I really enjoyed the She Codes responsive program even tho I was kinda short on deadlines sometimes, so the fact that we can require a one-week extension is a great option π anyways, I've learned a lot of new things in this new program so I highly recommend going this far in the She Codes program π

Previously I had tried to learn html, css and javascript and for the life of me I could not come right. Then I came across SheCodes and with only just 3-4 weeks of being a part of the family I can truly say that this is the best platform to learn from. Not only does it offer hands on experience, but it also comes with an incredible instructor. Matt is so passionate and it is so inspirational. I can definitely see myself becoming a developer.
Biggest project yet! compared to the previous homework, this one is a bit challenging but absolutely rewarding. I learned to integrate a lot of third-party sites to complete the project.

After completing the SheCodes Basics it took some time for me to complete the SheCodes Plus course. At first I was skeptical with how much I'd learn because I'm just "following tutorials and doing exactly as I was told" but Matt is an excellent teacher! He explained everything in such a way that it's easy to follow. I noticed that I understood what I was doing after friends asked me for an explanation on my codes which surprised me a lot. Can't wait to see what the React course has in store for me :)

As someone with little to no experience in coding prior to attending this program, I was initially apprehensive about whether I would be able to keep up with the curriculum. However, from day one, Matt's lessons were comprehensive and the community was supportive, and the curriculum was structured in such a way that even complete beginners like me were able to grasp the concepts. What I appreciated most about the SheCodes was the emphasis on hands-on, project-based learning. Instead of just reading about coding concepts in a textbook or watching lectures, we were actually coding from day one. I have really enjoyed my SheCodes Basics experience, the platform worked really well with my preferred learning style of hands-on, allowing me to get stuck in with the experiential practice. I found it challenging in a positive way, spending hours immersed in focussed problem-solving and feeling a great sense of achievement upon completing the tasks. It was also great to see the elements of HTML, CSS and Javascript come together for the final project!

Each week, there are a number of tutorials which you can watch when convenient and you can apply what you learned in the homework assignment. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow and the homework is exactly the right level of challenging.
Joining SheCodes was the best thing I could ever do for myself. I've learned a lot of new things in a short period of time and the weekly homework helps you in practicing my skills. I started the SheCodes Basics course to help me with my current employment, as a digital marketer I make regular updates to our company's website, manage Google Tag Manager, Email Marketing and much more.
