I've really enjoyed all of the Shecodes workshops. I've learned a lot which I'm already using in my own business. I also have really appreciated having a bit of a deadline to get things completed by. Before signing up, I didn't have any knowledge about front-end. However, thanks to the way each lesson was designed and the resources provided by the course, I learned a lot and made significant progress in a short period of time.
It was hard at first to take in so much information at once, I even had to watch more than a few videos multiple times because I didn't understand it the first time around. I feel so proud of myself now that I finished the first course. I'm excited to keep learning more in-depth material!

Having experience working with design software's like Photoshop and Illustrator the concept of CSS was fairly easy to grasp and made sense. JavaScript was a completely new language to me but reminded me of DAX functions that I've some, but limited, knowledge of. I consider myself more creative than analytical and the logic of JavaScript took some time figure out. The workshop was a lot of fun and Matt is very pedagogical and made it easy to follow and not get overwhelmed. The lessons gave me a great foundation to build on and now I know what to look for when I inspect the developer tool in the browser. The course left me wanting to learn more!
I had the honor of participating in this workshop on HTML, CSS and JS and it was an exciting experience. The instructors had a great command of the material and offered clear and understandable explanations. During the workshop, I learned many interesting tricks and techniques that allow you to create attractive and functional web pages. sheCodes is such a wonderful platform to learn coding, such a wonderful and fun experience! Even though it's challenging at times, i had a great time learning with Matt, he teaches every lesson with simplicity.
Well, what to add. The structure of course, hints from Matt, everything, literally everything was so good that I was able to do final project for 2.5 hours. Of couse, before of it were weeks (including so needed extensions) dedicated to deep learning of documentation and investigating, but in the end I'm very proud of myself. I did it, and you will.
I really enjoyed the SheCodes basics course. I didn't know if I was going to enjoy learning how to code, but I had so much fun doing the challenges each week.
