I am a 3rd grade teacher and took this class to not only learn coding basics I could teach to my students, but prepare for the possibility of a new career after teaching. The format of this class was easy to follow, and the feedback was quick when I needed it. I will be taking the longer courses the next time I have a school break! Absolutely loved this course! It was really fun and brief, while also challenging at times. It was a great way to learn the basics of htlm, css, and javascript. The lecturer has a great way of teaching, too!

I have learnt so much from the Shecodes basic workshop, it was very useful and interesting. I enjoyed working on the the challenges and creating my own projects by coding. It really is beginner friendly and Matt explains to a point were you understand all the work.

I love SheCodes. I started out as trying to teach myself and I was at a point where I wanted to test my skills and learn more to round out my learning. This is the third SheCodes workshop I have completed, and it has been the most enjoyable so far! Having previously accomplished the SheCodes Plus workshop, I was excited to take on another challenge and further enhance my front-end development skills. This workshop is an incredible introduction to responsive design, multiple-page hosting, SEO, and more. Not only were the homework exercises engaging, but the final project was the most rewarding experience I have had (so far) learning with SheCodes. The online portfolio is an excellent way to showcase your coding progress and demonstrate the range of knowledge gained throughout the workshops. I can't wait to move on to the next course: SheCodes React!

Being part of Shecodes has opened a new world of learning and opportunities for my career and self development. The learning journey was fun and easy to understand and has allowed me to look at programming from a new perspective.

SheCodes React is a great course to begin learning about react.js. With the information taught, students can learn how to use APIS to build sophisticated apps & projects, like a dictionary app & a weather app. It was very educational and taught me a lot. I'm excited to hopefully use react.js in my career in the future!

Even as the material became more difficult, I was still proud of myself for how far I have come. I am a few months in now and I feel very confident with what we have learned so far. The material is something that is forever studied and learned, but all of this used to look like a foreign spoken language to me; now these are computer languages I am easily able to recognize. The flow of the work makes it easy to follow along. I am very grateful for the ease and freedom SheCodes provides while learning a new skill.

This workshop was very challenging! I really didnt care for the use of different coding sites for the homeworks. It was definitely a huge difference from she codes-basics and i did learn alot

Great workshop. I really help learn a lot more about HTML and CSS. The lessons are easily understandable and the project was fun . Really enjoyed it.

I enjoyed this course quite a bit. Learning React does feel quite advanced and like a more sophisticated way to code. However, for me, it felt like sometimes new topics weren't made very clear or not expanded upon enough, or sometimes it felt like the instructor was fumbling with their explanation a bit and that made it harder to follow (which I find odd since it's a pre-recorded video, so it should be easy to edit). That could just be my personal experience, though.

SheCodes has ignited a deep passion for coding within me. I love the way it has simplified the one time scary world of coding for me. Matt Delac is a very wonderful instructor and I can't wait to keep learning from SheCodes.

I saved this course to come back to after completing React. I wanted to give myself the opportunity to remember what I previously learned in the original Responsive course. I enjoyed working through the courses in this order because it allowed me to test myself on what I already knew. The SheCodes Plus workshop transitioned smoothly from the previous Basics workshop, continuing to teach with the same level of attention to detail and with the same focus on building from each previous lesson into the next. I enjoyed the challenge of this course to keep learning and applying new techniques, and my level of confidence in coding has grown significantly with this second SheCodes workshop. In addition to practising the fundamentals of writing HTML, CSS and JavaScript, the workshop also taught new skills, such as how to integrate APIs into an app for rapid retrieval of data, how to use GitHub, how to use a hosting service, and how to apply Bootstrap formatting. I've learned a lot, I intend to use my new skills to try to build some small projects which I've started to plan out, and I'm already looking forward to starting the next workshop!

This workshop has been very challenging, packed with lots of information and new skills that built on what we learnt in the last workshop. As a result, it has been even more rewarding to recognise that I had started to understand what I had been learning and seeing the results of the hard work paying off; all whilst being able to venture out of my comfort zone, experimenting and being creative. Overall it's challenging but fun.
