The class provides hands-on learning, which allows me to understand at a faster pace. Matt explains concepts very well even to beginners. Athena AI is a great tool to quickly get feedback in real-time.

I had never coded before and I loved SheCodes Basics for it's short video lessons and exercises I could fit into my day. The workshop format is really fun. I found myself excited to set time to work on it and I feel like I learned a lot. Coding is no longer intimidating for me, and I've gained a new interest. I'm really glad I tried it.

A good way to practice the learned skills and gain some extra knowledge

I am so happy I decided to try to learn how to code. I never thought it would be easy, but the course is designed for anyone who has never tried to code. The instructor Matt Delac is so informative, and the lesson is taught step by step. If you're undecided about joining, rest assured that you won't regret it.

I’ve always wanted to do something tech based. Ever since I was little I was always taking things apart and putting them back together and really learning and understanding how things worked and me being the person that I am I looked for ways to advance those things and what better way than to do that then with coding. Learning code has been a fun and challenging experience for me and I love it.

I liked a lot this weeks, I learned many new things, sometimes I felt fustrated about the meaning of comands or when to use them like
but I could solve it :)

Quite challenging yet very interesting and fun course! I learned a lot :)

I'm a full-time employee, a mom of two toddlers, and an woman who struggles to find any spare moments in my day. I'm so proud of the skills I have developed through this program. SheCodes makes learning a new, challenging skill set engaging and incredibly gratifying. I hope my daughter sees my accomplishment and knows that she can do better- and does.

Learning the basics of React was fun to learn. In order to advanced my skills in React, I will continue to learn the native language and practice coding.

I learned a lot about how to make a website responsive during this workshop. I now feel that I have a strong knowledge base to make any project responsive!

React was a bit challenging but I have learnt a lot already, Matt is the best!

SheCodes Basic Workshop is an amazing way for someone to begin to understand coding, to learn it and actually to enjoy it. I have such a great time and it was very well organised with a lot of support.

The SheCodes coding basics has really been a beautiful journey for me. I have learned a lot in such a short period of time and although I have very little time to dedicate to the course, eventually I completed the workshop and from here on the sky is not even the limit.

It was truly a challenging and rewarding experience. It had its moments of frustration, but seeing the project come to life makes you want to overcome the challenges and do your best. I had a gratifying learning experience.

I have been in the design field for almost 15 years. I needed to expand my knowledge of HTML, CSS, & JavaScript, as I am working towards being a UI designer, but I was so intimidated to learn how to code. I attended the free 60-minute class, and surprisingly it seemed pretty simple with how Matt explained everything. I was shocked and excited at how quickly I caught on with everything in the basics course. This course has definitely boosted my confidence! Now I really enjoy coding with HTML, CSS, & JavaScript. I can't wait to learn more.

I wanted to learn some of the basics of CSS, HTML and JavaScript for use in my other projects. SheCodes provided me with a fun, straightforward and comprehensive beginner short course, and I am now able to use CSS and HTML to my benefit.

SheCodes was an amazing experience for me. It taught me that I was able to learn something that I never thought I'd be able to. It taught me that coding is not impossible and that other professional possibilities are closer than ever.

Started this journey with no experience nor skills, just a simple girl from the rural areas of South Africa wasn't easy at first but the exciting way to express creativity whilst learning a valuable skill that can lead to rewarding career. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity to take part in program whilst increasing the infancy stage of women in Coding in developing countries diversifying the gender recognition thus imparting skills to women to be key role player in male dominated fields.

The responsive workshop was very nice. It was fun to learn that we can manipulate a website to work and fit the way we want it to in different devices of different widths.
