After completing SheCodes Basic Bootcamp, I must say that it was an incredible experience. I had always been interested in coding, but I was intimidated by the idea of learning it on my own. However, SheCodes made it easy and accessible. The course was well-structured, and the instructors were knowledgeable and patient. The lessons were broken down into manageable segments, making it easy to understand and apply the concepts. Additionally, the practice exercises and projects were challenging yet rewarding, providing ample opportunities to apply what I had learned.
Through Shecodes workshops, there is always something more to learn and I am really appreciative of having the chance to get attend these workshops. I am so excited to start the next workshops and as always, I strongly recommend Shecodes to everyone π©π»βπ»

Before joining SheCodes, I had no idea what coding was. And because of that I anticipated it would be challenging to learn or even understand, but Matt made it simple to comprehend. All I had ever known was science, and I never in a million years imagined that I would be here today writing code. I can state with confidence that I know what HTML, CSS and Javascript basic is and I can create websites, not yet professional, but I do know a few things. All I can say is that I'm eager to study more and develop my skills because the future looks too promising. Who knows, maybe I, a South African woman, might return and claim that I also work for Google. Crazy right!

I learned a lot of new things, I was a little bit afraid in the beginning since I was starting with zero knowledge but at the end it was so fast, easy and fun. And the team support from Slack it's amazing, they helped me a lot with my project.

With the coding knowledge that I have gained within the past few months, it's as if I can see behind the curtains of some apps now. I'm picturing what the HTML looks like and wondering how they got the font that is being used. In all honesty, coding seemed a bit intimidating, because the art of learning new things has never come easy for me, due to dyslexia. But the love of puzzles has pushed me through, whenever I broke my own codes. If it wasn't for the SheCodes slack team, I would have thrown my laptop outside the window by week #6. I appreciate that team for the times that I have gotten stuck and I must have worn out their patience.
I really enjoyed this course and learning about responsive web design through weekly challenges, It was great to have more exposure to other applications too, I look forward to starting the next workshop π`π

Matt is a great teacher and the Slack moderators are encouraging and always there when you need them! I found the weather app to be a bit challenging, but I'm happy to have learned more about Javascript, and so happy with the end result of my weather project.
I would suggest this workshop to a friend. It was easy and fun to learn but also helpful to review some concepts.

I had a great time learning how to create responsive web pages following Matt's classes! This was a bit different to the first two courses and adds another layer to my coding knowledge!

Juggling full time work and a family of two young children is a challenge, the desire to up-skill myself is also a priority for me. Data Analytics and coding interests me greatly. I stumbled upon SheCodes and it was a perfect option that allowed me to study at my own pace and in my own time. The lessons and challenges are short and sweet. This allowed me to fit studying in my very busy week. I would highly recommend this course for anyone interested in learning the basics of coding.

I started with very minimal knowledge. I tried to take a class in college but it was overwhelming and I didn't understand much. This tutorial is not only easy to follow, but I not only understood what I was doing, but I actually had a ton of fun learning and cannot wait to continue my education. I never thought coding could actually be fun and interesting. I highly recommend this course.

Tech is such a broad field, and seeing where I am fit is important to me. Being a creative, Web development stuck out to me the most. I love to design, build and solve problems. Coding is just that. Yes it is challenging, but coding is like learning a new language. I love knowing that I can put together codes to build a beautiful masterpiece!
It was a ton of fun! Learning about JavaScript was the most fun for me I think. I'm pretty sure I got a little too excited with it in the final project, but oh well. The project was just so much fun, making everything from scratch, having to redo a bunch of things because you realize it doesn't really look as good as you'd envisioned it and then finally finishing and being so proud of yourself. These weeks have introduced a new beginning for me and I am very much looking forward to the next workshop.

This was greatest challenge I've taken for myself in a long time. I dropped out of college 10 years ago and this was a great way to recover that chapter of my life. I am a hands on and visual learner, this workshop was user friendly and simple for a beginner. I was able to maneuver through being a full time single mom, full time employee and other projects. This was great I look forward to moving forward to the next SheCodes workshop.

After a few mental breakdown and a lot of watching videos, lectures and readings, I finally finished SheCodes React workshop. I have learnt about React alot and it was super fun and interesting. I made a weather app which has light and dark mode. Although I left out the forecast for now, I will definitely add it later.
I always found the idea of JavaScript hard and never wanted to begin learning because of that. My first project was really fun though!
Very easy-to-learn workshop. In my opinion it was very efficient that there was a video, after that you have to try yourself and after that you could immediately see the solution. It was easy to start learn and do exercises, because I knew that I can do a couple themes in a day, but if I was busy I hadn't to spend so much time learning. It was motivating and rewarding, even addicting that I could do small steps every day and really learn something new.
This project did take me longer than I planned. But I'm glad to say that I learned new skills from it!

This SheCodes Responsive workshop was so interesting, it was great to learn about responsive grids, CSS filters, Hero's and HTML Embeds and making a responsive website without the use of Bootstrap. Building a responsive website about something you are passioned about makes it that more enjoyable. I can't wait to see what's next!
