In this course, I've learned the workflow of frontend development and how to utilize APIs, work with Git, and host websites and many other topics. It was so fascinating to work on the weather app project, although it was pretty challenging to make all the features work using the real data. I am so glad that I have finished my project and I am looking forward to learning more.
Matt is an awesome instructor, he teaches each concept very clearly. The lessons are well structured. The mini challenges and the weekly projects really help in applying and better understanding the knowledge learnt from the lessons. There's also a technical team that is always ready to help with any technical questions one may have.
This project was definitely a challenge for me, but it was a good challenge. I had to step away from the workshop for a while due to personal reasons and ended up restarting the project once. However, the skills and tools I gained from the previous workshops as well as the easy to follow video lessons really helped me get back on track and complete the workshop without too many frustrations. Overall, I learned a lot through this workshop, and it was also fun to complete.
I missed the Add-on lessons and decided to start over again from the basics, as always there is something new to learn different from what the main course has to offer. Great jobπSheCodes team.
I did the basic program to see if i wanted to continue learning about programming. I enjoyed how you have to do challenges that set you up for your weekly homework assignments. I enjoyed everything about SheCodes and the challenges I had to learn to overcome. I enjoyed knowing there's a whole community to be able to rely on if I couldn't figure it out on my own. I plan on doing the SheCodes Max program next

As an absolute beginner who a has huge appetite for a career in tech but doesn't have an idea how or where to start from, I stumbled on Delac Foundation on google through my search for a perfect place where I could satisfy my appetite at my own pace. With just three weeks of learning, I could develop a basic landing and interactive page using html, CSS and JavaScript. The workshops are simplified, practical and very easy to grasp even without any background in IT. I have already recommended it to my friends who have interest in tech careers.
Before SheCodes, I've tried other free code camps/coding websites but was always left frustrated as I couldn't understand what I was learning or what I was doing. However, the step-by-step (very hand-holding) approach by Matt and his team has restored my confidence and helped me successfully build a webpage. My advice for new beginners who are eager to create: follow the instructions before getting carried away and wanting to build your own hobby project. Trust me. This will save you a lot of time and frustration.
