SheCodes has been an incredible journey of growth and learning for me. The way the curriculum is structured, the support from the community, and the engaging assignments have truly made the learning process enjoyable and fulfilling. Matt's way of teaching made the course so much fun! I would strongly recommend it to anyone thinking about starting coding! I especially loved how the course was pre-planned which meant that I was able to complete the tasks whenever I had time.
Doing the SheCodes Plus workshop was super challenging and I'm proud of myself for going through each lesson, each challenge, each homework, and the final project. I hope these skills will help my career as I continue to grow and learn.

This was a clear guide on how to start a developer career, it answered all the millions of questions I had already asked myself before even finishing the previous workshops. They were the highlight of the course. Applying the skills I had learned to real-world projects was both exciting and fulfilling. The projects allowed me to showcase my creativity and innovation while also gaining practical experience that I can apply to future endeavors.
I learned some new techniques that I didn't know before. Great to refresh my memory after some time of not coding a lot.
It's been a bit of a bumpy road leading up to the end but grateful for this opportunity to learn Web development.

I work at a tech company; and every day I work with technology which is based on code. This is a great way of getting a glimpse of what the magic is around coding. At this point I am curious to learn more about coding and SheCodes offers a fun and easy way to learn the world of code!
Everything was easy to understand. Finishing a task and seeing my hard work on a live website was very fulfilling. I am very eager to learn more about the ins and outs of HTML and CSS and apply what I learn in creating more aesthetically appealing but great user-experience websites.
This is probably the best thing I have ever done for myself. Learning these skills has been one of the most rewarding experiences. I love that I am challenging myself. The lessons made it so you still had to figure things out for yourself, which really makes figuring things out yourself an even more satisfying experience.

Hiπ I am Olwethu, a student from South Africa. I have always been fascinated by coding, and it has been a goal of mine to learn how to code. I am really grateful to SheCodes for creating such an opportunity for women to learn to code, a goal that I thought would be unattainable has become attainable. I have thoroughly enjoyed every lesson and task that we have done, I am always showing my loved ones my projects and the new skills that have learnt. Furthermore, coding has become my escape, whenever I am stressed by my academics and other things happening around me coding has helped in relieving my stress and anxiety. I hope that all the skills and knowledge I am gaining from SheCodes will help me gain opportunities in the tech industry.
The Basics Add-On went further into Basics course material, and the fundamentals I had previously learned allowed me to easily grasp and apply the new techniques presented.

Thankful to the SheCodes team and Matthieu Delac for everything I know today. I have come a long way. I knew absolutely nothing about coding / programming, and thanks to this team and this company, I learned how to create basic web designs, responsive and react websites. I have been thinking about learning how to code for a while. I had done the free workshop some time ago and wanted to explore more, so I signed up for Basic. After 3 weeks I am hooked!
The videos were a great help, especially when i was stuck i knew i can always refer back to them for some light. Matt is a great teacher. He made everything very understandable and enjoyable. I had so much fun learning to code and create things from scratch.
I'm really happy to learn React and apply it in my previous weather app, making the project more complete. It also helped me to understand the code and communicate fluently with my colleagues.
I was looking for a way to expand my skills and knowledge. I enrolled in SheCodes basic online coding workshop and was amazed by how easy and enjoyable the process was. Within a few weeks I had learned HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and VS Code basics from scratch. The lessons are well-structured, flexible, and fun. SheCodes Basics was fantastic! I'd never had any experience with coding before and I found this to be a great introduction. I work in learning design, and I loved the way the learning was paced, the short videos with an applied learning activity were fab. Can't wait to take another course!
I honestly can't believe I've signed up, started and completed it SheCodes Basics already?! Time flew by so quickly & I wish there was more hahah! The format of the course & each lesson & class have been tremendously helpful & beneficial, allowing me to follow along with Matt & replicate what he's doing. Any time I face an error I can rewind to double check my work. Athena the AI has also been tremendously helpful resource! The team on Slack were AMAZING! And the open channels & communication really helped. I would search there as a first step and found that there were reoccurring mistake themes we all faced collectively; made me feel like I'm not alone ha-ha! I'm definitely excited to learn more

SheCodes Basic Course is a great course. The way concepts were explained made coding easy to grasp, with interesting hands-on projects to help summarise learnings. Being able to do it at my own pace was really useful.
Practising the skills we had already learned in SheCodes Pro and learning some other things was a really satisfying journey. I was able to get more comfortable with the difficult aspects of Pro and created something I am really proud of!
I got so many experience through the course. the course is very interactive, it makes you understanding and view to be wide. I enjoyed the challenges in there it makes the learning process active.

Moving up to SheCodes Plus was very challenging for me and it does get overwhelming sometimes. But due to the amazing instructions and explanations given, it was also very fun and exciting!
