This is a good way to learn from basic for the students who need to join with IT and who stayed away from IT for long time. I enjoyed lot. Cheers!

Even though I was always interested in learning how to code, I wasn't able to find a course for me - all the courses out there were extremely technical and for people with an engineering background. SheCodes has found a way to translate the complexity of coding into lessons that are chewable and understandable for everybody. Furthermore, the program is structured in a way that builds on top of the knowledge learnt and that helps build confidence and keeps you hooked. I highly recommend the course.

Learning step by step, while practicing and consolidating previous knowledge adquired is the winning formula to keep people motivated to go above and beyond, enjoying doing the workshop. I highly recommend!

I really enjoyed learning more in the Basics Add-On workshop, especially the final project which was advanced. I have no previous coding knowledge and thought I wouldn't be able to do it but following Matt along step-by-step really helped me and I am left feeling a great sense of achievement! I loved learning about responsiveness in websites and SEO compatibility. It was a very instructive journey and it really showed the way the workflow goes and exactly how app-building works. However, I did not enjoy it quite as much as the others, it is the first time I found workshops repetitive. Perhaps it is needed due to the topic but I was about 2% less enthusiastic. Still would absolutely recommend.

I'm glad SheCodes added more to learn in Basic Course.

It is a valuable opportunity to learn basics of React and get some practice while building up-to-date projects.

Thanks so much Matt and the whole team! I had an incredible time learning a new skill. I was very afraid to start at first, but after taking a couple of lessons, I knew right away that I could take it easy. All lessons are explained in simple and accessible language, followed by assignments that, even without a lot of memorizing the theory, help you easily learn the material you've learned. I am one hundred percent sure I will recommend SheCodes to all my friends who want to tie their lives to programming!

Day by Day I gain a lot from SheCodes learning. Challenges work for me that make me perfect. The most helpful skill is to get a deeper knowledge and understanding of JS. I always want to stay updated and know the latest technology. When I found "SheCodes" I got very interested to dive deeper and learn working procedures, devops, backend development, which could be difficult to learn on our own, but even during this first, basic course I have been able to push my limits. I really love that I'm part of a team, that I have someone that is reviewing my work, that I am able to ask questions, that I get very good at debugging (since I also can help other student's with their problems through Slack) and the lesson setup with just right amount of information to get me going on the right track. I'm looking forward to the next workshop.

This was such an informative workshop, I would really recommend it to anyone who is serious about entering into the tech workplace. Matt builds on things you have previously learned and teaches you how to take your work to the next level and make it more professional. The lesson challenges are fun and the end project is challenging but satisfying to create.

This course is incredibly well-structured, and the lessons are broken down into manageable chunks that are easy to follow. The video instructions were straightforward and to the point. The Basic workshop is a breeze for anyone with prior coding experience. Despite being a beginner's level course, though, it does not dwell on any one topic and speeds through the necesssary knowledge. Even with some coding experience, I learned a few new things with how Javascript behaves alongside HTML.

I am currently a Content Manager / Financial Counselor who is passionate about learning new things. I am a working mother and have been trying to break into web development for a couple of years. Many employers require an education in Computer Science or a Certification in Web Development, but I have neither. SheCodes has provided me with the opportunity to gain experience and knowledge at my own pace. I hope to enter the field as a Front-End Developer soon after graduating from SheCodes Max.

I have been so happy with my SheCodes experience. I was most worried about learning React but Matt made it so easy to follow and understand. I liked building another weather app because it really shows you the differences between JS and React.

Very clear explanation step by step. Later videos also repeat things explained earlier. This ensures that you don't forget certain important things. It is also easy to follow with the examples next to it. It was also very nice that you can reschedule the deadline of your projects. This allows you to get to everything at a quiet time and learn everything really well without getting stressed about the upcoming deadline.

I loved this workshop! A great foundational tool to learn more about HTML, CSS, & Javascript. Can't wait to continue my coding journey!

I found the workshops and lessons easy to understand, the format of watch, do, review is a really good way to learn. I think the workshops in general are competitively priced but time will tell if future employers accept these qualifications. Either way, it's a great introduction to coding.

The SheCodes Basics workshop was my absolute first step towards coding. It has been an amazing journey so far, as the lessons are very instructive and concise, so we can practice a lot and really learn by doing. Moreover, the challenges are quite fun. As a homeschool mom of 2 I wasn't sure if I would have the time to try to learn to code. I am amazed at what I was able to learn in 3 weeks. Matt's teaching style made the content easy to understand and digest. The challenges at the end of each lesson were great at allowing me to apply what I had just learned. SheCodes makes learning really fun with a great balance of theory, practicals and code-a-long videos. I've found that the structure of the lessons has helped me to pick up concepts quickly and you do feel you have achieved something each week with the homework tasks. I've also picked up lots of tools and tips that aren't necessarily taught in other self-learning platforms I've tried.
