A fun little project while still learning a lot.

During a one-month vacation in university, I thought it might be fun and useful to learn a bit of coding. I never expected to actually learn as much as I did in such a short amount of time. Definitely impressed myself and I am very thankful to the SheCodes team for making such useful, fun, and most importantly educational content!

This course was challenging but really enjoyable, the videos were super helpful. I have learned a lot, and happy to continue with the add-ons. :)

I just completed a SheCodes Basics workshop, and I can say without a doubt that it was one of the best learning experiences I've had in a long time. The course covered all the essential front-end development skills and provided hands-on practice with each concept. From HTML and CSS and JavaScript, I now have a basic understanding on how to create attractive and interactive web pages. The instructor is knowledgeable and passionate about teaching, and Matt made the learning process engaging and enjoyable. I also appreciated the supportive community of fellow students, who provided feedback and encouragement throughout the course. The SheCodes Responsive Add-on was loads of fun! I enjoyed creating a travel website about my favourite city! I am looking forward to the next Workshop and to finally start learning React.

This 3 week workshop was a bit challenging. However, it was definitely worth taking. I learned so much and I'm so thankful for SheCodes.

SheCodes basics was a fun and well-paced intro workshop that allowed me to pick up concepts quickly and with less confusion. I found myself jumping into lessons to keep the information coming. I was just excited to learn and try the next step. I loved Matt's approach to tackling trickier concepts and found the challenges fun and interesting. I cannot wait to start the next workshop and continue building my skills.

I had a great time learning introductory-level HTML, CSS, and Java Script in SheCodes Basics. I'm now eager to learn even more about coding!

The Plus add-on was very fun and interesting to learn.

Though I read other testimonials, I was still a bit intimidated by the idea of coding. I decided to go all in and have enjoyed learning thus far! Matt explains everything well and takes his time. If at any time a certain coding element slipped my mind I simply looked at my past challenges, homework, or at the lesson itself. I'm looking forward to how much more I will learn.

Really enjoyed this workshop. The teaching style and setup of the workshop was perfect for me, because I am a practical learner. The amount of work that needs to be completed is generally reasonable and challenging enough. I would highly recommend!

I absolutely love the classes! As someone who is new to coding, I was intimidated by the idea of learning a new skill, but the instructors have been incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. The curriculum is comprehensive and engaging, and I appreciate the hands-on approach to learning. I have already gained so much confidence in my coding abilities and feel well-equipped to tackle complex projects.

I have never been tested so much mentally honestly. A really beautiful yet challenging experience. I had to rewatch a lot of videos multiple times as the level was quite higher than that of SheCodes basics. I learnt so much and feel much comfortable with javascript now. It was really exciting to see my app fully functioning, thank you so much to Matt and the entire sheCodes team.

As someone who learned a bit of front-end programming by myself, my knowledge were shallow. This course helped me a lot to understand codes that I used to copy & paste without realizing why. It was great to contain many challenges.

I was very excited to start this course and it did not disappoint! The lessons are easy to follow and less than ten minutes each so you do not feel overwhelmed with information and most lessons have a challenge to try out what you have just learned. The homework and projects were a fun way to bring together all the coding skills picked up in the lessons. I would recommend this course to anyone starting out in web-development!

You are very cool. The only thing I didn't like a little was that the first week's homework required using the element for three squares when hovering. We were not taught how to do this, and I tried to do it in known ways for a very long time. I tried to combine the elements in a clever way. And here is just a function that we did not learn.

I always thought that coding was super tricky, but SheCodes is excellent! I have learned so much in a short time.

This is a great course to get myself familiar with HTML and CSS fundamentals and boosted my knowledge in knowing the syntax that is used in HTML5 these days since I learnt the likes of XHTML during my Uni course and learning JavaScript through the workshop really boosted my understanding so working by handcoding or with Content Management Systems such as Wordpress would be a blessing so I can debug some code that was not working, etc. It is a great way the fundamentals to help you find suitable work with these skills and knowledge.

This was a really interesting and challenging journey. I have learnt many new things from this workshop.

I had no idea of coding before starting this course, and now I know more than ever. I cant wait to get going to the next level soon and learn more on Shecodes.

My first 3 weeks with SheCodes has been quite the ride, I was very new to the world of coding with very little experience and there was a lot of information that I had learn and it was overwhelming, but I feel as though there is room for me to get better at this craft as long as I push myself harder. SheCodes allowed me to learn a new skill at my own pace while going to school full time, it was great being able to learn from the videos and activities, while getting help with troubleshooting from the SheCodes team.

I had great experience using this platform. I tried other sources to learn how to code but none of them did it the way SheCodes did. After i watched the videos i understood everything much better and it didn't seem so complicated anymore. The assignements they give you after every subject are so helpful. U used what you just learned and put into practice right away.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the SheCodes workshop and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in coding and web development. The workshop was very interactive, which allowed us to have a lot of hands-on experience. We were able to practice what we had learned by building our own websites and projects. Such a great course! I learnt so much! The important aspects of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript were taught very well through bitesize videos, rather than tutorials that were hours long. This made the experience less overwhelming and the information easier to digest. Great for those with shorter attention spans! The structure of the curriculum made it easy to refer to past videos when working on a later project. This course has provided me with a solid foundation to build upon.

I have always wanted to do something in IT, but didn't know what until I came across SheCodes! I have really enjoyed learning to code. I started this course with zero knowledge or experience. There were times when I felt like an imposter but I took notes, referred back to them constantly, and rewatched videos. I signed up to SheCodes so that I could expand my knowledge on a brand new skill to me. Recently, I have realised that I was no longer learning anything new within my retail job so I decided to take on the challenge of coding and so far I am really enjoying it! I was skeptical as to whether I would understand anything but so far, I am impressed with how much I have learnt. Thanks to the in depth lessons provided by Matt, I have made a silly, but functioning page which I am pretty pleased about.
