The lesson is well-structured. I like the way that Matt showed us how to inspect the webpage to create independency in the learning process. The support of the team and peer-learning method are something you won't get from a free ride lesson. He explained in understandable language contrary to trainers who at times just want to sound smart and use sophisticated terms to impress, but the learners didn't understand or grasp the central point of the lesson
So, I took this class while going through a whirlwind of transitions in my life and I had to extend a couple of deadlines but Matt and SheCodes made it so seamless to transition back into where I left off. It was stressful, but that good kind of stress. I learned so much! A truly wonderful class and I can't wait to learn more!

I had seen this program on Tic Tok and decided to try it out and see if coding would be for me. Honestly, I fell in love with it, Matt made everything so easy to follow and it was very easy to learn. I will first like to point out that I had ZERO experience in coding. When I think of what coding is, I use to think of it was the highest level of the pyramid and that I will never be able to understand it, yet so fascinated by it. So, I give it a chance. Not only that I understand it, but I also enjoyed it. It's hard to learn something that you're scare of on your own, with no physical help. But, SheCodes [Slack] team was very helpful, encouraging and patient with me. I would love to go beyond the Basic course, hence why I choose to continue with SheCode Plus. I loved getting to know better options for responsive webdesign! I definitely loved coding the final project and even though I had some hickups on the way, it's worth pushing through and google is definitely your best friend while learning how to code and even when you already have quite a good understanding on how to do it.
Working on my own website has been absolutely amazing and made me feel empowered and ready to learn more!

IT'S GREAT! It's good to be challenged and pushed to work things out for yourself, the instructions are clear and with a clear head they make perfect sense. Matt's videos are to the point and very useful when you focus. Seeing an end product at long last is very rewarding and I will be taking time to improve on it as I learn more in the next workshop!
She codes breaks down their lessons into easy to follow steps. I have previously tried to learn to code throgh university and they overload two much info into one lesson. Definely recommend.

I am really glad that I decided to subscribe to the basic workshop because now I have definitely a clear idea about the coding world! I am even considering enrolling in the more advanced courses even if I would like to transition to UI/UX Design so I am not required to know it all, but the structure and learning material is so well done and interesting that I would like to learn more!

After completing almost all SheCodes workshops (including React), the Responsive workshop has to be one of my favorites! I learned so many more CSS, and Bootstrap skills that the other workshops lacked, and I feel that I can apply what I learned here across various areas in the future. I do wish I had taken the Responsive workshop before I took the React workshop (my initial package didn't include the Responsive one), as the Responsive taught me so many excellent skills that I wish I could apply to the latter. I highly recommend this workshop and SheCodes overall!

Learning how to code sounded incredibly difficult and I doubted I could learn, but I took a leap of faith and advice from a close friend. SheCodes makes learning coding extremely approachable and easy to follow along. Deadlines exist to keep you accountable for yourself, but there are options for deadline extensions. Also, there's a huge community of fellow students and tutors that are only a message away.

Hi. My name is Abbey Grant, and I am a second-year college student from Chicago, Illinois. I had a great time learning the basics of coding. I got interested in coding from a high school computer class and decided to try while I have the winter break off. It was a nice way to spend my time with not having any winter college classes. Although it was sometimes frustrating when I couldn't figure out what was wrong with my code and how to fix it, I got excited every time I figured out how to fix it. I will definitely be increasing my coding skills with more classes in the future.
This is a great experience and I learned a lot about front-end development. I look forward to the next course and using what I have learned in future endeavors.

A great experience, what I have been trying to learn for years, here IΒ΄ve learned it in only a month. Every lesson had the exact explanation without going much into detail. The practical side is a plus because with coding you have to practice nonstop. Also, the projects were difficult but itΒ΄s the best method to learn with projects that you have to think about and try every CSS and Html tag. It made coding fun than seeing a bunch of tags all rounded up in columns. Highly recommended!

I have been learning Python for about two years. Until I got acquainted with shecodes courses and after 2 week , I realized that I am more interested in the front-end language than the back-end. This course has step-by-step training and also Challenges and scheduled assignments make me want to finish the course sooner and want to learn more.

I have been interested in learning to code for a while but I was not sure which program to choose.
