Initially, React was a little tough to follow along with, being that it was new to me. As always, Matt explains things in a way that just makes you get it. This is the most effective workshop to understand the basis of development. I was searching on Google and it's difficult to find the motivation online, since the topic is a little bit scary and confusional. The best thing about Shecodes is that you find motivation. Everything is clear and you will have the need to learn more.
Taking part in SheCodes has been a great experience for me. For example, I've had the opportunity to learn coding in a supportive environment with other women and have gained valuable skills that I can use in my future career. This course is highly recommended because I love the way Matt teaches. Furthermore, the course has given me the confidence to pursue coding as a hobby, furthering my understanding of the subject and developing my problem-solving skills.

SheCodes is a really good program to learn for development. I started this program before I enrolled in college for information technology and it was very helpful. Because I already learned the basics using SheCodes, I was able to excel in my website development class. 10 out of 10 recommend!

I was initially interested in the workshop to familiarize myself with coding and enhance my work with software and game localization. I am now much more confident to work with software-related projects, all thanks to the practical skills I learned in this course.
Easy to follow along and learn. Mind you however: The 3 weeks will not get you fluent in the coding language, it will take longer to get routed and comfortable. Nevertheless, would def. recommend to beginners!

Studying coding with SheCodes has been a fantastic experience for me. I just started two weeks ago and knew nothing about coding. After two weeks I am delighted to say that I confidently have learned the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. These classes are full of fun, intrigue, and sometimes intensity. I mean intensity, positively. The pre-recorded lessons are excellent. However, video recordings alone are not enough to convey information. Hence, in order to learn faster, you need to listen attentively, take notes, and practice rewriting codes repeatedly. In spite of the fact that I only asked one question and found the solution before receiving a reply from the team. There is no doubt in my mind that the SheCodes team is awesome. Their support is always available to students, and students can count on them at any time. Prior to enrolling in the course, I had a lot of doubts about whether I should invest money in SheCodes. As a result of taking the classes covered in the first three weeks, I can say without a doubt that this has been the most valuable investment I have ever made. In addition to that, I also had concerns about payment and wrote an email to Matt elaborating on this topic. Upon receiving a response, I was offered a discount and the option of making monthly payments, which was very comforting for me. As a side note, I'd like to mention that I was neither paid nor pressured to write this testimony. It was entirely my wish to do so. (My motivation for writing this sentence is because I found some upsetting YouTube videos that were misrepresenting the SheCodes course)! Thank you, SheCodes for creating such an incredible course. Learning about SheCodes, was one of the best things that have happened to me. This was a fantastic introductory course to coding! Each lesson has the perfect amount of material covered, and you can go at your own pace. The exercises that followed the lessons helped put the learnings into practice, while also providing solutions so you can correct or improve your work if needed. Highly recommend!

Great place to learn about responsive design, how to make your website to look great on any device and any screen size. I've leaned so much about building fast, responsive sites with Bootstrap and CSS media queries.

As a complete beginner with no prior knowledge in coding, I was initially intimidated by the thought of learning how to code. However, the course I took was designed in a way that made it easy to understand even for someone with no background in coding. The lessons were well-structured and the instructors were very patient in explaining the concepts. The course started with the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and gradually built upon that foundation, allowing me to gradually gain confidence in my abilities. The course also provided plenty of hands-on exercises and projects, which helped me to apply what I had learned and solidify my understanding. Overall, the course was a great introduction to the world of coding and I feel much more comfortable diving deeper into coding.

The first time coding was brought to my attention, I thought to myself that it was going to be extremely difficult. Since, I am a person who loves a challenge, I went for it. When I decided to use SheCodes as my learning platform, I was nervous. But, after the first lesson, I knew I made the right decision. Matt's teaching style is definitely very clear to understand and follow. Especially for individuals who have never seen coding before. In the 2nd week, I started to doubt if I could really do this or not. And this was because I caught myself getting stuck on challenges. I started to feel intimidated. After reaching out for help from other students and SheCodes staff, I gained my confidence and excitement back. Coding so far is fun and very interesting. I loved how SheCodes had short videos that didn't feel overwhelming and you could watch at your own time. There is always help available when you need it but I think when your code is not working and giving you the result you want, trying to figure out what is wrong helps you learn better! Matt is a great instructor that makes coding really fun and exciting. Would definitely recommend this course!

SheCodes basics was a good way to revise the few things I had learned here and there with HTML, CSS, and Javascript. It solidified my basics and I learned new things too. The videos are clear and easy to follow, and it gives me a lot of motivation to continue learning. The deadline given for every homework is a really good way to stay motivated!

The SheCodes basic course gave me confidence that I could excel in a programming course. This was a super cool experience! I always found it difficult to learn CSS and JavaScript, and SheCodes made it straightforward to learn.
SheCodes makes learning really fun with a great balance of theory, practicals and code-a-long videos. I've found that the structure of the lessons has helped me to pick up concepts quickly and you do feel you have achieved something each week with the homework tasks. I've also picked up lots of tools and tips that aren't necessarily taught in other self-learning platforms I've tried.
When I showed a friend my project, asking for feedback, she dropped her jaw and said "I never imagined that I would know someone capable of doing these things, for me it's something out of a movie!" - and this is exactly how I feel. I never thought I would be able to learn to build something so complex in such little time... and it's just the start!
