In just two weeks, the Plus AI workshop completely transformed how I approach web development. Learning how to integrate live AI APIs into interactive projects was a total game-changer. The step-by-step structure made complex concepts easy to understand, and I walked away with functional projects I'm super proud to share!

I’ve just completed the module focused on preparing for the job market, and I found all the advice extremely valuable. Even though I’m 44 years old and have previous professional experience, I realized that there were many things I had never practiced before when applying for jobs. The module helped me identify several mistakes I had been making, which may have contributed to the difficulties I’ve had in getting invited to job interviews. It was a very practical and eye-opening experience, and I feel much more prepared and confident about presenting myself and my skills to potential employers. I’m very grateful for everything I’ve learned throughout my SheCodes journey, and I’m hopeful that completing this journey will open the doors to a new and exciting career in technology.

SheCodes Plus AI has been a really interesting and practical experience. I especially enjoyed learning how to integrate AI into projects and use it as a tool to improve and simplify the development process. It has given me a better understanding of how AI can be used creatively and practically, while also increasing my confidence in working with new technologies.

I had some previous experience with Python, but this course helped me solidify the fundamentals and understand the language more clearly. It also reminded me of some similarities with JavaScript and made me even more curious about how frontend and backend development come together. Definitely a useful foundation for taking my Python learning further.

This workshop was both empowering and enlightening ,after months of not coding i was finally able to start again then had to come to terms with how rapidly things change .It helped me identify my weaknesses especially in JavaScript and learning to understand the syntax was more important than trying to recollect all the code in a short period of time it taught me to be patient and to constantly go back so i could fully understand9i am still learning and adjusting to the new things i have learnt such as using the current time zone or simply having a drop down😅) My favorite part was playing around with how i wanted my webpage to look while still sticking to what was required. Most memorable yet humbling workshop I've had because of the realization that growth isn't linear, but Matt's videos are always there to help you back up.

👩‍💻I enrolled in SheCodes Plus two years ago, but I was unable to finish because I had just become a new mother. Balancing motherhood and learning was not easy. Returning after so much time was challenging, but I was determined to finish what I had started. I am now proud to say that I completed SheCodes Plus and built my Skylo Weather application. This experience taught me that it is never too late to return to your goals. This is only the beginning, and I will continue learning, building projects, and working toward becoming a software engineer.

Learning React has been a nice challenge and I have enjoyed it a lot. Of course, this is just the beginning of my learning adventure and there is still a lot to learn about this tool. Thanks for the videos and explanations, they have been very useful as always. I'm very proud to see how much I have accomplished and learnt and I am very excited to discover what will come next.

I must say that this workshop has been so interesting! I have learned a lot and in a really nice way and I cannot wait to go further! Moreover, doing the project was a lot a fun.

I loved the React part of the SheCodes bootcamp. It took me from components and props all the way to building and deploying my own weather app with a 5-day forecast. Challenging, but so enjoyable — and I learned a huge amount along the way.

This add-on class was a great way to build on what I learned in React by creating a Dictionary App using two APIs, useState, and map(). I learned to display definitions, examples, synonyms, and photos for the searched words, which gave me more practice with React, APIs, and loops.

I really enjoyed taking the SheCodes Plus AI workshop. It was a great way to build on the coding skills I had already developed while learning more about how AI can be integrated into web applications. What I enjoyed most was the hands-on approach. Building my own AI Travel Destination Generator allowed me to put what I was learning into practice and experiment with different ideas along the way. The workshop gave me more confidence in working with APIs and AI, and it was very rewarding to see my project come together from start to finish. I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone looking for a practical and engaging way to learn coding and AI.

I am very grateful for the privilege to complete the SheCodes Basics Coding course. Really enjoying the AI + Coding workshops course so far! It took me a while to take the leap and pay for the course but I'm really enjoying the process and learning so much. I’m so happy to have completed the SheCodes React Add-on and reached the end of my React journey with SheCodes! React has definitely been one of the more challenging technologies I’ve learned. I didn’t find it as easy to click with as some of the other languages I’ve worked with, and there were definitely moments where I felt frustrated or unsure of myself. But I kept working through the challenges, debugging my code, and trying to understand not just what was going wrong, but why. Throughout the React Add-on, I’ve gained a much better understanding of components, props, state, APIs, and how everything comes together to create a working application. I’ve also become much more comfortable with making mistakes, researching errors, and figuring things out for myself, which I know is such an important part of learning to code. I’m really proud of myself for sticking with React and finishing the course, especially when it didn’t always come easily. Looking back at where I started, I can see how much I’ve learned and how much more confident I am with coding. Completing this certificate feels like a really exciting milestone in my coding journey. I am grateful to have finally moved forward with my certificates, towards a greater achievement .This was indeed a great addition to the previous certificate and I have in a way upgraded my knowledge from the basics certificate .I am excited to continue learning and applying my skills in future tasks ,there still is a long way to go but I am excited to be on this journey with SheCodes.

Completing my final project for the SheCodes Basics workshop was such a rewarding experience. I built a webpage from scratch using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and it was exciting to see how the different pieces of code came together to create a functional and visually appealing website. Before starting the workshop, web development felt quite intimidating, but SheCodes made the learning process simple and enjoyable. I learned how to structure a webpage with HTML, style it with CSS, and add interactivity using JavaScript. I especially enjoyed being able to be creative with the design and make the project my own. Finishing this project gave me a real sense of accomplishment and increased my confidence in coding. It also motivated me to continue learning and exploring web development. This course helped me build on the skills I learned in the Responsive course by teaching me more advanced web design techniques. I learned to create responsive grids, work with tables and iframes, and use background images to enhance the look and functionality of websites. Another Project completed. Learning how to take a static design and turn it into a fully functional, data-driven web app using JavaScript and a live API was both challenging and rewarding. I'm proud of how clean, responsive, and smooth the user experience turned out.

I will definitely continue studying with SheCodes, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn. You can gain so much knowledge here! The pace is great, and the weekly homework keeps you on track while giving you the rewarding feeling of accomplishing something real—something you can actually build and see. I loved how active and creative my mind became throughout the workshop. I created three different websites, each with multiple pages to explore, and I am incredibly proud of them. Another workshop done and dusted! What a fantastic experience this has been so far. Within a matter of a week, another skill was unlocked and I have an interactive landing page to show for it. It amazes me everytime how easy and uncomplicated Matt makes coding. He explains it in bite-size chunks and provides you with enough space and time to think about what you have learned and then put the new skill to practice. Highly recommend any of the coding courses.

The course covers responsive design that builds on HTML, CSS, Flexbox, and CSS Grid with certification projects learned from previous modules. After going through the modules, I took some time playing with fluid grids, flexible images, and media queries. I would have liked to see a module about elements to consider when approaching mobile screens. Questions that come to mind include the possibility of making a base CSS for small screens first, adding break points for larger screens, and touch targets to ensure buttons and links can be adequately sized for touch screens. I enjoyed the process of experimenting and learning more about responsive design while creating and structuring a portfolio page that works on both desktop and mobile devices.
