I'm enjoying learning to code through SheCodes. Being able to set my own pace, with weekly deadlines, has made it possible for me to fit it in with my busy schedule.

Another exciting project with a very steep learning curve. Challenging and rewarding.

SheCodes Basics Add-On was a nice complement of the Basics Workshop. It allowed me to recap some functionalities and , at the same time, learning new one.

This journey was such a great experience, and the time limit for each project was what makes it very helpful .Surely there is still a lot to learn and I'm very happy that I have joined this workshop!

I have a digital marketing degree but have always wanted another skill to distinguish myself from others. Hence, I have taken up coding despite having no prior experience. This course has really helped me improve and refine my capabilities as a beginner coder and I could not be happier! Javascript was a bit trickier and sometimes frustrating, but it was the right kind of difficult to help one improve upon their skills. The videos from lessons were always detailed and easy to follow as well. In the worst-case scenario, the Slack group was very useful in me solving any difficulties I had. There are many tools at one's disposal in the event that they are stuck on anything. I learned a lot in the past couple of weeks and would recommend this course to anyone wishing to learn code!

This course was really fun and engaging. Looking forward to learn more now! I'm pleased 🤩

SheCodes Plus is the perfect course for anyone who wants to learn the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The lessons follow a logical structure and it was nice to get to build my own weather app one step at a time.

The shecodes workshop basic was absolutely amazing for people who want to learn coding and the instructor ,Mr.Matt is actually fluent in teaching technical lessons and I could learn html and css and java basics which never going to be forgotten 😀 . Thanks to shecodes team for being responsiveness and I appreciate their patience for answering all questions 🙏.

Through the workshop I gained both the skills and confidence to code. I know more than when I first started the workshop. I'm excited to learn more and gain new skills.

I have tried to learn to code a couple of times before but could never get into it. I signed up for SheCodes Basics on a whim, thinking a little bit of HTML knowledge might help me in my current role, but I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did - so much so that I am seriously considering changing careers! The way it is taught makes all of the difference. Short, well-explained, bite-sized lessons followed by practical exercises really help solidify what you are learning and make it fun and interesting. Plus, no maths in sight! I could not recommend the course enough!

SheCodes is brilliant! This course is challenging but so well constructed, I really didn't believe how much I could learn in such a short period of time.

I've learned that there's so much to learn, and that is a wonderful thing.

Really enjoyed this course. I definitely want to do more study on React programming. It was my favourite of the four courses that I have completed with SheCodes.😁 HIghly recommend SheCodes as an excellent way of learning a complicated subject!

It's a good refresher course if you have learnt abit of HTML & CSS. On top of that, learning JavaScript for the first time was easy & fun to follow/learn. Overall, a very good introduction course to coding.

I have really enjoyed this workshop and learnt a lot.

I started SheCodes while I was home very sick, alone, and dwelling in my all to common desperation for change. Mainly change from my unfulfilling and physically taxing job. SheCodes was the new and exciting change I had hoped for and would love nothing more than to continue to learn and grow as a coder. I truly feel this is the change I was looking for.

This workshop was easy to follow because lessons were split in a practical and convenient way, which made is so fun to learn. Can't wait to continue the journey with Matt and other SheCodes team members.

I can't believe that I finally finish all the workshops from Basics to React in just a few months! React is one of the latest requirement for web development. I'm proud to start learning it in SheCodes. Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team for helping and teaching women like me who wants to build up coding skills while working at the same time. The support team has been a great help for any technical issue during the process. All the lessons, challenges, support and the community contribute a fun, direct, challenging and exciting overall learning experience. I think this is one of the best investments I made up for myself!

I cannot believe I was able to do this. Through the help of the amazing SheCodes team, community, and of course the guided instruction, I was able to code something more complex than I ever thought capable. While I know my coding could be more efficient, I'm excited that I'm going to be continuing to learn for some time!

Initially, I was afraid that I couldn't keep up because I'm a total beginner. To my surprise, the instructions in the video lectures are very easy to follow! The more I learn, the more I'm looking forward to learning new ways to code. Creating my project from scratch is a total eye-opener and it definitely has helped me to be more confident in coding my website going forward.

I approached SheCodes because I wanted a change of career, I have always been fascinated about coding and everything it entails. SheCodes has helped me develop this interest as well as enlighten and piqued my interest to want to know more. It's been a great learning process so far and definitely not as complicated as I've previously thought. One thing I liked was the teaching experience, Matt Delac is a really good teacher. Starting this course I did not believe in my self enough that I would be able to go this far into looking for certifications to be a full stacker. Until I decided to take this course for SheCodes. In taking the time to not only try but to be more intentional to get the work done; I gained hope in my self that maybe i could learn this skill to show myself patience and dedication . Towards the end of this course, I still showed doubt in being able to learn the skill to accomplish the Weather App. Until I was told today to not give up and to finish my certification. Now I have a certification because of this person and finish what I started because this person gave me the push that I needed to not give up. Thank you SheCodes for the opportunity to have this certification to finally accomplish what I have always wanted to do. That is to finish what I have started.

Matt's lessons are easy to follow and very complete. It's great that you have challenges to do after almost each lesson because that allows you to put in practice what you have learnt previously. So yes, I would absolutely recommend this workshop!

I have been waiting to find a course to learn coding. I swear Matt has perfected his teaching practices to the point where I feel like he is reading my mind. As soon as I begin to question the training, he stops, explains, and I am right back on track. The slack community rounds out the amazing and supportive environment this workshop/course brings. I really enjoyed learning code with SheCodes. The lessons were well blocked so I could stop and start as many times as I needed to. The way it's organized made it easy to go back and re-learn concepts I needed help with or just to check myself. I had a lot of fun and hope to be back for more!

I decided to start SheCodes a few months ago when considering a career shift from nursing. I started with SheCodes Basics and loved it! I signed up for SheCodes Pro and just finished the SheCodes Plus portion. I will admit, JavaScript has been challenging to learn since I started with zero knowledge about coding, but Matt makes it so fun and explains it really well. Not only am I learning completely new computer languages, but Matt is also teaching real world coding skills. While this weather app has been very challenging at times, there has always been resources to help me solve the problem when I get stuck. And I'm very proud of my final product! SheCodes uses a very creative way of teaching you how to code, with real-life examples like the SheCodes' website itself. I really enjoyed this course and would recommend it to anyone interested in learning how to make their own website.

What a fun yet challenging course this has been! For someone with no knowledge of coding, I found myself enjoying this course. I believe these past 5 - 6 months were like a rollercoaster. Till I was focusing on the structure and the design, it was easy, and enjoyed it a lot, when we dived into JS or react - I need to be honest with myself - I often just wanted to survive somehow. One thing is sure though, I learned a lot and developed my skills, let myself time and space when I got fed up, and got hungry for the knowledge of UX and design, so probably that is more for me. We are here to learn and get to know ourselves, so the mission is completed. I am grateful for the entire SheCodes team, thank you for your support!

This Add on helped me learn more about CSS and Javascript

I gained how to switch between two themes, which is a really useful ability from The Basics Add-On. It was fascinating to learn about, and I can't wait to use it in my upcoming projects. I encountered some obstacles, but I got beyond them. I must admit that Javascript still causes me some discomfort, but I'm looking forward to the challenge. I enjoyed how Matt explains various methods; he doesn't simply demonstrate the code; he actually explains the reasoning behind it. I am looking forward to SheCodes Plus!

I truly enjoyed to learn more from Basic Add-on as I was looking forward to the next subject to learn after React weeks finished. It was nice chance to go back to Basic weeks to refresh my memory with some fun challenges and project.

I really enjoyed this workshop. It was a love-hate relationship with bootstrap when I first learned it during the SheCodes Plus. However, after these responsive sessions- I get it, and I can't get enough of bootstrap. The final project really encouraged me to attempt to design and build a starter portfolio that I am really proud of. I can't wait to continue learning and just making new projects and improving my old ones.

Nice add on, you can learn new tricks and functions that are very important to make your website more interesting and professional.

Great and interesting course. Step by step you build your own project by using your knowledge from the Basic Course and learning new things.

Really enjoyable add-on learned a little more than I used to know to get to cover a little of what we did before.

Before SheCodes, I had couple of attempts for learning programming but nothing really worked for me as I found it really boring and not that easy. But SheCodes changed my mind. The way Matt teaches programming is absolutely amazing in a way that not only learning becomes easy, but also the challenges become fun and exciting. SheCodes team also did an outstanding job having our back any time I had a question about something. Their replies were all quick and clear. I just can't wait to continue learning coding and programming with SheCodes! ❤️
