In this workshop we learned how to build a website and make it responsive on mobile devices using vanilla code.

SheCodes has helped break down coding into smaller bite-size pieces that I feel like I can cope with. There is so much to learn that it can feel incredibly daunting and therefore the small chunks of learning along with repetition really adds value to this course.

SheCodes Basics Add-on was an amazing experience! The additional lessons built perfectly on what I had already learned, helping me strengthen my coding skills with more hands-on projects and real-world applications. It is not an easy workshop. It took effort and patience not to give up as all kinds of errors occurred which was also a part of the learning process. It was good to test myself again to see if I still wanted to take this path.

This add-on was very helpful in learning a little more about building a webpage and making it responsive. I had a lot of fun completing the final project and will continue to learn and improve my work!

I bought this course as a try out run in coding and I did enjoy it. Matt explained everything perfectly and easily to understand. While I had overwhelming moments, like trying to figure out why my button doesn't work 😅, I think in the end it was worth it. Thanks to SheCodes I learned something new. ☺️

I went from not knowing what CSS was to making landing pages with alerts for my friends. This was so enjoyable and I am excited to learn more.

This workshop has been an incredible resource for learning the basics of Python and applying that knowledge to projects, all while keeping the process enjoyable.

It was fun but also challenging , and i have learnt how to design and build, and deploy an app using front end and back -end technologies, databases, APIs and debugging techniques. The module was a bit challenging but the very good thing is that i gained practical skills and seeing my website come to life and functioning well

the shecodes plus lessons where quiet challenging but very rewarding. With the knowledge gained from basics, it was much easier to follow through the weekly lessons. I worked on a World Clock project, and handling dates and time zones was trickier than I expected. However, the way the lessons were structured made everything easier to grasp. It’s been an effective hands-on learning experience.

The React workshop was really helpful in learning and understand this program. Very hands-on and I really like that the final project was very straight forward and similar to the one from the Plus Workshop.

This new part of the program was really interesting. Using AI was something I couldn’t imagine before, but once I understood the mechanism, it was quite simple (it’s basically an API call). I tried to challenge myself with slightly more complex things. It took more time, but it was exciting! I’ve learned so much, and it’s so interesting!

This was an interesting workshop, the first coding workshop I have ever tried. I can't wait to learn more and apply what I have learnt so far and seeing how the final product of all the workshops will be. I feel empowered and supported to learn even more through the foundation.

My first workshop was such an amazing experience! It felt like the perfect starting point, and it really pushed me to keep learning. Coding became so much more enjoyable, and I had a great time working on my final project. I learned a lot and had so much fun along the way!

I had a great time going through the Python AI course, building an AI Itinerary Planner! It felt really comfortable and easy to follow. Just like all the other workshops, the explanations were clear, friendly, and enjoyable, making learning fun and stress-free.

I’ve tried learning coding in the past to see if it was something I truly enjoyed. While I started to develop an interest, I always struggled to keep up. I didn’t know where to begin and felt overwhelmed by the vast amount of information scattered across the internet. With SheCodes, I was finally able to study, absorb, and even enjoy learning. The lessons are dynamic enough to keep me engaged, and everything is explained very clearly. I’m thrilled to have completed the basics course and excited to continue advancing!

Meeting CSS for the first time was really scary for me but I learnt that going over the tutorials videos over and over again helps me understand what I was struggling with better.

I wasn't sure what would come of the "Basic" class, but I surprised myself on the final project. It can be a bit overwhelming if you are new to this like I am, but I took it in strides. Matt makes it easy with the lessons being very short and to the point. These classes make it suitable for anyone to learn on their time. I figured I would try the first course and see how it went -by week two I signed up for all the classes. Really looking forward to my future.
