allows you to work on your own schedule.

Hi everyone!! I am Aleesha Lalit and I am a second year student at IIIT Gwalior pursuing B-tech in Computer Science. I love to explore new domains and learn new skills.Currently , I am doing Data structures and algorithms and am also indulged in exploring Web development as well.

Can't realize these workshops came to an end. Interesting how was it hard in the beginning and not only and how I found out that I'm on the way with React and do like it the most) There's a lot of things I obviously have to learn more but I feel I'm on the railway that is gonna bring me to the right point. I've already tried to pass some job interviews, so hope to find a step for the next door with no long break-up. Thank you guys for this great opportunity to rebuild my current professional life!

I had a really good time learning, it was fun and not stressful. The extensions made it easier as I came across some hurdles on the way. Matt made it very easy and I always looked forward to doing the challenges.

SheCodes Plus was an amazing journey. I was having fun and enjoying building weather app. Everything I've learnt so far just clicked; I was able to debug my code, analyze it and sometimes even write the codes without going over the videos first. I just felt like a real coder! Thanks SheCodes and everyone working hard in this team!

Even with a basic knowledge of front end coding under my belt, I was able to learn a lot of new things. The class and projects are challenging yet fun and the Slacks team and my classmates helped me a bunch when I struggled with a code. Instead of overextending myself, I kept my codes simple like Matt suggested which ultimately helped me not overcomplicate my code and stress myself out.

I have learned a lot of things just in 3 weeks. I love the way shecodes makes you do the exercises. I think this is the best way to learn programming. I enjoyed learning with my team.

After finishing SheCodes Plus I feel much more confident looking into the code and trying to produce it myself. It's still definitely a lot to learn but this course gave me not only an understanding that I can learn to code but also some strong basic knowledge which will make my journey easier. It was not easy but so fascinating to see how your work turns into some real app or webpage. I appreciate all the work Matt and his team have done for creating this project.

I really liked this workshop because it teaches you a lot of skills to build a simple website and gives you the tools to experiment with HTML, CSS and JavaScript and learn so much more!

It was great to dive deeper into CSS and learn additional JavaScript skills. The things I've learned in this course make my work seem so much more sophisticated. I can't wait to learn more and am ready to start the next course!

Very fun and interesting workshop. Very happy with what we have learned. The pace and level of what you learn is also great. However, the videos could be updated and more prepared. They seem a bit "off the cuff", which - for the price of the course - could and should have been avoided. Good support on slack, but it can take time to get the level of support needed - and this led to me having to use extensions unnecessarily. Also, when attempting to fix some parts of the app - we are told that we cannot get support/help to solve this as that is something covered in a later workshop that is not a part of the course I have paid for - this is disappointing. But all in all - a great introduction to coding!

I really liked the SheCodes workshop. Matt kept the lessons easy to understand. He was a great instructor. I also liked that you had always a homework to submit because that keeps you practicing. I once needed help with something and I asked for help on Slack within an hour or so I got an response it was really helpful. The Slack community is great. I think SheCodes is really great for absolute beginners and I would highly recommend it. Before SheCodes I knew completly nothing about coding and now I understand how it works and I want to learn more.

I just wanted to say that you are doing a really good job. I'm glad I learned to code with you. I learned coding very well from your great website and I would love to continue it with you.🥰

I am absolutely in awe at what SheCodes has taught me during this workshop! The challenges after every lesson greatly assisted with my understanding of the concepts taught and once I completed the final project, I really felt a sense of accomplishment! I have definitely learnt a lot more than expected and cannot wait to continue my coding journey with SheCodes.

I was a newbie before joining she codes, and I have learned the bread and butter pieces from she codes. I would not able to learn frontend dev without Matthieu Delac. He is an idol to me.

SheCodes workshop was my first contact with coding and I strongly recommend it! They use a simple language to teach, you have support 24/7 and with the Homeworks you are also able to apply what you have learned by your own. I will definitely enroll to a second workshop soon.

I absolutely loved the SheCodes Responsive Course. Matt is an excellent teacher. Not only did I learn how to make a website more responsive, but I also learned how to make websites more SEO friendly. Cannot wait to move onto the React course.

Great workshop! I finished the three week class in less than a week because I was having fun solving the puzzles and learning something new. It was a bit addictive to be honest. 😊 The pace of the class was perfect. Matt gave us enough information without going too slowly and the homework was challenging without being overwhelming.

Woah 🤯 - can't believe I myself could build a website, though it still looks simple. English is not my first language and my major is definitely not Computer Science. However, the way Matt explaining everything was so neat and clear, which help me a lot and also motivated me to learn more about other things introducing during this workshop. An amazing and intense 3 week course! I've absolutely loved how easy and structured SheCodes have made it. Matt is amazing at explaining everything in simple ways, and the community and help you receive is more than I imagined. Really pleased to have the Basics which will really help me in my job roles, and even as a side hobby. My appreciation for developers really began when I became a Product Manager working in health tech. It was then I realised how much goes into developing a product. As a Product Manager I had to ensure I told the "story" about how users need to be engaging with the product, but had little to no understanding of how the developers actually thought. This basics course with SheCodes has really given me an amazing insight into the developer/coding world. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it certainly has broken a lot of misconceptions that coders are introverts and quiet - The SheCodes community is amazing and I've met extroverts, ambiverts and all kind of personalities whilst learning. For those people who told me I shouldn't and couldn't do this, I DID it and I LOVED it! Thank you SheCodes!

Learned something new to kick off 2023! Matthieu Delac makes it simple for beginners to pick up coding and did a fantastic job providing incremental learning and challenges. I'm so excited to continue upskilling on my coding journey.

Easy to learn, persistent, stress-resistant, not afraid of difficulties.

This was a fun and flexible way to learn the basics.

The lesson is well-structured. I like the way that Matt showed us how to inspect the webpage to create independency in the learning process. The support of the team and peer-learning method are something you won't get from a free ride lesson. He explained in understandable language contrary to trainers who at times just want to sound smart and use sophisticated terms to impress, but the learners didn't understand or grasp the central point of the lesson

So, I took this class while going through a whirlwind of transitions in my life and I had to extend a couple of deadlines but Matt and SheCodes made it so seamless to transition back into where I left off. It was stressful, but that good kind of stress. I learned so much! A truly wonderful class and I can't wait to learn more!

I had seen this program on Tic Tok and decided to try it out and see if coding would be for me. Honestly, I fell in love with it, Matt made everything so easy to follow and it was very easy to learn. Any questions I would have would actually be in the next video I would watch for each course. I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone, any age.

I will first like to point out that I had ZERO experience in coding. When I think of what coding is, I use to think of it was the highest level of the pyramid and that I will never be able to understand it, yet so fascinated by it. So, I give it a chance. Not only that I understand it, but I also enjoyed it. It's hard to learn something that you're scare of on your own, with no physical help. But, SheCodes [Slack] team was very helpful, encouraging and patient with me. I would love to go beyond the Basic course, hence why I choose to continue with SheCode Plus. I loved getting to know better options for responsive webdesign! I definitely loved coding the final project and even though I had some hickups on the way, it's worth pushing through and google is definitely your best friend while learning how to code and even when you already have quite a good understanding on how to do it.

Working on my own website has been absolutely amazing and made me feel empowered and ready to learn more!
