Taking the SheCodes React Development course has been a truly rewarding experience for me. From the very beginning of my coding journey, this course has played a crucial role in helping me grow and gain more confidence. It was definitely challenging at times, especially as someone new to React, but the way the course is structured made it all manageable. I enjoyed the workshop a lot. The video instructions were good and I was able to learn a lot in a short period of time. The challenges were fun, although sometimes challenging. It is a nice feature that you can always access the community. I feel well prepared and motivated to keep going and learn even more. It is a good and fun way to start and learn about coding. She Codes Plus Add-on was such a fun experience! Iβve coded in HTML and CSS before, but building something functional felt like levelling up. It was so cool to see my world clock come together, and I was surprised by how much I remembered from the earlier modules. Things really started to click, and it reminded me how far Iβve come. The SheCodes Responsive Add-on was an incredible experience! I created a website inspired by something Iβm passionate aboutβmy city, London. From beautiful grids to interactive cards and even an HTML table, I included it all: a hero section, a Footer, Embeds, and CSS Filters. I made it fully responsive for smaller devices without using Bootstrap. Thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team for breaking everything down step by step. Having an example website and a Figma design to follow made a big differenceβit really helped me visualize and bring my ideas to life. Iβm so proud of what I built and how much Iβve learned. I definitely feel more confident coding websites now!

When I decided to code, I thought, "How hard can it be? Spoiler alert: very difficult. At first, it was like trying to understand the further math I never learnt from school, with the bonus that if you miss a step or mess up one tiny symbol, nothing works, and your laptop silently judges you. But I kept going. Slowly, the chaos started to make sense. Over time, I started to laugh at the bugs and celebrate little wins, thanks to Shecodes and the founder, Matthieu Delac.
I've learned so much in such a short time and it was so much fun to build this clock!

As I progressed, I was introduced to the incredible potential of AI. For my final SheCodes project, I developed a Poem Generator powered by AI, a tool that generates beautiful, original poems with just a click. It felt amazing to merge front-end skills I learned (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) with the intelligence of AI. A great introduction to React. The lessons were clear and easy to follow, and having a set timeframe for the project was definitely useful. The course provides a solid foundation and is a good starting point, especially if you value learning by doing. That said, it's worth exploring other resources alongside it to get a better grasp of certain concepts.

My journey to learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript has been amazing, what I love the most was the detailed video explanation by our instructor Mattπ, sometimes when my code didn't run I felt frustrated but what stood out for me in this workshop was when our instructor said in a certain video "Have fun and Google is your friend, research, don't copy code but use it as inspiration and that you can get help from us if you feel stuck". I love these motivational words because during my project, I felt down at some moments, but recalling those words motivated me a lot. I am so excited that despite all the hurdles, I was able to complete my project, and most of all, I had quite a lot of fun coding. Working on this real-world data visualization project using Advanced Python was exciting and rewarding. It pushed me to go beyond the basics, exploring file handling and dictionaries, and most importantly, using powerful libraries like matplotlib to visualize large datasets. I learned how to structure my code into reusable functions, manage data efficiently with dictionaries, and bring the data to life with clear and colorful plots. It was challenging at times, but seeing the charts come together made it totally worth it. This project helped me feel much more confident working with data in Python!
Doing these extra projects has been a really positive experience. Even though I completed the 'Basics' workshop some time ago and I'm currently busy with the Responsive workshop, I found it nice and quite enjoyable to work on these add-on projects.
