I'm loving my coding journey so far! Learning to code is something I never imagined that I'd be doing as I always considered myself "non-technical". I thought I'd give it a try and I've surprised myself! Matt is a great teacher and the learning process has been highly engaging and fun!

"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." Being a Web Development enthusiast, I was learning from different platforms. However, I realized I wasn't becoming confident of my ideas. With challenges and assignments, SheCodes Workshop helped me to go through my concepts in a much efficient way. I got to apply my design ideas and was able to create a simple page, thereby holding my fundamentals as well. Highly recommended to those who are still looking forward to start on their coding journey.

I would highly recommend Shecodes to my friends, it was an amazing course and I have learnt a lot! I had no idea I would be able to understand how HTML, CSS and Java Script is working. I had a lot of fun during the course, it was very inspiring and intersting!

This course is full of new instruction to develop a project. Really enjoyed learning more about the functionality of JavaScript! Matt was amazing and explains step by step. So learning will be easier with SheCodes!

I learned a lot of how to make responsive pages and websites. I am now more confident to create a space where i can showcase my skills and talents.

This was a fun add on course whicch expanded on some of the techniques learned in basics. It also showed us some ways to make more sophisticated code which was also nice.

It has been quite a challenge! But Matt is trying to make everything as simple as it's possible to explain 🙈.I can just say, that I like to work with React A LOT and gonna continue to learn for sure! I had a lot of Fun! 😃❤️

I really love the Plus Workshop because it forces me to go into greater depth in my learning. Through this workshop, I better appreciate Javascript's dynamism and power! It was useful learning how to make basic API calls because it can enhance our productivity and quality of coding as we extract curated data from credible sources. It was good long journey with she codes. Had some difficulties in some assignments but could get help from my colleagues and mentors from slack. Totally loved the way they taught me. It was all super interesting and easy to learn.

It was a pleasure joining this workshop, everything was taught very precise and easy to learn. I loved the experience and can't wait to use it on my real projects.

I had a lot of fun building this landing page and learned many useful techniques to build even more sophisticated websites.

The SheCodes basic workshop makes learning basic HTML, CSS And JVS extremely easy.

The add-on course was really fun! I was really inspired to explore and try experimenting and learning things on my own.

This was a really great experience. I love how Matt explained everything. I loved the idea of learn then actually practice hands on. I find it very difficult to sit and watch long videos and PowerPoints. I like how Matt broke everything down into smaller categories and provided an opportunity to actually practice after teaching through a short video. I am a hands-on learner and I feel that he catered to my learning style.

Loved learning about building responsive websites and Figma. This was a great class and really built upon the lessons in the first classes. Thank you SheCodes team!

We learned some new things in this workshop and it was a fun project, so I highly recommend it!

The workshop is super well explained. I learned a lot and I would recommend for a good start with code. Although it is very basic.

I loved the beginners course so much I quickly enrolled myself into the plus course! I learned so much more this time around and can't wait to sign up for the next bootcamp through SheCodes. Lessons were easy to understand and the assignments were a great tool to practice and understand the coding language. As a teacher myself, I highly recommend this workshop to anyone uncertain about signing up. It has been the best investment I've made in a long time!

Learned the things I wanted to learn like what is an API and Github. Best thing was that I could ask actual people for help, every time I got stuck and they helped me out real quick.

I have always been so scared of coding, it looks so intense. SheCodes made coding not only fun but easy to understand. I found myself so excited to get to the next lesson and learn more. Matt does an amazing job explaining and breaking down all of the areas you need to code successfully. I do not think I have ever taken a course where the homework didn't feel like homework! With SheCodes the weekly homework assignments just added to the experience. The final project was so much fun to piece together. There were definitely moments I got stuck but Matt is an excellent teacher and prepares you with all of the tools you will need to hand in a successful project! I truly enjoyed the course in its entirety.

And knowing that anytime i needed any help, there was always someone there, no matter how easy or difficult the question was i was never made to feel stupid for not knowing the answer! i would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone! SheCodes, oh my what a wonderful journey I have embarked on. Doing what i love and adore the most is very refreshing, knowingly that you can always go back and see where you went wrong is awesome. I love the way in which this course encourages you to research code and makes you practice what you learn with small challenges. It not only teaches you the basics in really practical ways but also introduces you to practice real life skills that programmers need to build, like looking up answers, researching, inspecting code, and not being afraid of figuring out the answer instead of knowing it right away. I came in with no coding knowledge and yet learned so much in the past three weeks, and found it easy to understand throughout my coding journey. I can now fully say that I am a confident Coder.😎😎

A great introductory course to coding. I found Matt's instructions to be very helpful, even as someone that had no prior background in coding. I would say that the first week is definitely the hardest, but once you grasp the basics, all the information you are learning makes sense and builds upon itself. I also found it helpful to watch the videos and practice the exercises at the same time (kinesthetic learner) and pausing/rewinding when I needed too. Also the extensions were a real life-saver around the holidays! Thanks for including that option!

Within the first 3 weeks, I already had a chance to do smth practical, not just listen to the sessions. And I finally saw that learning coding is possible! Although much effort is required).

The course is well-built and easy to follow. Learning React is challenging but the clarity of tutorials and the assignments help you to understand React step by step. Now that I've completed all the workshops, I strongly recommend them to all who look for a brighter work future.

SheCodes Plus was certainly challenging than SheCodes Basic. I've learned more advanced JS and got to know the process of website hosting. Overall, I enjoyed the process and am happy with my results. Hope to take more coding classes in the future!

Class had good information and concepts, but felt somewhat disorganized. I learned a decent amount for being an intro to basics.

I've always enjoyed creating things and problem solving. After 9 years at my customer service job I was looking to make a change and grow a new skill. I stumbled onto coding while searching online for new avenues. I took a free class on some different sites, found I really enjoyed it and began my journey of learning more. I found SheCodes and took the free class. I've just finished my basics workshop and look forward to continuing forward and become a developer.
