Coding really can be fun! Once again, Matt has laid the class out in an easy to follow manner - learning some new tricks and also re-iterating things we already learned. I found the review to be especially helpful for getting some things to stick in my brain. Highly recommend the classes, it has helped me to feel quite accomplished with Java Script!
SheCodes is a great way to learn coding at your own pace. Matt is a great instructor and teaches the basic requirements to fully understand the world of Code.
This workshop was very hands-on by putting all these skills we've learned into making a portfolio that can be used professionally. At this point, I feel very confident creating this portfolio on my own and not needing as much guidance. It's been a lot of work, but very satisfying figuring things out more independently while still knowing I had support when I got stuck. The videos are always very clear and helpful. I even feel more confident looking things up on my own through google and other resources.

I found this course to have a very interesting approach to teaching. The video-classes help breaking down each learning element to make it digestible, but the challenges sometimes sneak in some elements that may require the student to do some digging by themselves. It is therefore both a proactive and reactive approach to learning, which I found to be very useful.
I learned a lot of new things to be able to make my landing pages even more complex and beautiful. I enjoyed learning step by step all the new tools.
I liked this Basic course that i did. It gave me a better vision what a Front-End Developer is. Even beginning this course with some doubts in myself, i realised that i am quite good in it ,it makes fun and i really enjoyed to go through every lesson. SheCodes is an excellent learning platform for people like me with no coding experience and people who are interested in coding but have no time to visit classes in person. I am truly satisfied with the lessons. Sometimes I have trouble understanding the material. However, I am getting to an advanced level and this requires more patience and study time. Matt explains the subject very well. I just need some extra time to repeat and digest everything, so that I can feel comfortable coding on my own. I was able to grasp some of the fundamentals of web front-end development with the resources provided in the basics workshop. The pace for learning the materials and doing the homework and challenges was also set well especially for beginners. I had started programming several years ago and I had little knowledge. When I participated in your course and saw Mr. Delac's teaching style, I was surprised and watched all the sessions with more motivation and learned more teaching tips in each session and even the basic course was reviewed here. I am really grateful that you educated the women of my country in this foundation for free, because even now in my country, women work more, but their work is not very important.

At first, I wasn't sure about learning to code, but this year is all about trying new things that will benefit me in the long-term game. I wasn't wrong. After every class, I've felt so rewarded with all the things I've been learning, since technology is not my best friend sometimes. Really this was the best way to learn on my own time, each lesson is so accessible and easy to follow. Even when I was confused I was well-equipped to search for my own solutions. I love being able to show off my cute weather app too! I feel really proud of myself to know even this basic level of React.

Learning React is not an easy task. I appreciate how this workshop focuses on key elements and models each step to creating a working weather app. There's still so much to learn, but I now have the foundational knowledge to figure out how to make functional React apps.

Where do I even begin?! My experience with SheCodes has been nothing short of amazing! Matt is such a good teacher. I have done a few online courses on web development basics previously, but none of them come close to this one. I think Matt must've done a teaching course or something, because he is just so good. The course is well structured, and it gives the perfect opportunities for students to test their understanding of the work as they learn. What I ABSOLUTELY love about it is that it is tailored to cater for busy women. However, although it has flexibility in terms of deadlines, having strong personal goals to achieve via the skills learnt in this course, and furthermore knowing that there are other students you started the course at the same time as you who are doing their best to finish the course, pushes you to put in the work and finish! I am so happy I took the course, and look forward to learning more through the next one. Thank you SheCodes!

Wow, this class was intense. I enjoyed learning React; you can do many neat things, and the code looks prettier. It was a very challenging class, especially figuring out how to transfer my CSS to the correct file, and which parts of your code you should leave or move into the next component to keep the design how you want it. If you take this class, utilize the Slack channels to help solve any issues you may come across. Overall it was super fun and I am excited about the next section.
Although I encountered significant challenges with a previous coding boot camp, I remain committed to pursuing my dream of becoming a developer.
