I loved learning with Shecodes it has brought my confidence in my web development skills up hugely the weekly tasks and challenges have helped me so much and I will return to this course every time i need a refresher. it has been a great experience and i enjoyed learning with she codes so much
I have particularly enjoyed this course because it's definitely boosted my confidence when it comes to JS functions. I do admit React can be quite counterintuitive at times but Matt has done an excellent job at explaining the process step-by-step. I am so very grateful to SheCodes for everything I have learned, I can't wait to learn more about React as it's definitely the field I would like to steer my career towards.
This course has helped me re-affirm my knowledge that I learnt from SheCodes Basics as well as being able to learn some other helpful tools. I now feel ready to tackle SheCodes Plus!

SheCodes makes learning really fun with a great balance of theory, practicals and code-a-long videos. I've found that the structure of the lessons has helped me to pick up concepts quickly and you do feel you have achieved something each week with the homework tasks. I've also picked up lots of tools and tips that aren't necessarily taught in other self-learning platforms I've tried.
The responsive course confirmed my love for design and its endless possibilities of it. The course was well thought out, with enough guidance to point you in the direction of further learning. I ended up getting lost in the world of CSS and the creative ways to make websites responsive - though I wouldn't have been able to do this without the help of the Responsive course.
I started SheCodes workshops with 0 idea of coding and after completing 3 levels I feel I am learning a lot super quickly. I love the lesson materials, homework and assistance we receive. It's helping me expand my knowledge so much in a field that was completely unknown for me.
I am a complete beginner to coding (minus some very basic CSS tweaks back in the days of tumblr) and I found this workshop to be simple yet challenging, straightforward & easy-to-learn, and overall, it really got me excited about a future in tech. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, and I will absolutely be continuing with the rest of the workshops SheCodes has to offer!
My husband is a web developer and has always encouraged me to learn how to code. I wasn't sure if I would like it so was looking for an introductory course that I could fit around working and being a mom of two young kids. I liked how I could do the lessons from home at times that suited me. The home work deadlines kept me accountable and encouraged me to stick to my learning schedule. Matt is a great instructor and my favourite part of the course was the challenges.

The introduction to coding workshop was very exciting and it was pretty awesome. I was able to learn the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in a short amount of time. I liked that it had hands-on challenges as well as projects so I could really get a feel for what I was learning. Round 3 of SheCodes workshops was as informative, interesting and entertaining as the first. I was able to use many of the HTML and CSS techniques we learned in Basics and Plus. I really enjoyed the creative freedom we got for this portfolio project. Though there were some moments of confusion and stress with my code, I was able to pull through with the help of Matt's lecture videos and the slack chats of fellow SheCodes students. I am really happy with my project and I can't wait to start on SheCodes React and Add-on projects.
I loved this workshop! I feel so much more prepared and knowledgeable on React, especially on VSCode, and feel like I can even start making my own projects on my own :) I will take what I've learned into new coding endeavors and future jobs!

This was a tough but rewarding add-on. As a person who uses dark theme on all platforms that allow it, I can't imagine not learning how to build a dark theme toggle button myself. So glad I did!

A really hectic week. Very challenging, very informative. I've learnt so much from Matt's classes, the program is very supportive. I also love how the team isn't spoonfeeding, and leaves room for you to consult other resources such as Google in order to find ways to deal with other challenges as well as be creative. Genuinely loved every step of the way.

The shecodes Plus was so informational. So much information that I have learned in this course. It was an amazing experience creating a real life weather app.I still can't wrap my head around that I made a weather app.
What a brilliant course to learn about something so fascinating - I'd have found it a real struggle to keep up with any other kind of teaching format. I've found it so enjoyable that I've finished much sooner than the length of 3 weeks and am keen to sign up to the next course! This 3 week course was very fun and challenging i really enjoyed learning the basics of coding. This course was an eye opener for me. I had no previous experience with coding, but I absolutely LOVED learning how to code. Thank you to Matt and SheCodes Staff.
This course pushes you to overcome some of the challenges you will face as a developer. I have learned so many new techniques and tricks to solve some of the common issues. I'm happy with the program and all the knowlege I have gained over the course of several months. I highly recommend this course.
I've taken a few online courses over the years, but it is safe to say that SheCodes tops them all by far. Matt is highly skilled at breaking down complex information into manageable and understandable chunks in a logical order that allows you to gradually build a solid foundation of knowledge, which is further reinforced by the demonstrations and examples provided in the lessons, and your own practice via the lesson challenges, homework and projects. As a visual and practical learner, these methods have helped me so so much, and I've learned and retained so much more than I was ever expecting. Matt has also managed what I previously believed was impossible - to make programming less scary (and fun)! Thanks again for this wonderful experience.

The basics add on project was just like the name, an add on that was super helpful and easy to learn.
She Codes was the perfect way to learn some coding! The Basics course was a great way to test out coding to see if that is the path I'd like to pursue in Tech. I decided to pursue UX and PM'ing instead, and the best part is that these coding skills will help on that path as well! I am so excited to be transitioning my career into Tech. She Codes created an amazing space and tool for me to upskill on my time in a very optimistic and encouraging environment. I definitely would recommend SheCodes courses.

I loved learning about making a light/dark theme for the website. I feel like it is definitely something I will want to incorporate into other projects, like the weather app. As always, these courses are very easy to follow and push me to learn new skills.

Kudos to Matt and his team for developing a fun but informative way for women (especially busy working class females) to learn coding. This is a course that every female should pursue because not only are you armed with another skillset, but you will be in a network of smart females. My feedback on this course: I got value for my money, course was presented in a well written and sequential way. The course weekly assessments were of very high standard and the entire hands-on approach was what made this course suitable for females of every walks and background. I strongly recommend this coding course to every single females in every single country around the world!!!
