I recently completed the SheCodes Plus workshop, and I cannot express how transformative this experience has been for me. The workshop was incredibly well-structured, with a perfect balance of theoretical learning and hands-on coding exercises. The instructors were not only knowledgeable but also highly supportive, making complex coding concepts accessible and fun to learn. One of the highlights of my SheCodes Plus journey was creating a weather application. This project was the culmination of everything I had learned throughout the workshop. It was amazing to see how the pieces of code I had written gradually came together to form a functional and visually appealing application. This practical experience gave me a profound sense of accomplishment and the confidence to tackle more complex coding projects in the future.

I can recommend this course to everyone. Matt always explains complicated things very understandably. I was able to create my own portfolio from scratch, its achievement for me. I am very lucky because I have opportunity to learn coding with SheCodes:)

It was very far away to me to think that I would make this module , I can't wait to move to the next one and be able to learn even more with SheCodes, It made me feel that we are able to achieve any goals that we want when we put enforce, prioritise and be focused.

I enjoyed learning coding basics with SheCodes. The content is easy to understand and the way the videos are structure encourages you to learn more.

SheCodes Basic is a very fun and easy way to start your coding journey. I would recommend this course to everyone who wants to start coding. I have enjoyed these 3 weeks a lot and am very motivated to learn more about coding in the future.

Great learning experience. First time coding. Shecodes is so awesome and now I code!

The Add-on project was a bit more time consuming, and challenging than the Basics project. Comparing the two landing pages though, I think the benefit of taking this workshop is clear. I was able to create a much more aesthetically pleasing/put together landing page, and would 100% recommend everyone take this opportunity to build upon the fundamentals previously learned.

SheCode workshop is absolutely an amazing website to be. It provided a supportive and inclusive learning environment for women to develop their coding skills from lower level to higher ground, whether they have an I.T background or not. The instructors were knowledgeable and passionate, making the learning experience engaging and enjoyable. I highly recommend attending SheCode workshop to anyone interested in coding, especially women in my country Ghana.

I never expected that the course would get more exciting than the basics. I expected it to be difficult and challenging but not as much fun as I had. I cannot forget the stressful nights when the code would not work 😰 and the excitement of finally getting it right! I'm eternally grateful to the Delac Foundation for giving me this opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream. I hope to continue learning and growing my coding skills.

All topics in this course are very easy to understand. Lessons are built from simple to more complex tasks. In this course I learned how to work with API. Add time, weather forecast in the current time. I created a page with a weather forecast that I can recommend to my friends.

For someone who knew almost zero about coding, it was a great learning experience! In just 3 weeks I feel like I know understand the structures and the thinking behind coding. Great to see my own project coming to life after so little time. I'm very excited to continue this journey and learn more!

I am very happy with the programming course. I didn't know anything about it and it was a good way to start! It is very practical and you can put into practice everything you learn.

The curriculum was exceptionally well-structured, it focused on the fundamentals. The hands-on approach, where we were encouraged to apply what we learned through practical exercises for each lesson, was incredibly effective. I appreciated that the instructor was skilled at breaking down complex concepts into digestible pieces for beginners like me. The HTML and CSS modules gave me a solid foundation in front-end development. I was amazed at how quickly I could create visually appealing and responsive web pages. And JavaScript added interactivity and dynamism to websites. Upon completion, I was able to create a project that showcased my newfound skills. Most importantly, the community that is fostered is very well appreciated, it makes the learning process even more enjoyable. I am proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and I a have the confidence to take the next step. I admire how organized were all the lessons. It was easy to follow the instructor & the written instructions whilst having lots of fun. Whenever I am learning something, the biggest obstacle is to overcome my resistance, if the course is boring. In this scenario, however I was very excited for each upcoming part. The visual learner in me was pleased.

I enjoyed working on the SheCodes site learning new things with coding and being able to create my first interactive landing page. Hi, I'm Fernanda and I was very happy to take this responsive course, we learned a lot, especially on how to make more beautiful and functional websites, in a very professional way. Now I've started to observe other websites from a different point of view. I really enjoyed doing the final project, we understood once again that we are capable of anything, with God, support from our family and persistence.

I've always wanted to learn coding but didn't know how to go about it. Learning with SheCodes has been an amazing journey. I got to learn alot on SheCodes Basic, although it was a bit challenging but i was able to scale through. Super excited to start the next workshop and gain more knowledge.

I started the basic workshop and it was super exciting to find out how fun coding is! I'm interested about learning more and now I'm upgrading to the more advanced workshops!

The basic course taught me how to navigate the basic topics of HTML, CSS, and also introduced me to the basics of Javascript. The course is not difficult to learn, since the lessons are very practical and viewing them does not take much time. As a beginner, I was very pleased.

This was a pretty awesome continuing of my coding journey. I learned lots of new information, as well as sharpened my skills. Of course, I understand that I need to do a lot of things to become a professional developer, but with the help of She Codes this path seems engaging and amusing.

I have learned a lot from SheCodes Responsive Course and I feel more confident about My Responsive Web Design.

I have recently completed the basics of coding through the SheCodes program. It is a good coding course and i would recommend it to people who would like to learn to code and have no basics of coding. The material they use to teach us is easy to understand and to access. Their projects are real-life project where to you test what you have learnt and gain experience. Their team is supportive.

This is the best workshop I have ever done. Easy to learn and the facilitators are a great help.

React has definitely been more challenging, however it's one of the better skills to learn. I hope to learn and understand more with time. I look forward to attempt new challenges with React. You really do need to stick to projects daily to gain full understanding 😅

I am starting to learn how to be a front-end development. I successfully finish SheCodes basic workshop now.

It was an excellent journey. The more I learn, the more my interest grows in front-end development. Special thanks to Matt. He makes all the steps very easy and explains them clearly. I would definitely continue my journey into coding.

The frustration of JavaScript is something that I actually appreciate now that I am at the end of this workshop. And I have enjoyed the learning experience. Matt explains everything really well and makes everything easy to follow and understand. The plus is also that I get to learn at my own pace. I look forward to the rest of the workshops and hopefully a future in tech.

I enjoyed the learning process and the frustration of JavaScript. 😅 It is taught very well and you understand how to build a page from scratch. The final project was lovely to build, I really enjoyed it. It's fascinating learning everything and finally getting the code to work.

React has been so different from everything else we have learned, but Matt makes adjusting to this new style of coding easy. It is amazing how much you can get done using very little code in react!

I've struggled to find a workshop that I'd easily learn, with no previous knowledge needed before finding SheCodes. A friend of mine told me how awesome the workshops were, but I still had to find out for myself how SheCodes patlaform worked. When I finally joined SheCodes Basics for a trial, I instantly fell in love with the method and now that I have just finished my final project I am amazed how much I could learn in such a short time. I also enrroled in SheCodes Max and I can't wait to start.

I am an absolute beginner to coding. Just finished Shecodes basics while still working my full time job. The weeks are well paced for learning part-time. Left feeling quite accomplished in finishing the final project. I feel I have a good grasp of the basics of what we've covered so far. I'm excited to move onto Plus.

I really learnt a lot

This course was a great start to learning React. I did learn plenty but at the same time, it was difficult. However, I actually like React. I can see myself learning more, and doing more projects with this JavaScript library.

I went in with low expectations as I couldn't have even told you what coding was before I started this program. I blew away my own personal expectations and was blown away by this program. The ease, the community, the learning - all has been a top notch opportunity. I can't recommend it enough and trust me - if I can handle it, you can too! Give it a shot!

SheCodes has helped me learn more about coding than I thought I ever would! Although some bits I've picked up a lot better than others SheCodes has really helped me understand coding basics.

In less than 3 weeks I have learned 3 new languages! 😃 The lessons from SheCode Basics were very good to follow and I liked the contact with the team of SheCodes very much! 😊 I liked the flexibility: I could choose when and where I wanted to work on the workshop. I can already show and tell everyone about the website(s) I made! 🤠😎🥳 I never had a moment which was bad, I liked every part of the workshop, especially the last week of the project: I could choose my own topic and chose: "The Window of Tolerance" and made a beautiful website thanks to the guidance of the workshop. I shared the website with my friends and it can also be helpful for others (I can help people with my websites already).🤗 The workshop made me get a better self confidence from the start, 🥰 because you learn the practice of coding and making fun and working things already right from the beginning. 🤩

I am glad I came across the Delac Foundation, a coding program for women. I have learnt so much, they offer a flexible schedule which caters for all spheres of women, perfect for working people. And they have top-notch teachers and lessons too. Thank you Shecodes👩🏿‍💻💃🏿💃🏿

I really love SheCodes because it is easy to understand, especially if you have no prior coding knowledge or experience, and the mini assignments after each lesson help reinforce whatever is learnt.

A bit more challenging than basic, especially the JavaScript part but we conquered regardless. I really enjoyed the challenges but most of all learning from the challenges.

I learned to code a basic website in about two weeks. Im so happy that SheCodes give me this study.

This was a great way to learn the basics of coding! I liked that I could do the course at my own pace. I also liked that our challenges included things that weren’t in the lesson so we could get our hands dirty researching how to do things on our own.

I am incredibly proud of my achievement in learning the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in less than three weeks. It was an exciting rewarding journey, and I am thrilled with my progress. During this time, I dedicated myself to mastering these fundamental web development technologies. I was determined to understand the ins and outs of HTML for structuring web content, CSS for styling, and JavaScript for adding interactivity. Through countless hours of learning and practice, I was able to create web pages that I am genuinely proud of.

I think the Basics Workshop was a great very basic intro to what coding can do and the perfect way to test my interest level in the subject/material. I also really appreciated being able to do it on my own time (in between a full time job, a family, life, etc.) - I definitely couldn't have completed the course otherwise. All the teachers always got back to any questions super quickly and thoroughly. I would recommend this for anyone looking to dip their toes into coding. Even though I know I just learned the very surface level, it still was a lot and I'm now very interested in taking my coding education further. Thank you to all the teachers and fellow coders. It was an awesome experience!
