Learning through the Delac Foundation has been an absolutely exciting journey. They have made coding fun through their interactive, detailed lessons, making it easy for a complete beginner to understand.
At first, I was so anxious and excited at the same time. Because I don't know what I am getting into but when Matt started teaching us one by one then my confidence has started to grow. Now am happy that I was able to learn and gaining knowledge on this and be able to build a website. Looking for ward to learn more from SheCodes.

This course gave us many exciting tools to learn about HTML, CSS, and Javascript. They used simple explanations but let us fly our imagination with jobs to deliver. It is an exciting and trainer course. I love it.
This was so much fun! Yes, there are times when it can be extremely frustrating, as with learning anything new, but it's so worth it to code and see your designs and functions come to life. I've grown to love coding because I get to be both creative and analytical at the same time. I had a blast learning and Matt, you are AWESOME!!

I recently completed the SheCodes program, led by Matt, and it was an incredible experience. SheCodes Basic Workshop was an excellent learning experience to learn from scratch the basics of HTML, CSS & Java. I never thought I would be able to achieve all of this in just 3 weeks!

SheCodes is really the best way to learn to code. The video explanations are easy to understand and easy to follow. Having finished the Basic workshop, I saw how the team really thought of the smallest things that would help the participants in their learning journey. They provided all these additional resources which are very useful to beginners: cheatsheets, tools, fast support from the team, and access to a community of learners, etc.

They were things I just thought I would not be able to do in this lifetime. For example build an actual weather app that shows the current date, temperature, time and the forecast for the next day. But with Shecodes I managed to learn how to do it in a matter of weeks and also build my own. After completing the SheCodes Basics it took some time for me to complete the SheCodes Plus course. At first I was skeptical with how much I'd learn because I'm just "following tutorials and doing exactly as I was told" but Matt is an excellent teacher! He explained everything in such a way that it's easy to follow. I noticed that I understood what I was doing after friends asked me for an explanation on my codes which surprised me a lot. Can't wait to see what the React course has in store for me :)

I recently completed the SheCodes Plus workshop, and it was one of the most valuable and rewarding experiences I've ever had. As someone with little to no experience in coding prior to attending this program, I was initially apprehensive about whether I would be able to keep up with the curriculum. However, from day one, Matt's lessons were comprehensive and the community was supportive, and the curriculum was structured in such a way that even complete beginners like me were able to grasp the concepts. What I appreciated most about the SheCodes was the emphasis on hands-on, project-based learning. Instead of just reading about coding concepts in a textbook or watching lectures, we were actually coding from day one. I have really enjoyed my SheCodes Basics experience, the platform worked really well with my preferred learning style of hands-on, allowing me to get stuck in with the experiential practice. I found it challenging in a positive way, spending hours immersed in focussed problem-solving and feeling a great sense of achievement upon completing the tasks. It was also great to see the elements of HTML, CSS and Javascript come together for the final project!

Excellent course, would highly recommend to everyone who would like to start coding! Each week, there are a number of tutorials which you can watch when convenient and you can apply what you learned in the homework assignment. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow and the homework is exactly the right level of challenging.
Joining SheCodes was the best thing I could ever do for myself. I've learned a lot of new things in a short period of time and the weekly homework helps you in practicing my skills. I'm looking forward to learning more things in the SheCodes Plus program and later getting a remote job which has been my dream so that I can work from anywhere.

What a fantastic introduction to coding! After completing four SheCodes workshops, I feel empowered to make my own projects and continue my journey with web development. React isn't the easiest to learn, but Matt is an excellent teacher and the Slack team is amazing. The learning is project-based, fun, and engaging. I highly recommend!

I started the SheCodes Basics course to help me with my current employment, as a digital marketer I make regular updates to our company's website, manage Google Tag Manager, Email Marketing and much more. Even after the first week of this course, it opened up more for my job role. I can now read the code I'm looking at and it has been a great diving board to learn more in the coding world.

I took a hiatus from my project on SheCodes. But when I returned, I found it easy to relearn some of the basics/pick up where I left off.
SheCodes was really fun and was very educational for me. Matt was a wonderful teacher who was very encouraging and made everything easy to understand. This course was very well structured and I learned a lot within the 3 weeks.
Thanks to Matt and his team for this great opportunity. I had a lot of fun, it is great to have a challenge with most of the lectures to apply what you have learned and I loved to have actual results in the end that I can show to others. I started this course to get some basic knowledge in coding as I am trying to change careers into UX Design and be better equipped to talk to developers, but I might just change course completely and switch to coding ... I am not sure yet, the jury is still out there. But who knows?
