Very easy topics and step by step lessons enough to understand but also does not spoon feed you so you learn to be more resourceful and creative which I really loved. I have a unrelated day job and the flexibility of their courses really made it easy for me to catch up. Years ago I had no clue what coding really was and once I got a bit more of an idea of it I knew it was something I wanted to learn and understand. About 2 years ago I came across a SheCodes ad offering a free coding class and I checked it out to see what coding was really about. I was very interested after the webinar lesson but didn't have the time to commit to it at that time because of college classes but now that I've graduated I knew this summer I had to take the SheCodes course. The lessons were comprehensive and fun and really made me feel like I had a special talent lol. I would totally recommend SheCodes to anyone who has no clue what coding is but would like to learn. Now I can't look at any webpage the same without thinking "I could make a button like that." and opening 'inspect' on every page and feeling amazed that I can understand what I'm looking at. SheCodes is a 10 out of 10!π€©
This section of the course was the most challenging one yet but React is a fun syntax to learn nevertheless and Matt is simply amazing - I hope he continues to teach more coding workshops because this is his calling.
I thought the lessons would be difficult to understand and everything would be frustrating but.. I was wrong! Perfect first step into learning how to code.

SheCodes Basic wasn't always easy, but the easy access to support, the well-made videos, the challenges/homework, and flexible yet straightforward structure with deadlines made it doable. I struggle with self-learning, but this structure was a good educational setup with autonomy. It was fun also. I highly recommend SheCodes!!
The React Add-on project was a great way to learn how to 1) fetch data from multiple APIs and render it in the same application and 2) go through the process of trial-and-error-ing different public APIs that best suit your application.

The course is helpful - but depends on the student. After a while the format becomes repetitive and a bit boring - not the content but the format in which the content is learned. But, recommended to begin exploring and learning about web development.

Very important moment happened during learning .There was challenge and when I started to looking for solution ,I just became numb.This happened for the first time to me ,sometimes I get angry that it doesn't work out, sometimes I'm glad when everything works as it should.And that time there was emptiness, no ideas where to start, NOTHING at all.I sat down at the computer for half a day, looked at it, got up and cried, so passed half of my dayπ .Than I pull myself together, found words of support and here I continue my path further. Understanding how React works, especially its component system, was a real challenge for me.
