You are very cool. The only thing I didn't like a little was that the first week's homework required using the element for three squares when hovering. We were not taught how to do this, and I tried to do it in known ways for a very long time. I tried to combine the elements in a clever way. And here is just a function that we did not learn.

I always thought that coding was super tricky, but SheCodes is excellent! I have learned so much in a short time.
This is a great course to get myself familiar with HTML and CSS fundamentals and boosted my knowledge in knowing the syntax that is used in HTML5 these days since I learnt the likes of XHTML during my Uni course and learning JavaScript through the workshop really boosted my understanding so working by handcoding or with Content Management Systems such as Wordpress would be a blessing so I can debug some code that was not working, etc. It is a great way the fundamentals to help you find suitable work with these skills and knowledge.
This was a really interesting and challenging journey. I have learnt many new things from this workshop.
I had no idea of coding before starting this course, and now I know more than ever. I cant wait to get going to the next level soon and learn more on Shecodes.

My first 3 weeks with SheCodes has been quite the ride, I was very new to the world of coding with very little experience and there was a lot of information that I had learn and it was overwhelming, but I feel as though there is room for me to get better at this craft as long as I push myself harder. Matt was a great instructor, he was able to make me understand everything better and I am proud of my first project.
I'm finishing SheCodes Basics with the urge to learn more. I feel empowered and glad to see that coding is not that hard! I enjoyed every minute of this experience!

SheCodes allowed me to learn a new skill at my own pace while going to school full time, it was great being able to learn from the videos and activities, while getting help with troubleshooting from the SheCodes team.

I had great experience using this platform. I tried other sources to learn how to code but none of them did it the way SheCodes did. After i watched the videos i understood everything much better and it didn't seem so complicated anymore. The assignements they give you after every subject are so helpful. U used what you just learned and put into practice right away.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the SheCodes workshop and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in coding and web development. The workshop was very interactive, which allowed us to have a lot of hands-on experience. We were able to practice what we had learned by building our own websites and projects. I also liked that the workshops provided us with helpful resources such as cheat sheets and reference materials, which I found very useful.

Such a great course! I learnt so much! The important aspects of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript were taught very well through bitesize videos, rather than tutorials that were hours long. This made the experience less overwhelming and the information easier to digest. Great for those with shorter attention spans! The structure of the curriculum made it easy to refer to past videos when working on a later project. This course has provided me with a solid foundation to build upon.
It was a great experience to start learning coding with this course! If you're new in this field, like me, be sure that you have a step-by-step guide through basic HTML, CSS, and JS in an amazing community of instructors, mentors and students. I have always wanted to do something in IT, but didn't know what until I came across SheCodes! I have really enjoyed learning to code. I am not the best with learning, I am more of a visual leaner, I can understand better with pictures and videos, and Matt has made it easy and enjoyable to do so! I started this course with zero knowledge or experience. There were times when I felt like an imposter but I took notes, referred back to them constantly, and rewatched videos. After watching myself apply the information I was learning, I was was truly amazed at how much I was retaining in such a short amount of time. I'm excited to keep going and learn more!

I signed up to SheCodes so that I could expand my knowledge on a brand new skill to me. Recently, I have realised that I was no longer learning anything new within my retail job so I decided to take on the challenge of coding and so far I am really enjoying it! I was skeptical as to whether I would understand anything but so far, I am impressed with how much I have learnt. Thanks to the in depth lessons provided by Matt, I have made a silly, but functioning page which I am pretty pleased about.

I have always wanted to learn how to code and have tried self learning but never found the right place to start. This was a great introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript and I have learned so much in a short time with the weekly projects and deadlines.

I thought that I would not like coding but I was happily surprised that not only did I enjoy it but I also learned some valuable skills along the way!
I really enjoyed being able to create a functional weather application with SheCodes Plus! There were a lot of points where I felt we only hit surface level, especially with JavaScript. I found myself having to research a lot of concepts on my own. I feel like my understanding of functions, parameters, objects, and arrays are still elementary, but perhaps this is all part of the learning process. Start with small bites and dig deeper as we go and learning to help yourself. I played around with using the old API and the new one provided by SheCodes and feel like I have a good grasp on API integrations though. All in all this was a good beginner course and maybe I just need to review the course again.
Before I got acquainted with SheCodes, I always thought that learning programming was very difficult, but with the help of SheCodes, I learned very well. I really enjoyed this course.

I've thoroughly enjoyed the Basics add-on course. I completed the Basics course last year and this add-on was great to refresh my memory of the basics as well as learn some new tips and tricks!
It was a fun learning experience, I think Matt is an excellent instructor.Clear, concise and to the point no confusion at all.
I had problems in first weeks but I learned after try hard and thanks to Matt how teach very good with lots of examples in each parts so I really enjoy the classes.
Building a project step by step along with Matt has been great, I'm really proud of my work! However, two main challenges I had with SheCodesPlus: 1. The JavaScript concepts are oftentimes not thoroughly explained, it remains for the most part quite superficial, you WILL need to dig deeper on your own. I personnally studied with a bunch of Youtube videos and a Codecademy course in parallell. 2. Towards the end of the project, everything revolving around API needs to be updated. In Matt's video, he uses an older API than the one you're supposed to use. So it's quite tricky to follow his steps and understand everything. The Slack chat can be really helpful in this moment, which is very nice. All in all I'm happy with my work, happy with my progress, and the support on Slack is great. But I remain slightly disappointed by the video courses which left a lot of questions unanswered. That's the beauty of code, you might say. The learning never stop!

SheCodes is a one of a kind coding bootcamp. I am really impressed with the ways the lessons are taught. From basic HTML, CSS, and JS to the final project, I can say that I learned things from this. Given that I got the course for free, this is a good foundation for me to continue in coding. SheCodes is a good platform for everyone, beginner to expert. From their good videos to their new AI feature, Athena, who helped me in some of my codes. Thank you SheCodes team and Matt for giving me this opportunity.
