It was the most challenging part from entire SheCodes workshop! I learned really a lot and most satisfying and rewarding thing was to detect my mistakes π€ I am happy and proud to have learned how to code and I am very enthusiastic to continue my journey.

SheCodes Basics was very helpful for someone like me who is totally new in the IT or coding industry. The instructions in each video by Matt were very clear and precise. The basic fundamentals that he taught us in each video were easy to follow and replicate in exercises. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested to learn more coding.
Being a product designer and a polymath, I wanted to better my understanding from a design impact and development standpoint. Upon doing research on how to complete this goal, I came across SheCodes and Iβm so glad I did! The SheCodes basics workshop was exactly what I was looking for and I learned so much!
Great workshop! I had some delays due to illness/moving/life in general, but I got it finished in the end (thanks to extensions!) and am very happy with the result. I love the style of teaching in these videos, and I'm excited to continue on to the next workshop when I have a little more time! Thereβs a lot of information online nowadays that it can be hard to know where to start. SheCodes ended up being a good place for me to start because of how itβs structured. Itβs helpful how each week is broken down into different lessons and challenges, that makes it easier to grasp the different languages you are learning. Itβs awesome to see the results of everything you have learned through your final project. Iβm excited to continue learning.

Incredibly insightful and difficult at times, but SheCodes is helping me learn so much. Looking forward to future workshops and excited to continue coding!
I enjoyed doing the course, however, I didn't learn much. Before this course, I followed another one which was free and lasted one week. It was just a promotional course by a coding Bootcamp to show what kind of things they did in the school. I learned much more that week (and I haven't even finished it) than doing this structured and paid course. Many fundamental aspects are not explained, while some simple things are repeated multiple times. Moreover, the exercises weren't really challenging. I guess it's an okay start if you have zero experience, but the price is still too high for what they teach you. Nonetheless, I have to say that when I asked a question on the chat they answered very rapidly, so great work in that sense.
This course is amazing! I never imagined being Cuban that I would be able to study this career. Thanks to SheCodes and this course I have the doors open to continue learning and developing as a Web Developer. I highly recommend it and many thanks to Matt Delac for being such a good instructor.

I loved working on this project and the freedom to choose any topic we are passionate about. Ever since I remember, I have been inspired by creative people, those who seem to be thinking differently , those who bring fresh ideas in the world, while being immersed in the world. I would highly recommend this course to everyone. I was able to do this course being a mom of two, and with another baby on the way, which I gave birth to while I was taking this course. I learned so much and felt confident in my work and what I learned. I also felt proud to show family what I made while taking this course.

This workshop was a great step-by-step guide on beginner coding! I feel like I have learnt so much in less than 3 weeks - it's incredible. Of course there were moments where I felt overwhelmed, but those were moments. The support you get from your classmates really helped. I am very proud of myself, and I am looking forward to the next process on my journey to becoming an expert in front-end developing.

Absolutely loved the Responsive course. I already did SheCodes Basic and Plus, and Responsive is my favorite one so far! Learning all the Bootsrap tricks, deploying the website to Github, transforming a Figma design into code, and improving overall coding skills really make this programming journey rewarding. I learned a lot and really enjoyed creating the Portfolio webpage, so much that I even created two: my personal portfolio page, and an artist page. The course is very well constructed β the instruction videos by Matt are concrete and easy to follow, and are a really clear explanation for the corresponding homework assignments. When getting stuck, it was really easy to reach out to tutors and get all the help I needed on Slack, a special thanks for that!

My Name is Zainab. after pandemic I felt like working from Home so I tried "She Codes" basic Course to see how coding is done. this course was fun to create. while searching on the web I learned a lot about html, css and Java script. Thank you SheCodes
I knew nothing about React, but I learned a lot from this. I went through the videos and built my site as we went. Then, I tried altering the source code from Matt and building it. I got awesome results and learned a ton both ways. I'd recommend building the app multiple times with different methods for the best results!
With no background knowledge of coding, I'm happy with how far I've come within these past 3 weeks. I now have basic knowledge about coding and can build a single-page website if need be all thanks to the Delac Foundation. I'm grateful to the Delac Foundation for this opportunity to learn to code. I'd highly recommend this program to anyone willing to go into coding, as a beginner or an expert.
It was awesome, I loved the explanation and then the challenge! Besides just the challenge! It's also refreshing; you practice a lot to keep the knowledge. The SheCodes Responsive workshop is very well taught. The lessons are extremely easy to understand and everything is explained in detail, you could take your time in learning how to code and the SheCodes website has a lot of free material that you can use and take inspiration from.
Basics add-on was a nice way to combine everything that I had learned in the basics workshop.

SheCodes gave me the confidence to enter my coding journey with *zero* experience. The lessons are comprehensive and aren't super long which makes it easy to knock out lessons and begin to implement what you've learned. I never saw coding as an "easy" thing to do, but SheCodes makes it incredibly accessible to everyone. So thankful I started this journey and can't wait to continue practicing what I've learned and continue to add my skillset!

One of my favorite things about SheCodes, is the time and content management in sessions. the lessons just long enough to deliver the main idea; after which, you will be able to learn more by spending more time studying the extra references and examples, or keep going on with your current knowledge. The videos are short and sweet and to the point, but to the point and practical; so no more long boring tutorials, but also no more tutorials in which the instructor just doesnβt go through the important steps and leaves you with so many questions and Errors in your code. As someone with a full time job who is also pursuing a masterβs degree, I especially recommend SheCodes and itβs method/system of education to people who struggle to find the time for learning. Also, I already had some coding base, and having seen some other courses and methods, I believe that THIS can be a great place to start for the absolute beginners.

Few years ago I've moved to a different country. I felt stuck, couldn't find my place. Meantime I had a baby and when I had to go back to work I've decided I want to do more and want to learn something new. Luckily I find SheCodes. I can feel I'm able to change my career in a short time. SheCodes is easy to understand and give you all the little tricks what helps to work faster and more efficient.
I am grateful and happy for the opportunity to be able to learn something new and something I thought I never gonna make. It's been fun and interactive. I had such a fun week during the Responsive add-on. I felt I was able to learn something very useful through the real life project which I really love to design, color etc. I can get more creative with these skills and enjoy coding everyday. I don't know what is coming for the React add-on weeks however, I believe I will be happy to learn more!
I really enjoyed learning to make my website more responsive, and I cannot wait to revisit my portfolio once I have completed all the workshops to update my work and make it more my own~

Just completed one more amazing WorkShop from SheCodes: React. It was new and challenging, I followed step by step Matt's lessons and then watched them again and again and redid the project few times but in the end I did it! Thank you for the great opportunity to learn and believe in myself.
I enjoyed learning about different programming languages other than R and Python, having experience in both helped me understand HTML, CSS, and Javascript more easily. I greatly enjoyed the creative aspect of CSS with all of the aesthetics that could be altered for the project. I also both hated and enjoyed functions in JavaScript and enjoyed learning from both Matt and looking for information and tutorials online. This was an enlightening experience and I have to say - more fun than function writing in Python.
I only just recently graduated from university and found myself questioning what the next chapter for me is. As I continued to do so, I bumped into SheCodes, allowing me to expand on other possible future careers I may be interested in. So far I only completed the first workshop which to my surprise was actually really fun and simple to follow thanks to Matt and his very helpful videos. Would strongly recommend SheCodes to anyone that is looking for a website that contains all the sources they need to learn the basics of coding - HTML, CSS etc.
I learned a lot during these 8 weeks, the structure and pace of the course can be challenging but the many interesting exercises make the learning process smoother and help structurize all the newly acquired information and skills. The final project - a practical weather app - helped me further fall in love with coding

I LOVED SheCodes Responsive. It's really exciting to learn how to make content responsive, especially in this mobile device heavy world. It was really fun being able to build a functional personal website as well. As always, Matt did a fantastic job at clearly explaining everything but allowing you to put your own spin on the project as well.
