When I first signed up for the SheCodes course, I was intimidated by the idea of learning to code. I thought it was something only really smart people could do. However, after starting the course, I quickly realised that coding was something anyone could learn with the right resources and support. The SheCodes course provided me with exactly that. In a short space of time, I was able to learn a lot, and I enjoyed every minute of it. The course was not only informative but also empowering. It gave me the confidence to pursue coding further and showed me that I too could be successful in this field. I highly recommend the SheCodes course to anyone who wants to learn to code in a supportive and empowering environment.

This workshop was great for gaining some extra useful knowledge, I learned how to make responsive websites with multiple pages (which seems important nowadays as most people use smaller-screen devices) and how to make the pages SEO-friendly

SheCodes Basics Add-On was a great addition to the basics course. It was great to refresh and expand on the skills already learnt.

Learning coding was impossible for me until I started SheCode . SheCode made impossible to possible how to code.

An amazing course to start learning React!

During the previous SheCodes Workshops I have wondered many times: yes, that is okey, but how about this technique and that technique...🤔 so I am super happy to have done this Add-On, because we learnt many of the techniques that were question marks in my mind.🤖 Thank you! It was again a lot of fun and I am looking forward for the next chapter. 👩‍💻

SheCodes is engaging, understandable and challenging! This has been my first experience with coding and I am eager to sign up for SheCodes Plus to build on what I have learnt on the Basics course. I totally recommend SheCodes as a helpful, approachable and worthwhile (and fun!) course for beginners!

The courses are fun but also at the same time challenging which makes you progress and learn efficiently 😊

I learned coding at university but it was too hard for me. And now I wanted to get back to it, and this was amazing program to do so! I could take it slowly or faster, and I could understand everything! I could get back to videos or ask in group chat if I didn't understand everything! Going from the initial concept drawing to the final code was a fun (and challenging) journey. This course was well-structured, well-paced, and made learning API integration fun.

It's really nice to learn how to make website pages responsive through a project.

As a designer in an ecommerce company, I have been intrigued by coding but struggled to find the time to explore it. Recently, I decided to give it a go and enrolled in SheCodes' free hour-long class. I quickly became hooked and have now completed the basics course. Learning the coding terminology has already proved useful in my current role, and I have even started using inspect and console features with greater ease (I had no idea you could amend colours that way 🤯).

The course material was well-organized and easy to follow, and the instructors were knowledgeable and supportive throughout the entire process. I especially appreciated the hands-on coding challenges and projects that allowed me to apply what I had learned in real-world scenarios. Thanks to SheCodes, I now have a solid foundation in web development and feel confident in my ability to continue learning and growing in this field. This workshop really helped deepen my knowledge in Javascript and it was mostly my first time working with API. I'm still going to add more functionality to the weather project to keep learning and I can´t wait to finish the next projects and the React app.

I loved the SheCodes workshop. Matt's style of teaching is so easy to follow, and the short videos combined with mini challenges made it super easy to learn how to code a basic landing page. I would highly recommend the SheCodes Workshops!! Everything is well explained and broken down into short videos, so you don't get overwhelmed. What's more, you can apply what you learn, on the coding challenges, which helps you understand everything so much better. I am really enjoying the workshops and I cannot wait to continue with more.

i have learned *so* much in the last two weeks. as a (previously) proud luddite, i cannot believe i'm actually coding! the lessons are broken down into very easy-to-follow, bite-sized pieces, and you slowly build up your skillset. i cannot wait to keep going with this course.

The workshop has taught me a lot in a short period of time. It gives an idea of the kind of work developers do. The workshop is designed to enable beginners to easily grasp the concepts and understand how to apply the terms and skill learnt to solve real life problems. I loved the fact that each lesson has a challenge question at end.

I recommend She Codes to anyone who is brand new to coding or needs a refresher on the basics. The courses guide you through the concepts and best practices, and the challenges ensure you're truly learning. I love that there is help available if you get stuck. This has been a great experience!

If you know nothing about coding, then SheCodes is a good place to start. This workshop is fantastic and so efficient. The lessons were easy to learn. ThisWorkshop is incredibly well explained. I never thought I would understand coding so fast. Of course it's not easy to learn it but with practice and the challenges you can become better.

Learned a lot in this workshop about building websites that are responsive. Tricky at times, but felt that the challenges and Matt's guidance helped make sense of the details that this requires.

I have always been a bit intimidated by computers and took the free coding webinar with SheCodes on a whim one day. I ran into my husband's office and I said, "I can't believe I've waited this long to start coding. It's so logical and intuitive, and IT IS EXCITING. This is what I'm missing." I'm a chemist and chemical engineer with a background in construction. I've done alot of modeling and python, and a lot of drafting through my career, but never any coding or development. I'm really excited for this new opportunity to learn and expend my skills. I don't think I've ever been so excited to learn something new!

SheCodes Plus was challenging, fun and I learned a lot during the course. To work on usefull project brings a lot of sense to the process. Also I want to notice that SheCodes school has very flexible shedule, it makes possible to study in your own temp without additional anxiety and stress which I appreciate a lot! I was worried whether it was too late for me to learn coding and start a new career path, but this was the best decision I have ever made. I really enjoyed this workshop; I did struggle with JavaScript, but the mini challenges helped me and also Matt explanation. CSS styles was new to me and using these skills and putting it toward my final project shows how much I have achieved. I am looking forward to learning more.

Such a great little course. Help is always available when you need it through Slack (but Google is truly your best friend). The steps to complete the workshop are explained efficiently and are easy to understand. You can complete the learning challenges in your own time, as long as you stick to the weekly homework deadlines, and even then, there is the opportunity to request an extension if you think you'll need it. I would recommend this for anyone looking to get into coding like I was, and especially if you're looking to update your skills. There's always something new to learn! Coding is definitely the way forward!

Every lesson in each week was enjoyable and learnable. Coach Matteu has a way of breaking complex task to be simple. When I started the lessons, I thought I wouldn't be able to complete them because of its complexities; but as we progressed, it became too real to be true. I was already familiar with HTML but not JavaScript or CSS. Learning JavaScript and CSS was a breeze with the way that Matt broke everything down. I was extremely nervous about learning the two, but the way that Matt teaches it was truly amazing! I honestly am in disbelief that I have completed my first project!
