The most challenging course so far! I really wanted to learn react, it was undoubtedly the hardest course so far but also the most rewarding! My name is Sthandiwe Msweli from South Africa and my coding journey so far has been amazing. So before I started coding I graduated in Business and information Manangement and I was not happy with what I've studyed but because I wanted to have a qulification and get a job so I can earn a living so i went on with it. Fast cracking my story after I graduated had no luck in finding a job so after a year, on my second year of staying at home without any luck of getting a job, I did a free trail in coding on some bootcamp and I fall inlove with it but to enroll to that bootcamp you needed funding which I did'nt have. So I did my reserch and I ended up founding Delac Foundation that when I start my coding journey and it has been a wonderful journey and I thank the Lord for this opportunity still on it and excicted for more learning and more adventure in coding π plus I have completed my shecodes plus and responsive it was challenging but yet amazing experience the fact that I now have my first project that operates with real life data it amazes me Iβm learning a lot can not wait for my next lessons and project β€οΈβ

This is my 4th course already and I can't believe all the things that I learnt. The way of the lessons are structured and how Matt teach makes easily to follow. I'm very proud of myself because I graduate more than 10 years ago and make a routine to sit down and learn was not easy. But as I said the structure of the lesson helps to make them easy to follow. My knowledge about tech was only as customer, but now that I learn a little bit more, I want to keep learning and make this my new job.

I really enjoyed this workshop. Matt explains everything in a simple, digestible way. I have ADD and long learning videos are usually super tiring for me, so the short moduls were great. Same for the challenges with deadlines - I learn best by physically doing the thing I'm studying (plus I'm more likely to actually practice, if someone else is "waiting" for a result), so this was great, aswell. Looking forward to the next one!

I have always thought that websites automatically resize themselves when viewed in different mediums (cellphone, laptop), through SheCodes Response I have learned that it is the developer's job to do that.

I love that it feels as if they thought of any possible event/question that you might have and gave you the tools to overcome them before you even had to reach out for help! I have been working at a technology company and even though I don't use coding on my day-to-day, I realized how much of a difference understanding the basics can make. I decided to do this course because I attended one of the free workshops and I thought was easy to understand. I always had an interest in technology and I remember sitting in my room all day as a teenager, in front of my computer, coding new looks for my personal blog. This brought me back to those moments and I am very grateful. It's been a fun journey and it made me want to learn more.
One of my favorite workshops yet! I learned how to create an entire responsive webpage embedded with media such as videos, music, social media posts, etc. This was quite enlightening and overall fun!

Not the kind of learning experience that suited me the best, I ended up reading up on most things on my own from other sources, but of course, an online workshop like this can't suit everyone which is absolutely fine. Just find it lacking in some basic features I think should be able to fit into a 3-week course. But again, that might also be more or less personal preference.
Absolutely enjoying learning more and more of coding, I took a small break due to other things but couldn't wait to get back on and finish my project. Time to start the next and last stage of Shecodes coding lessons.
