Excellent course, I've learned valuable React skills from Matt and can't recommend SheCodes enough. The video tutorials are perfect to learn at your own pace and give you the opportunity to keep going back over any bits you don't understand. And you end up with a project you can really be proud of.

I learn a lot about how to manipulate dates and times using moment.js , how to make select menus work and advance HTML.

This is an excellent course! The content is practical and applicable to real-life situations. I learned valuable skills that I can immediately use, and the examples were very relevant and engaging.

The SheCodes Basics Add‑on was the perfect next step after completing the introductory workshop. It gave me the confidence to apply what I had learned in real projects, while introducing new concepts like responsive design and advanced JavaScript. Useful knowledge and nice way to learn

There's a lot of information, but the lessons are very bite-sized so it's easy to take a break when you need to or go back and find the specific directions for one thing you learned if need be. The challenges are fun to complete and help you see progress in real time as you learn. Matt's a great teacher and everything is very clear - even for those like me who have never programmed!

’ll be honest — I did not like coding at first. It took me way longer than expected just to get through the basics, and my laptop and I had a few disagreements along the way. But once I finally gave myself a chance (and didn’t quit), things started to click. SheCodes taught me that struggling is part of learning — and now coding isn’t so scary after all!

Python was hard, but I am glad I finally completed it. Looking forward to learning more about how it is used.

I am a bunch of emotions. I just completed my final SheCodes project ☺️🥲. This has been a remarkable journey. I had a goal to finish the bootcamps as soon as I was able to and I did it! I am so grateful for each lesson, challenge and homework assigned. I was able to practice and apply it practically. I intend on going over everything and practicing all that I have learned so that it becomes second nature. Learning Python Basics was really fun! Matt explained everything clearly and in an easy-to-understand way. Creating projects from scratch and then developing them further lesson by lesson is a great way to review what you've learned and see your own progress. The given free resources for further reading and diving deeper into topics such as Python code formatting were also very helpful! The SheCodes team and community were always there to answer questions, to give feedback and to cheer you on. :)

This course was fun and while the final project was challenging e.g. getting each city's local time zone to work, fixing Netlify and GeoNames after I exceeded free limits, designing and getting my weather emoticons animation to work, etc... I have learned a lot in the process and it sure is great to finally complete my Wonky weather app.

This course was helpful in breaking the final project down in pieces throughout the course while making it so that we were generalizing the course learning in order to complete the final project.

Building this World Clock project has been an incredible and rewarding challenge. It allowed me to significantly deepen my JavaScript skills, especially in working with complex time zones and external libraries like Moment.js. Learning how to manipulate the DOM to update the time in real-time and seeing the design come together with CSS Flexbox has given me much more confidence as a front-end developer. I am proud of the final result and the clean, functional interface I've created!

It might feel a little too easy for you, especially considering once you understand integrating an API, it feels a little redundant and more about learning APIs and not how to make AI in python.

From not knowing anything about Python, to understanding step by step how to build many different plots was incredible. I have learned so much with this course and can't wait to implement them in my future endeavors in my coding future.

Although this language was challenging to navigate, the experience pushed me to think critically and expand my skills. I genuinely enjoyed learning it and gaining confidence along the way.

I now understand how to structure a webpage, style elements effectively, and fix errors by identifying small mistakes such as incorrect selectors or event handlers. One of the most valuable lessons I learned is the importance of problem-solving and patience in coding. When my code did not work as expected, I learned how to debug step by step instead of giving up. Creating features like a dark-theme toggle and organizing images using CSS grid helped me see how powerful and creative coding can be.

This course helped me understand how to use JavaScript and Axios to integrate a weather forecast API in a real, practical way. This was definitely not the easiest and required lots of dedication and consistency i had to learn Javascript which was the biggest challenge for me . still all the new skills i have learnt like better integration of API's,CSS were such a delight for me

Advanced Python was definitely ADVANCED compared to the Basics. I learned so much, and I am so excited to add my work to my portfolio. I enjoyed learning how to make graphs, and functions are becoming more and more understandable as I continue practicing. I will definitely look for ways to extend my learning of Python while working toward a new career in backend development.

It's a beautiful experience taking on the Python course, and I look forward to learn more in the advanced stage.

Learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with SheCodes has been amazing! I built my Hockey Hobby landing page from scratch, added links, animations, and a responsive grid, and even implemented a dark/light theme toggle. This project let me practice everything I learned in the SheCodes basics and gain real hands-on experience turning my ideas into working web pages. I feel confident applying my skills to future projects.

Over this course I learned how to build a dynamic weather application using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I practiced fetching data from an API, displaying current weather conditions, and integrating a weekly forecast with icons and temperatures. Overall, I really enjoyed the process of turning live data into an interactive web page and seeing my code come to life.

In this project, I created an interactive web page about Ballet Dance using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. HTML was used to structure the content, including headings, images, buttons, and text. CSS was used to style the page and improve its appearance. I applied CSS Grid to display images in a responsive gallery and used CSS transformations and transitions to add hover effects and smooth animations. These features make the page more engaging and visually appealing. I also implemented a dark theme toggle using JavaScript. By clicking a button, users can switch between light mode and dark mode. The selected theme is saved using localStorage, allowing the preference to remain even after refreshing the page. JavaScript was further used to add simple interactivity, such as an alert message when clicking the “Learn Ballet” button. Overall, this project demonstrates my understanding of basic front-end web development concepts and my ability to combine structure, styling, and interactivity into a functional and user friendly webpage

I’ve also built essential UI flows such as login, sign-up, and forgot password pages, which helped me understand how real-world websites are structured and function. Most importantly, SheCodes helped me translate my Figma designs into real, working code, bridging the gap between design and development.
