Another successful SheCodes workshop. Matt has made it so easy to learn how to code as well as troubleshoot so when you hit a bump in the road, you have the necessary tools to solve your own problems. Even if you get really stuck and don't know where to turn, Matts team members are always available to answer questions on our code as well as Athena the brand new coding AI bot.
I'm so glad I enrolled in She Codes. The structure of the workshops are fantastic, I love that I am able to learn when it suits me but with the discipline of a weekly deadline. Everything is explained well and you are given tools to further your learning if needed. Matt is a great teacher and you are given access to many modes of support so your questions and queries will never go unanswered. I've just finished the first workshop and I am looking forward to continue my journey into coding with she codes!

This course taught HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The course was well-structured and easy to follow, with fun little projects that kept me engaged and motivated. The instructors on Slack were knowledgeable, available to answer any questions I had and being able to talk to the community was great. The course provided a great introduction to web development and gave me the foundation to continue learning. Overall, I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning to code and developing their web development skills.
I'm always trying to learn new skills to keep myself competitive in my career. I didn't know much about coding at first, but I'm so glad I chose to learn through SheCodes. The course was fun, and Matt is an excellent teacher! Hopefully I'll be able to take more SheCodes courses in the future. I love coding!

This course was both challenging and engaging. I started as a complete beginner, looking to gain skills to prepare myself to transition from finance into tech. I was a complete beginner before I took this course. The way the courses are laid out with a lesson, challenge and then the solution was so helpful. It really made you understand the lesson and then use it in real time which I think made it really sink in. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn to code!

I had a really great time creating The Godfather website for the responsive workshop. I showcased a lot of past HTML and CSS skills that I have learned from the beginning of the course. This project was a challenge because we weren't allowed to use any frameworks like Bootstrap. everything had to be created with pure HTML and CSS.
Always so much fun, lots of learning and a great experience.

Absolutely loved the entire journey of learning and practicing as I go. This course has made me look at every single thing on the internet differently and I find myself looking at elements on web pages and thinking "hey I know how to do that in CSS". I'd definitely recommend this as a great introductory course.
The React course was definitely the most challenging one and surely a great end to the four main courses. To see a little preview of the long way ahead of me makes me want to learn more and more. A half a year ago I would never dreamed of myself as someone who can look at a source code of a page and actually understand how things were built, it is quite amazing!

Each workshop gets better, more challenging, and more interesting. You learn so much in each lesson that it's hard to believe how much you learn in a short period of time. This workshop took me 1 week (part-time) and it taught me so much. Thank you Matt Delac and the SheCodes team for all you guys do to help educate the world's future coders and developers. I enjoyed every minute of this, and highly highly recommend it.

Learning how to code through shecodes basics workshop has been a really great experience and journey altogether. I cannot believe how Matt makes it so easy to learn how to code, the multiple challenges and interactive videos make it easy for us to follow and implement what we learn as we go. My confidence in my abilities went from zero to almost 100% when it came to applying the concepts taught. I would recommend this course to all women around the world it is truly worth it.

I feel incredibly accomplished in further expanding my coding knowledge with Matt's teachings and building such a fantastic application from the SheCodes React workshop. In this journey, I was able to integrate everything I've learned into such an elegant language. I feel so equipped to build more dynamic React sites like the Weather Application in the future.
It was an exciting seminar. It was not easy, I spent many nights at the computer looking for my mistakes, but the solution was always found. And the result is always pleasing. Now we have an Athena. I hope it will be very helpful and make the process of finding small bugs much easier. And I definitely learned not to give up, because the solution is always easier than it seems!)
This was a real and exciting journey! I learnt so many thing, i can't even begin. The best part is your can watch your progress step by step. I don't think I would have learnt the same without the wonderful Matt! He is inspiring, true, calm, funny and very professional.

All homework instructions are clear, in addition, I like homework because it always has a little secret and you need to use your brain to do it.
I am a girl high school who has a dream to learn as much code as I can. Before SheCodes I never had much experience at all, this was great for teaching me basics and now I know how I can build off of it. The SheCodes curriculum structure is great for a beginner like me, learning each new skill and element in a practical way that made sense and could be applied to real-world situations. A great balance between having step-by-step instruction and independent problem-solving. The website has some amazing free resources too which are fun to explore, already have some ideas for future mini projects. Looking forward to starting SheCodes Plus and learning more!

Awesome introduction to React! It was great fun rebuilding the weather Application with React this time and learned so much about the React framework in the process. It's wonderful to see how same results can be achieved through different ways. I would recommend these work shops because of the Simplified explanations, the homework and challenges.
When I first heard of "SheCodes" was on Instagram. I literally ignored it, I didn't know what it was exactly. When I saw it again on my feed, I saved it. Never looked back until December of 2022. I follow people on Instagram that does coding and I was always a fan of coding, I just didn't know exactly "How to code?". Since I like to learn new things, I decided I would give it a go. I did, started with Basic. I don't know but "I fell in love!" It's amazing how coding turns everything beautiful. I'm glad I gave it a go, now I can't wait to go higher and learn way more.
