I decided to come back to coding after doing so many other programs. I just could'nt get it. Until I saw an ad for SheCodes. That's when I knew it was a sign to join. SheCodes Basics was extremely exciting and fun to learn. Very easy to follow.
I will say that as a person with no knowledge in coding, I found it to be an awesome learning experience with my teacher Matt Delac. I thought it would be boring and complicated, but this really changed my mind. The whole challenge made me want to put in more effort. I look forward to more coding experience with SheCodes.

These three weeks of coding have been amazing! As someone who didn't know a thing about coding such as HTML, Javascript and CSS, this has been a great way to educate myself about modern technology. One of my goals this year was to learn a new skill and coding has helped me to achieve this! It seemed challenging at first and I didn't know what the ending to this course would be but I've fallen in love with the skills of problem-solving, logical thinking and new ways of creativity!
The SheCodes Basics workshop has been exciting and informative. I like the incorporation of homework and projects to help learn the concepts by creating personal projects. I'm excited to continue my progress with SheCodes in future workshops!
After this course, I've learnt the essential skills to build highly responsive websites and applications that look great on all sizes of screens and devices, including desktops, tablets and mobile phones. Combining the use of custom CSS and Bootstrap, I'm now one step closer to being a professional frontend developer and UI/UX designer.

Super fun and I learned a lot. Very easy to understand.
Matt is an outstanding instructor! He's very objective and clear in his explanation, the classes are divided in a way that makes the learning super fluid and fun! Despite having a solid foundation in HTML and CSS, I previously struggled with understanding JavaScript. However, Matt's classes, along with the engaging challenges that accompany a lot of classes, have turned JavaScript a lot easier for me.
I learned a lot in SheCodes Plus! It's so satisfying being able to put everything together to create an app. Things really started to click while completing Plus. Some things I struggled with, but I always knew I'd have a way to figure out the answer either through the resources, videos with Matt, or in the slack groups. I really enjoy the structure SheCodes provides. I'm feeling more and more confident.
It was fun learning how to make an weather app from scratch! Now I want to push myself to learn even more things to build that interest me. Thank you SheCodes!!

I always thought that I need to learn maths to be able to code anything and I could never bring to live my projects and ideas until I did my free class, I instantly felt for the satisfaction or writing a code that works even though it was something simple. Now I am very excited for the next challenge that is coming!
I really enjoyed this basic workshop and finished it within a week. I have previous experience in HTML and CSS and I can definitely tell our instructor, Matt explained everything very well. So I can assure people with zero coding experience can follow this workshop without struggles. I have learnt about JavaScript event, prompt and alert in this workshop, too. I really recommend this workshop !

Learning to code was on my checklist and I am happy to check this off. I loved applying the learning from each lesson with an exercise, which also helped to remember them better. From the very first day that I started learning coding with SheCodes, I was excited to build a website with multiple pages based on my design. Another successful SheCodes workshop. Matt has made it so easy to learn how to code as well as troubleshoot so when you hit a bump in the road, you have the necessary tools to solve your own problems. Even if you get really stuck and don't know where to turn, Matts team members are always available to answer questions on our code as well as Athena the brand new coding AI bot.
I'm so glad I enrolled in She Codes. The structure of the workshops are fantastic, I love that I am able to learn when it suits me but with the discipline of a weekly deadline. Everything is explained well and you are given tools to further your learning if needed. This course taught HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The course was well-structured and easy to follow, with fun little projects that kept me engaged and motivated. The course provided a great introduction to web development and gave me the foundation to continue learning. I was a complete beginner before I took this course. The way the courses are laid out with a lesson, challenge and then the solution was so helpful. I had a really great time creating The Godfather website for the responsive workshop. I showcased a lot of past HTML and CSS skills that I have learned from the beginning of the course. This project was a challenge because we weren't allowed to use any frameworks like Bootstrap. everything had to be created with pure HTML and CSS.
Always so much fun, lots of learning and a great experience.
