I did SheCodes basics in early 2024 and I genuinely forgot how interactive and easy to use it is. Although I now know some of the concepts taught in this specific course, I learned a lot of new valuable things as well. So far, I'm very glad I bought the bootcamp course.

It has been a great learning experience.

I started SheCodes plus with very little JavaScript knowledge, and honestly, it felt overwhelming at first. But with practice and the SheCodes lessons, my understanding has broadened and I'm now able to build real, working projects on my own. I'm most proud of creating Atmo because it showed me flames, but it helped me to learn hard things although i almost gave up, I'm glad I didn't! RECOMMENDED

The AI workshop was a really fun and practical introduction to building with AI, encouraging creativity and independent problem solving. Creating my own AI Travel Mood Generator made the learning experience feel very real and rewarding. The step-by-step structure also made API integration and user experience concepts much less intimidating.

SheCodes has been such an inspiring experience. The lessons are clear, practical, and motivating, and the community is incredibly supportive. It’s empowering to learn new skills at your own pace while feeling genuinely encouraged along the way. The React workshop at SheCodes was an amazing learning experience. I built a responsive weather app using React and gained practical experience with components, API integration, and modern front-end development. The workshop greatly improved my confidence and problem-solving skills as a developer.

I started learning at SheCodes with the intention of becoming a developer. At first, I fell in love with front-end development, but when I joined the Python course, I realized how vast it can be. I truly discovered the “power” of Python, how many doors it can open, and how many paths I can follow. I am now genuinely very interested in diving deeper and deeper into the world of Python. Before, this language seemed so “nerdy” to me that my goal was only to learn the basics just to understand how it works. However, as the course progressed and with Matt Delac’s explanations, I realized I can do much more than that. So, thank you, SheCodes.

SheCodes Responsive teaches you how to build websites and flexible layouts in a way that finally makes them click. Challenging at times, but that's what makes it rewarding. The project was genuinely fun to build, and watching it adapt across every screen size felt like a real win. Bringing together everything I learned and watching it adapt beautifully across devices felt like a real achievement.

While I know this introductory course is just the tip of the iceberg, it sparked enough curiosity in me to keep pushing forward and learning more. Amid the numerous graduation ceremonies happening this month, I’m thrilled to officially announce my “graduation” from the SheCodes Front-End Development program. This has been an immensely rewarding journey, as both a technical achievement and a personal milestone. Along the way, I've found striking similarities between the tech and music worlds: both demand discipline, the ability to navigate complex technical challenges, and harnessing the creativity to produce something that is not only functional, but thoughtful and well-crafted. What began as a personal challenge (to prove to myself that I could step confidently into the role of “tech girlie”) quickly strengthened my resourcefulness, persistence, and confidence in my ability to learn and build. I’m incredibly grateful to Matt Delac and the SheCodes team for creating such a comprehensive and engaging program, and for fostering a community that continues to support and empower women in tech!

Joining SheCodes has been an amazing experience for me as an aspiring Software Developer. Just finished another SheCodes project, and I really enjoyed it! It was fun and challenging in the best way, and at the same time, easy to follow and understand. I am excited to keep learning and building more projects here.

I just completed the Plus project with SheCodes and it was such an incredible experience! The lessons were clear, practical, and completely transformed my coding confidence. I loved how hands-on the project was, it made all the pieces click together perfectly. I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come, and now that I'm diving into SheCodes Plus, I can't wait to keep building and learning.

I recently completed the SheCode course focused on building a weather application using real-time API data, and it has been an incredibly valuable learning experience. Before this course, I had a basic understanding of web development, but I struggled with connecting front-end projects to real-world data sources. Through the course, I learned how to work with APIs, handle real-time data, and display dynamic information in a clean and user-friendly way. Building a fully functional weather app helped me understand how JavaScript, HTML, and APIs work together in real projects. I especially appreciated how the course broke down complex concepts into simple, practical steps that I could immediately apply. What stood out the most for me was the hands-on approach. Instead of just theory, I was building something real from the beginning, which boosted my confidence as a developer. I now feel more capable of working on more advanced projects and exploring more APIs on my own. I’m grateful for this opportunity and proud of what I’ve accomplished through the SheCode course. It has strengthened my interest in web development and motivated me to continue learning and improving my skills.

Learning React was a challenge worth having, thank you to human support for the support

The course was easy to follow and provided clear step-by-step guidance throughout the learning process. It helped me build practical skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScrip within web applications. The hands-on approach made it easier to understand key development concepts and apply them in real projects.

Through this project, I gained practical experience in front-end web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I also learned version control and repository management using Git and GitHub, including committing, pushing, and maintaining code in a professional development workflow. In addition, I worked with AI integration concepts by incorporating AI-generated content and understanding how intelligent text generation can enhance user interaction within web applications.

This React workshop was amazing! Building the dictionary app was challenging but incredibly rewarding. I loved learning how to connect multiple APIs, handle live data, and style the project into a clean, professional layout. Highly recommend it!

Definitely a learning curve taking on React but it has been such a rewarding challenge being able to understand more and more as we go along. It helps being able to follow along with Matt and I look forward to discovering more about React and all of it's capabilites.

The dictionary app was super cool -- very unique API setup and it was great to learn how to add the images API too!

I completed this course at one of the lowest points in my life — only to prove to myself that no matter how deep the hopelessness gets, as long as we are alive, hope still exists, and its roots never truly die. And one more thing I’ve learned: never become too attached to anything or anyone in life. Even the best things. Because attachment can slowly weaken a person without them realizing it. At a very young age, life forced me to learn lessons far beyond my years. And although I feel exhausted from everything life and learning have put me through, deep down, I’m still somewhat grateful for all of it.

The World Clock project was such a great learning experience! I loved building a real-world project using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while learning how to work with different time zones and live updates. Deploying my project on Netlify and connecting it to GitHub made me feel much more confident as a developer. SheCodes has made coding feel fun, practical, and achievable, and I’m excited to keep learning and building more projects!

This basic Python course was beginner-friendly, practical, and easy to follow. I gained confidence in coding and learned valuable programming fundamentals through hands-on exercises.

I gave the SheCodes Basics class 5 stars because I genuinely had such a great experience with it. Before starting, coding felt a bit intimidating, but the course made it feel approachable and actually fun. The lessons were explained in a very clear and easy-to-follow way, so I never felt completely lost or overwhelmed. One thing I especially loved was the structure of the course. The videos are short, focused, and straight to the point, which made it much easier for me to stay concentrated and absorb the information step by step. I also really liked that I could complete the lessons at my own pace and spread them out over different days depending on my schedule. That flexibility made learning feel much less stressful and more enjoyable. The hands-on exercises and challenges after each lesson helped me immediately practice what I had just learned, which made everything stick much better. It is very rewarding to see yourself actually build things instead of only watching theory. Overall, I would absolutely recommend SheCodes Basics to anyone who wants to start learning coding in a beginner-friendly and motivating way.

This workshop was challenging, but allowed me to learn new and very usefull skills to make my websites responsive.

OMG!!! This was very challenging, I had a small bug that took me a few days to figure out (had to replace this -with _).I learned to be patient with myself and also to pay attention to every detail. Had to take a lot of deep breaths, but I loved every minute.

Studying Front-End Development at SheCodes was a turning point for me. I originally came from a psychology background and decided to pursue a career change into tech, initially believing I would learn full-stack development. Throughout the bootcamp, I gained skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, React, Responsive Design, and APIs. The biggest challenge was making such a drastic career shift, but the learning experience was so engaging and accessible that I never lost motivation. What I enjoyed most was seeing my progress, adding my own creativity to projects, and becoming confident enough to continue learning independently. Although I am still searching for my first opportunity in tech, I truly believe this journey is already changing my life.

The SheCodes Add-on was a fun and creative experience. I enjoyed learning how to use CSS Grid, animations, and dark/light themes to build an interactive landing page that reflects my love for reading.

Not an easy one, as you get further into coding the more complex it is going to be. But making mistakes will teach you how to solve the problems. Even if it takes time to discover them, the important thing here is to have them solved. That's what learning a new skill is supposed to be. I still have a lot of improvements to make. But for now I'm happy with the results so far.

Built a responsive landing page for my favorite city, NYC! I learned how to structure layouts using responsive grids and how to add embeds to add real dynamic content. I recommend this course because it made me feel more confident in my coding abilities.

Working on responsive design completely changed the way I see web development. I learned how important it is to create experiences that feel smooth and beautiful on every screen size, not just on desktop. Responsive design made me appreciate the balance between creativity and functionality, and it’s one of the parts of front-end development I enjoy the most.

Learned many concepts in just 2 weeks, but they were easy to understand.

One of my favorite things I learned while building this cooking blog was creating a dark theme. I always loved using dark mode on websites, and learning how to build it myself made me feel really empowered. Seeing the page change themes with just one click showed me how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript work together to create interactive experiences. Every new feature I add makes coding feel more exciting and creative.
