This has been a great learning experience and I can’t wait to learn more about coding.
Working with JavaScript and Moment.js has significantly improved my ability to create dynamic, real-time applications. I gained hands-on experience with DOM manipulation, time formatting, and handling time zones across different regions. Using moment-timezone, I learned how to detect the user’s local time zone and update the interface in real time using setInterval. This experience strengthened my understanding of working with external libraries and writing clean, interactive, and responsive JavaScript code.
I had no idea on how code works. Now after only 3 weeks I feel like I have learned a lot. I am very happy, and looking forward to start the next level.
I never thought learning coding could be this easy! It’s all thanks to the SheCode Team and Community for making it happen! I’ve fallen in love with coding and can’t wait to take more advanced courses!
The SheCodes Responsive workshop has been my favorite workshop so far. Using all the skills I’ve learned to create my portfolio website in the final project was a huge accomplishment that makes me feel even more confident to transition into the tech world. SheCodes Basics Add-on has been so much fun! A huge thank you the SheCodes team for being there when I had questions🥰! With the addition of new concepts such as grids, CSS transform, and class manipulation, Add-on has been a great addition to my coding journey. One of the most valuable things I’ve learnt is how to improve the consistency of styling via the use of fraction units within grids to ensure that images displayed in a grid are of the same size and take up the same space. Being able to utilise the information that has been taught throughout the course within the Final Project has been a great way to apply my knowledge and learn how to rectify coding errors.
As someone completely new to coding, joining SheCodes has been an eye-opening and empowering experience. I’ve had the chance to explore HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—and to actually build something real and personal, like my own photography-themed webpage! From struggling with syntax to styling layouts and writing interactive JavaScript, I’ve learned how much fun (and rewarding) coding can be. The Course Plus is a good platform for learning. However, it requires careful attention to ensure you get the code correct. I feel I need to do some extra study to fully understand the concepts.
Really interesting start to using AI that finished with creating a project using all the knowledge from the plus workshop which was great practise and I finally felt like I really got the hang of javascript! Looking forward to learning more!!

Shecode made the program simple to use and comprehend. It was a little challenging to learn JavaScript, but I'm sure it will improve with practice.
I really enjoyed the React Add-On workshop. I learnt to build a fully functional dictionary, showing meanings, examples, synonyms and images related to the word. The project involved using APIs and react loops, also splitting application into different components to ensure they are clear, and easy to understand/manoeuvre. It's really amazing to have made it this far in my coding journey, starting from understanding html basics to vanilla javascript, python and react- I thank Matt for his great and detailed tutorship as well as the SheCodes support team for their prompt support/guidance whenever needed.

Taking the SheCodes React course was both a challenging and rewarding experience. Compared to the previous SheCodes workshops, this one definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone. It took me longer to complete because I really needed to take the time to wrap my head around the new concepts I was learning. I often found myself seeking help from other resources to reinforce what I was being taught. That said, Matt did an excellent job guiding me through the course material—his teaching style remained clear and supportive, even when the content became more complex. Overall, I’m proud of how far I’ve come and grateful for the solid foundation in React that this course gave me.
This is my second workshop. I have enjoyed this one very much... I learned a new skills that I am finding very useful. I cannot wait to start the next one. I highly recommend these courses.

The course was great and I learned a lot. I like the elegance of this language a lot compared to javascript. Having said that: getting locked out of Replit all the time because of the limited developer time was super annoying. I created a workaround for it and i hope something like that will be added in the future. This would have been 5 stars otherwise.
Before joining SheCodes, I had taken some programming courses, but I had never worked on front-end development. This experience completely changed that I truly enjoyed building a website from scratch! A big thank you to SheCodes and Matt Delac for making learning so engaging and accessible. I'm definitely looking forward to joining another class soon!
I absolutely enjoyed that not only is this course self-paced but that I continue to have access to past workshops and lessons completed to reference. As I worked on completing the project for the Basic Add-on (and introduction to Front End), I truly enjoyed learning how coding works and the possibilities of what coding can do. I'm not as timid when I continue onto the next course of Front End.
