Another great SheCodes course. Learning React is a lot of fun and it really tests out your problem-solving skills! So much support, community and inspiration on the Slack. A very challenging and rewarding experience. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
The workshop materials are so informative and the videos are very easy to understand. I also appreciate the support from the slack team. I really enjoyed each step of my learning including the challenges and not forgetting the feeling of finally figuring out a concept.
My name is Sthandiwe Msweli from South Africa and my coding journey so far has been amazing. So before I started coding I graduated in Business and information Manangement and I was not happy with what I've studyed but because I wanted to have a qulification and get a job so I can earn a living so i went on with it. Fast cracking my story after I graduated had no luck in finding a job so after a year, on my second year of staying at home without any luck of getting a job, I did a free trail in coding on some bootcamp and I fall inlove with it but to enroll to that bootcamp you needed funding which I did'nt have. So I did my reserch and I ended up founding Delac Foundation that when I start my coding journey and it has been a wonderful journey and I thank the Lord for this opportunity still on it and excicted for more learning and more adventure in coding π plus I have completed my shecodes plus it was challenging but yet amazing experience the fact that I now have my first project that operates with real life data it amazes me Iβm learning a lot can not wait for my next lessons and project β€οΈ

This is a great opportunity to test your capability and see how far you can go. Every week became challenging but that did not stop me as I would take my time as the program allowed me to work at my own pase. This opportunity has showed me that there is still more to learn to become a developer and the reward is seeing your own work come alive.

it was a really challenging stage using React for the first time, it wasnt easy but it is definitely worth it. I learnt so much and it is truly amazing.
I do appreciate the high quality of the course. Video-lessons are beginner-friendly and well-structured. You go thought plenty of exercises during the course, so you practice mostly. All questions i had always were answered on Slack channel or through Athena AI. I do like to learn when it's interesting, fresh, practical, flexible, supportive. And all of this is about the course.
Really enjoyed learning these new and more advanced skills from the Basic Workshops. I loved building the weather app, whilst challenging at times, it is VERY satisfying when things click and the app works! It is also a great to learn about hosting and the day-to-day platforms software developers use such as GitHub. Excited to build on my knowledge base with more workshops.
The SheCodes Basics Add-On really helped to solidify the knowledge I gained from SheCodes Basics. I have had so much fun learning how to make the landing page look just how I want. It is easy to follow along with Matt, and he makes everything very understandable.

Really interesting, a pretty steep learning curve but after a few WTF moments things started to click. Finally feel like I'm beginning to understand javascipt by the end of this course. Big thanks to Matt for making everything so clear and easy to follow, and to the SheCodes staff for being quick and helpful on Slack :). Would recommend the SheCodes Weather API too.
I love everything so far that SheCodes provides, from the workshops to the community. I've learned so much more in the last three weeks then when I tried to learn on my own. When I first started, I thought building a multi-paged website would be really difficult. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that the instructions were easy to follow, and I was able to create my first portfolio website without any trouble. It was a really exciting and satisfying experience, and I learned so much from the program.
SheCodes is learning to code made easy. I really liked that the course was split up in small modules. This makes it absolutely manageable beside a full time job.

SheCodes React has been a fun and interesting course. It has been great to see the similarities and the differences with vanilla javascript, and has certainly been helpful to learn some modern tech!
