It’s been a great learning experience. The lessons are clear, and I love how everything is broken down step by step. Matt’s teaching style is awesome. This was a thrilling experience, I enjoyed myself. I joined SheCodes knowing absolutely nothing about coding and now I am glad I joined, Matt is a wonderful facilitator who made the material seem so easy and made learning fun. I love the fact that I was allowed a second chance to do better on my challenges as well as home works.

Working on the SheCodes World Clock project was such a rewarding and fun experience! It allowed me to apply new skills in JavaScript and Moment.js to create something both practical and interactive. I loved the challenge of integrating different timezones and the ability to personalize each city's clock, while also learning about how to handle timezone offsets and dynamically updating the UI. It was a great hands-on way to deepen my understanding of working with dates, times, and APIs. Plus, seeing the world clock come together in real-time as I selected different cities made the whole project feel incredibly rewarding. This project was an awesome blend of learning, problem-solving, and creativity!

I have learned so much while going through this course. It is very easy to follow, and it's broken into sections, so it's not overwhelming. I recommend anyone who would like to understand the basics of coding. I can't wait to start the next course.

React was really really challenging!! Despite having a solid foundation in vanilla JavaScript, react had me going through sleepless nights trying to code, fix codes, figure out what I am to do, or what I am doing wrong. Nonetheless, it has been the most rewarding workshop because I learnt a whole lot of new techniques - I was able to create components to structure and streamline codes in order to build powerful apps. I learnt how to build interactions using functions, closure and state-management. At the end of the workshop, I was able to build a sophisticated weather app using react, and then hosting my application online. Once more, I would like to thank Matt and the SheCodes team for the great workshop and timely support rendered throughout the process.

I am so impressed with the SheCodes Workshop! I went in feeling a bit apprehensive about the potential complexity, especially with the numbers being involved. But the way the classes were structured and explained everything so clearly made the learning process really enjoyable, and the feeling of successfully completing the exercises was incredebly rewarding. I was a bit scared to start this course because of all the scary stories I heard about people learning Python, but to my surprise, it was easy to follow along and understand. Matt is really good at explaining the code and teaches at a good pace. I can't wait to learn more about Python with SheCodes!

Initially, I was hesitant to start Python because I assumed it to be more difficult than front-end coding language. However, I think this is the most clearly laid out course so far. In particular, the #subtitling of different learning points with the instruction helps to organize the understanding of the code. I also think that key concepts like the api_keys and urls are better broken down than in the JS courses. The simplicity of the code and Matt make it very digestible.

I have learned a lot on shecodes

Completing the SheCodes Responsive workshop was a transformative experience for me. I gained hands-on skills in building responsive websites using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and media queries, which has significantly boosted my confidence in frontend development. What stood out most was the teaching style, the instructor didn’t just walk through perfect code, but also made real mistakes live and talked us through fixing them. That honest, human approach made the learning process feel more approachable and helped me embrace debugging as a natural part of coding. I walked away from the workshop not only with new technical skills, but also with a mindset shift: mistakes are part of growth, and every bug is an opportunity to learn.

Definitely more challenging but you get all the support you need. There are so many more things that can be done and the project helps you explore all the different capabilities to be creative and learn more on using html, css and javascript. It was a wonderful and rewarding way to learn!

Building this AI Travel Itinerary Planner through the Shecodes Python AI course was an incredibly rewarding experience. This project showcases a practical application of AI in generating travel itineraries, and I'm proud of the skills I've acquired in bringing it to life. I really felt that I learned a lot in this program

SheCodes is the way to go! I was with SheCodes a few years back for their Basics program, even then after countless tries and different avenues of learning front-stack... only with Matt was I able to really pick it up. Now I am back again, this time to complete the "Become a Developer" workshop. Now I want to learn Python. Again, I tried many avenues. There was always a gap in my learning. One day, I thought, I know how to bridge this gap! Let's go to Matt's workshop!!! I'm not playing around or doing this for fun this time, coding is my passion. So, I went all in with the best, most complete coding workshop I have found, again... Matt has it! Thanks Matt and the SheCodes team for helping me reach my dream of become a well-rounded coding developer!
