I love how very structured and easy to follow the workshops are! I really longed for a step by step approach, after feeling a bit lost in the overload of YouTube tutorials. So happy I've signed up for the SheCodes PLUS workshop, because with this first taste of coding, I'm eager to learn more!

Its been a long time since ive taken a course that does not involve power point presentation s or watching the instructor read to me. Matt got right into it with "let me show you" followed by "now you do it"...there are also no quizzes but actual mini projects demonstrating you know how to do what he just showed, followed by a final project. This was sort of a refresher for me (i took a coding class over a decade ago) and thank you THANK YOU. I am not sure if I will pursue this (not for me) but what this course did was expand my realm of possibility and give me more confidence to tackle on other online courses. THANK you for making learning exciting again :) I have told several people to just take this course to see and experience what great teaching is just so they can be inspired to take more classes. Great job. Outstanding really.
The workshops were great - easy to follow, and gave plenty of opportunity to test out each of the elements and functions yourself. Great way to challenge yourself and learn something new!

Loved SheCodes Responsive! I have to admit I was struggling with Plus a bit especially after having a 6-month break in between workshops, as I felt rusty at coding. That's why I was adamant taking Responsive right after finishing Plus, and enjoyed much much more and I can genuinely say that was worth every penny. Now I'm onto the next one, and hopefully I'll be able to do some adds-on projects too! Just love the atmosphere here (even it's digital lol) and how learning to code is made so effortless by Matt! Keep up the good work π

SheCodes Plus was an enjoyful learning process. Everything is well explained and relevant. Building a weather app from scratch was a bit challenging but fun nonetheless! Plus course is a great introduction to JavaScript, and it defifnitely makes you eager to learn more.

it was very good and a good way to learn the basics
SheCodes has been a great starting point for me to learn the very basics. It was easy to understand and there were lots of great resources linked throughout that I will continue to use. The projects were simple for a beginner and also allowed for more creativity if you did a little extra research or jumped in and had a bit of fun!
It was a wonderful experience with an exciting project. I learned a lot at SheCodes Plus and really enjoyed the workshops. It was very challenging at times, but very rewarding in the end. The SheCodes Basic course was a great! I learned a lot about the foundation of coding. The videos are very well done and easy to understand and follow the instructions. I found SheCodes enjoyable and easy to navigate. The fact that each learning module was around 6-12 minutes long meant I didn't feel under pressure to commit hours of studying at a time (which is something that usually leads me to procrastinate!) The challenges along the way kept things interesting. I liked the casual way Matt explains things in the video as it feels more approachable and low-pressure than a formal academic approach. I found the first week the hardest and took up the most amount of hours. By the second week I felt more comfortable and there were less modules so I was more motivated to finish the week early. Make sure you leave plenty of time for the homework at the end of each week, I underestimated how it would take me to complete the Week One homework so had to push my start date back. I ended up finishing the entire course a week early after my initial slow start, so there's quite a lot of flexibility when it comes to your learning schedule and deadlines. Overall I would recommend SheCodes. I'm excited and motivated to keep learning!
It was such an amazing opportunity to learn new skill at the end of the day, it was not easy at the beginning but with practice and working on the project decidedly. It tuned out right.
It was quite interesting journey in react world. It something new and unusual at first. The lessons were prepared step by step, with detailed instructions. Of course there a lot of necessary information to learn, but I really thanksful for giving me such an opportunity!
I didn't know what to expect, but the course turned out to be more fun than I could have imagined. So much was learned in the three weeks and it was paced in a way that didn't take over my life. I came here to just try and see something. Now, I may continue on.

Very nice workshop! I enjoyed learning about grids, transform, and other CSS properties! I feel like I'm getting more used to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and it was fun putting the project together using all of those! I love how everything is taught in an easy to understand way and you can always go back to the video to refresh your memory and understand it better. I also really like the challenges and how they give you good practice on doing something you just learned about so you get more knowledge and experience. I feel like I'm learning a lot!

I really enjoyed making this weather-app project! I was able to use many things I learned before as well as learned a lot of new skills and techniques in coding, such as API, GIT, Hosting, etc.

What an enjoyable experience! π As a graphic/website designer I knew the very basics and have "winged" my way up until this point on my own website and learning along the way for client work. I still learnt SO much during this basics course that has given me complete clarity and understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and more confidence in my abilities and work. The classes are super easy to follow and the projects are really satisfying as you can (literally) see the results of your hard work.
