Honestly speaking, in this "plus" class, there is a lot to learn and it was kind of overwhelming. At some point I wanted to give up but the fact that there is always people (learners like me and SheCodes team) to help, kept me going. Loot at me now! I am elated that I completed this. I love how Matt teaches by first showing how to do one or two simple steps and immediately afterwards, the student can practice. The homework requirements were great to keep me on track and apply everything I learned that week to test whether I truly did understand what was being taught. I highly recommend this workshop!

i came into this course with no tech background but with every session and every week my passion for tech is growing drastically. She Code breaks down the work so well and i want to learn more.

I am 25 and a stay at home mom. I came across SheCodes on a social media platform. I really appreciated that they had a free 1 hour class to discuss what they do, how they work, and how easy it can be to learn coding, through them. Being a stay at home mom has its difficulties, and I really appreciated that it wasn't time consuming. It did still take a lot of effort, but I finished the basic course, and really LOVED my entire experience. I have now completed the plus course, I truly feel I have found a love for coding and am excited for the opportunities it can bring me and my family. I can't wait to see what's to come after this. This course was both challenging and exciting to learn about. There was a few hiccups along the way but the structure of the course affords you the opportunity to apply your mind and think out the box to solve whatever challenge you face at a particular time. Overall the course was very fascinating and the delivery of course content is logical and you can follow the flow of the code make sense of how each function works and what output you can expect from that delivery.

Highly recommended for begginers who want to be able to learn fast how to do a website. Very didatic and easily explained. I really loved it!! Very exited to keep developing my code skills with Matt. Thank you Matt and all the SheCodes team!

I really enjoyed doing this coding course. I want to appreciate Matthieu Delac and SheCodes team for creating a well structured course. The learning process was amazing and i enjoyed every step of the course. Learning coding has been difficult however, SheCodes made it easier.

This is a really good foundation course for anyone who is considering to start a career in web development. Learning style and method provided in this course are suited for a self-learner like me. I have really enjoyed doing the course!

I must say i really enjoyed the Shecodes basic class as a beginner with no idea of what coding is actually all about. The challenges and homework made it much easier for me to understand the 'learn videos' and most importantly the opportunity of learning at my own convience and pace made it much more easier for me as a beginner. After being totally mesmerised by the free one-hour introduction session by Matt, which I curiously signed up for, I am SO glad that I took the leap and enrolled in the SheCodes Basics course. It has ignited an excitement in me for the future of my career that I haven't felt in a long time! This workshop is preparing me for a career move, and I am really happy with what I learned. Having the main project to work towards is so motivating and I love the tips that Matt adds in that help with managing professional workflows.

SheCodes Basics was soooo fun! I found it very interesting how HTML elements and javascript works. Exploring all CSS options, color palettes and gradients was super fun playing around with the colors and refreshing the page to see what it looks like! I am 💯 keen on learning more & participating on the monthly challenges! 🤓 SheCodes has really opened a whole new world for me! These workshops just keep getting better and better. I had such a wonderful time building this new vanilla app and learning the bits of code along the way. This course was a great introduction to coding! It was greatly paced, and I feel like I learned a lot, even for a short amount of time!

This is tough for me to learn as a hands-on learner. So to conquer this I would type my code along with the lectures. This is very well laid out and well done. I am looking forward to the next course!

The Basics Add-on course was great! I found it to be so helpful to work along Matt while he was coding the different lessons. This add-on course was also great as it was a good refresher to the lessons we learned during the Basics course.
