This is the third course Iβve taken with SheCodes, and I can honestly say Iβve learned so much. The content is clear and easy to follow, and Matt does a great job explaining things step by step, especially when it comes to connecting to an API and understanding the logic behind it. What I really value is that the course doesnβt just give you answers, it encourages you to stay curious and explore different ways of solving things. Like the SheCodes team says, they propose some solutions, but theyβre not the only ones. Youβre free to go beyond whatβs taught, or take it at your own pace and both are totally valid. Itβs a great learning experience, and Iβd definitely recommend it if you're starting out or looking to build confidence in web development.
I signed up as I was keen to learn something new and be challenged. It wasn't easy, however I found it really fun and enjoyed every moment of it. I'm really surprised I was able to create what I did!
Covered some more advanced HTML and explored JS in greater depth particularly date formats and time zones. It was a great way to practice and revise skills already learnt.
Another great learning experience! AI is very interesting and I would recommend to anyone wanting to learn a new skill.

React needs your full attention during these weeks as it is a steep learning curve all the way. It requires a lot of dedication to reading additional material online and being curious in how the different aspects of React work. Once you get familiar with React it is extremely fun and versatile. It shows you a whole new way of working with JavaScript and takes what you have learned previously to a new level.
This workshop was by far the most challenging yet rewarding. I have learnt a whole lot.
As a first time coder, it was an amazing experience. Each coding project allowed me to apply what I've learned, and combine my creativity with logic. I feel more motivated to keep learning and growing in tech.

This course covers a tremendous amount of information. It continues to build on previous information from the Python Basics course. It helped me to take notes as I progressed through the weekly sessions so I could refer to them as I completed the challenges. I think what is most reassuring is that Matt continually emphasizes that it is impossible to remember all the different codes as he walks us through each new learning. He demonstrates 'the process of searching' for ways to solve your coding issue which for a first-time python-learner is essential.
I really enjoyed the SheCodes Python workshop and found it to be a great learning experience. I liked learning how to manipulate data and create plots, as those are practical skills I can use in my everyday job.

I had a blast learning how powerful JavaScript and CSS are. Even though JavaScript is a bit tricky but Matt simplified it for me. To create the change theme feature was epic since I've used it before in different apps and platforms. Now learning how to create this feature myself, is truly amazing! Learning Python has been really challenging but was alot of fun. It took alot of coffee and late nights but I got through it in the end. I can really see the potential of Python but it will take more training, writing code and testing before I really get the hang of it.
It was really fun learning about API integration.
The workshop was a bit more challenging but it took my skills to the next level. I deepened my understanding of coding and learned more advanced techniques that made my landing page more interactive. It was interesting to see how the three different coding languages interact.
I am so glad I took 'SheCodes Plus' prior to learning Python. I was familiar with so many of the core functions, thanks to stumbling through JavaScript the previous lesson. Matt often made the mistake of saying JS 'arrays' when referring to PY 'lists'. This was an unintentional blessing because it was hammering in previously learned concepts without trying! Python has a much easier flow than JS, so I enjoyed the ease in that. However, it is its own language, so it requires you to focus. I strongly recommend using the Pomodoro Technique to get through this workshop. Happy coding :)

I really enjoyed this add-on workshop. I was stuck on some javascript for the final challenge, but I was able to figure it out on my own which was really rewarding. It built on everything we have learned so far and finished with a useful challenge that put many of the new skills in to practise!

I wanted to learn more about creating web pages but could not find a good platform to learn. with shecodes I am able to explore new things, enhance my grasp over the subject. This was a fun little add-on to build on existing concepts learn in the previous React workshop. Definitely push yourself and use the suggested SheCodes API, as it will help you put into practice what you've already learnt, without having a video to follow.
