I recently completed the SheCodes program, led by Matt, and it was an incredible experience. I was able to learn a lot of excellent fundamental coding skills in just three weeks which have helped me feel more confident making the transition into tech. Matt was an excellent instructor and clearly and concisely explained each topic. He also gave us plenty of time to practice our newfound skills with fun exercises. Thanks to Matt, I'm now feeling better equipped to tackle this new chapter in my career!

SheCodes Basic Workshop was an excellent learning experience to learn from scratch the basics of HTML, CSS & Java. I never thought I would be able to achieve all of this in just 3 weeks!

SheCodes is really the best way to learn to code. The video explanations are easy to understand and easy to follow. Having finished the Basic workshop, I saw how the team really thought of the smallest things that would help the participants in their learning journey. They provided all these additional resources which are very useful to beginners: cheatsheets, tools, fast support from the team, and access to a community of learners, etc.

They were things I just thought I would not be able to do in this lifetime. For example build an actual weather app that shows the current date, temperature, time and the forecast for the next day. After completing the SheCodes Basics it took some time for me to complete the SheCodes Plus course. At first I was skeptical with how much I'd learn because I'm just "following tutorials and doing exactly as I was told" but Matt is an excellent teacher! He explained everything in such a way that it's easy to follow. I noticed that I understood what I was doing after friends asked me for an explanation on my codes which surprised me a lot. Can't wait to see what the React course has in store for me :)

I recently completed the SheCodes Plus workshop, and it was one of the most valuable and rewarding experiences I've ever had. As someone with little to no experience in coding prior to attending this program, I was initially apprehensive about whether I would be able to keep up with the curriculum. However, from day one, Matt's lessons were comprehensive and the community was supportive, and the curriculum was structured in such a way that even complete beginners like me were able to grasp the concepts. What I appreciated most about the SheCodes was the emphasis on hands-on, project-based learning. Instead of just reading about coding concepts in a textbook or watching lectures, we were actually coding from day one. I have really enjoyed my SheCodes Basics experience, the platform worked really well with my preferred learning style of hands-on, allowing me to get stuck in with the experiential practice. I found it challenging in a positive way, spending hours immersed in focussed problem-solving and feeling a great sense of achievement upon completing the tasks. It was also great to see the elements of HTML, CSS and Javascript come together for the final project!

Excellent course, would highly recommend to everyone who would like to start coding! Each week, there are a number of tutorials which you can watch when convenient and you can apply what you learned in the homework assignment. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow and the homework is exactly the right level of challenging.
Joining SheCodes was the best thing I could ever do for myself. I've learned a lot of new things in a short period of time and the weekly homework helps you in practicing my skills. I'm looking forward to learning more things in the SheCodes Plus program and later getting a remote job which has been my dream so that I can work from anywhere.

React isn't the easiest to learn, but Matt is an excellent teacher and the Slack team is amazing. The learning is project-based, fun, and engaging. I highly recommend!

I started the SheCodes Basics course to help me with my current employment, as a digital marketer I make regular updates to our company's website, manage Google Tag Manager, Email Marketing and much more. Even after the first week of this course, it opened up more for my job role. I can now read the code I'm looking at and it has been a great diving board to learn more in the coding world.

I took a hiatus from my project on SheCodes. But when I returned, I found it easy to relearn some of the basics/pick up where I left off.

This course was very well structured and I learned a lot within the 3 weeks.
Thanks to Matt and his team for this great opportunity. I had a lot of fun, it is great to have a challenge with most of the lectures to apply what you have learned and I loved to have actual results in the end that I can show to others. I started this course to get some basic knowledge in coding as I am trying to change careers into UX Design and be better equipped to talk to developers, but I might just change course completely and switch to coding ... I am not sure yet, the jury is still out there. But who knows?

I very much enjoyed the past 3 weeks of learning how to code with SheCodes. I was nervous at first but once a few days go by then the full 3 weeks I am amazed how much I learned, was easy to understand and how I feel at the end is truly fantastic. I would highly recommend this course to everyone I know. I am sad that this is the end, I will be upgrading to the Max program soon. I am excited to see what the future has in store.
shecodes helped me start my frontend journey, even without having a tech background...The classes are very explanatory and making it easy to understand and I could learn at my own pace.

I've always been afraid of coding. Thanks to Tiktok I discovered SheCodes and took the leap of faith. Matt Delac, the instructor, is excellent at teaching the concepts of coding. He is especially patient and helpful. I wholeheartedly suggest this workshop to anyone interested in learning basic coding from start to finish. This experience not only taught me the proper techniques and foundation of HTML coding as promised, but it also taught me how to learn independently, how to stick with a problem and find ways to solve it, and, perhaps most importantly, how to continue to develop my software development skills outside of the electronic classroom.
If you know nothing about coding, then SheCodes is a good place to start. This workshop is fantastic and so efficient. The lessons were easy to learn.
