This is the workshop I enjoyed the most, until now. Learning Responsive was challenging, but I had a lot of fun! 😉

I didn't think it was probable for me to learn how to code but as I watch the thorough videos on she codes; It taught me to let go of my limitations and believe.

I loved studying the She Codes Plus curriculum. I have learnt so much, and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to level up their coding 💖

I have learned a lot from the basic courses, that's why I signed up for plus courses for next 8 weeks Meanwhile, I am not sure if this is actually what I am looking for, but I will know more after completing the plus courses. I like SheCodes self-pace learning system, which much more flexible than live classes as I could learn according my availabilities.

This is a nice addition to the Basics workshop! I've learnt new CSS techniques that will eventually help my projects look much better. I'm not really into the CSS transform properties and the fancy backgrounds because I think that they are too "noisy". However, it's good to know how to work with these tools for future reference. I really enjoyed doing the final project and appreciate the fact that it looks really good and much more interactive for the user. It was nice to have Matt's support throughout the project development.

learning react was definitely not easy. it's almost like learning a completely new language. But I would say that with anything, no matter how strange and unfamiliar it feels, if you stick with it long enough, you will become familiar with it.

SheCodes exceeded my expectations, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone. As someone who is neurodivergent, I found the structure of the program to be incredibly supportive. The well-organised lessons and the flexibility in learning allowed me to navigate the course at my own pace. This experience has not only instilled in me a newfound confidence in coding but has also ignited a passion to pursue a career in this field. Learned a lot about react!

In the Responsive Web Development course, I explored the fascinating world of creating adaptable websites using the Bootstrap framework. Learning about responsive design and implementing it in my final project—a personal portfolio webpage—was both engaging and practical. The course was expertly taught and made the learning process easy and enjoyable.

Great course to learn how to make a website.

This workshop made me overwhelmed with all the tools available for the developers. Sometimes it was very challenging for me even to install some of the programmes required for the course and it made me extremely frustrated. But after managing to do it and when you see the result... This feeling is amazing. We all can do it. And we can learn and do more. Dear SheCodes team, thank you very much for your help and patience! You are all wonderful!

SheCodes Basics has been an amazing learning experience and opportunity. It is quite hard to believe that after only a couple of weeks I have been able to code my first website from scratch! I believe the program is well structured and especially well explained: Matt is a great teacher, clear, concise and linear. Lastly, I particularly appreciated the Challenges at the end of each class: it is quite a game changer, as it helps a lot to keep yourself involved and on track.

I learned a lot in a short amount of time. Great workshop to learn the basics and to figure out if coding is for you. I can't wait to learn more!

This course was well-structured. The challenges and lessons moved in building blocks so it allowed me get a deep understanding of the concepts without burdening me with theoretical info and allowed me time to research for the challenges. I loved the challenges at the end of each lesson. They helped put the theory into perspective and challenge my thought process. I can't wait to practice more with what I've learnt so far.

Great course. Got to learn so much so quickly. Perfect mix of tutorials, doing your own homework and your own projects. Also very flexible with time, but still enough pressure to keep going due to deadlines.

SheCodes React courses were absolutely fantastic, I enjoyed it a lot. I got acquainted with React and even completed a project. I never thought I could have my dream of being a coder come true. Class were also way to expenses and hard to fully understand, but since I found SheCodes everything about my perspective has changed for me. Not only it being way more affordable than other programs, SheCodes is also very easy to understand the more you study and stay consistent. I don't feel rush or like rushing through the lessons without really learning. If there is something I don't quite remember or understand there is so many different options to choose from to get my answer. I can look back from old lessons, I can ask the alumni or I can even ask other students. There's a sense of independence but also a security that comes with the program and I love it.

I've loved building this weather app, it's been a really fun but challenging activity. Learning by doing, rather than just watching, has definitely been the best way to learn.

I enrolled with high hopes, and it exceeded all my expectations! Everything was broken down into easily understandable chunks, which gave me the confidence to keep learning. I've gained valuable skills and highly recommend the course.

I have been looking for a career change for 2 years now but didn't think it was possible. It is very easy to follow, and I find it satisfying to finally figure out how to link each piece I learned.

By the end of She Codes Plus, I had learnt how to create a functioning weather app. That approach of learning that sees to it that we not only obtain theoretical knowledge but also practical outlooks is the sole reason why i love She Codes.

I did not know anything about coding until three weeks ago. I started because I was curious about programming, and my friend recommended SheCodes. Through the first course, I learned a lot and, at the same time, having a lot of fun. This SheCodes+ course provided great further teachings and insights of what it means to code. Whilst at times it was a bit challenging, it was still enjoyable and educational. There was a balance of learning new techniques without it feeling overwhelming.

SheCodes 100% definitely is the best coding workshop out there! Before starting SheCodes basics I thought I would feel discouraged or disinterested after the first week but it was completely the opposite. Throughout the course I was engaged and motivated to challenge myself and complete the tasks. The challenges and videos made coding feel so much more easier and it helped me stay on track. One thing I loved about the workshop is that I could go back to any lesson which I didn't fully understand and work on the challenges at any time of the day which is extremely useful for people who are busy. I've learnt so much from Matt and can't wait to begin SheCodes Max! 😇

Working with React is more efficient and more well-organized than working with Java. I will recommend this course for those who wish to learn front-end development!

SheCodes has a very dynamic way of learning, you learn better while practicing and in this workshop we have a lot of room to make mistakes and learn with them.

I enjoyed creating the dictionary application, I hope to continue learning and improving my skills in React. The Dictionary app was a fun way to integrate multiple api's.

I really enjoyed this workshop. I have a learning disability and haven't been in school in years, so I was nervous I would have difficulty, however it was pretty simple and straight forward. I actually had a ton of fun creating the last project, even so that I finished super early and tried to add in extra things that were taught, and things I googled to figure out. It was really fun! I did have issues with how the videos would teach us one thing, but then the work you needed to submit asked you to do something that wasn't even taught to you yet. I also didn't quite understand why an entire workshop for teaching women to code is taught by a man. A woman instructor would be better, though I understand Matt is the creator and therefor he teaches it all. I would really like to continue with the other workshops, however they are unfortunately not something I can afford.

I graduated high school this year and wanted to see if the field of STEM was for me. Since it's really not encouraged for young girls to do anything in the STEM direction, I wanted to take a look and SheCodes has made the field so much more accessible that I can't wait to continue learning with the advanced course and direct my studies in that direction.

Really loved learning the coding basics. The workshop was challenging but fulfilling. I enjoyed the activities throughout which gave me a chance to do the coding myself and learn as we go.

Such a great way to learn how to code on your own time but with all the help and support you need!

React is incredibly fun and challenging, this project re-worked my memory into remembering what I learned for my weather app a long time ago, and what not to do!

SheCodes is a great environment for women to learn code, at their own pace while still being effective. I'm so glad I chose SheCodes to take this journey with.

My brother, who is a software engineer, has told me so many times that I have good problem-solving skills and that I should learn coding. He tried teaching me coding before, but when he did, to me it was very overwhelming, and so I thought that I coding was never for me until years later and I found a free coding session of SheCodes online. I decided to give it a try because I thought, "What's the worst that could happen?". There I found Matt teaching coding in a very approachable manner, explaining everything as if he were taking me by the hand leading me step by step. The way he makes comments on subjects make the lessons relatable so that I did not feel intimidated or overwhelmed. Surprisingly, I enjoyed so much that I decided to try out the 3-week course. And now that I've finished the 3-week course, I can actually see that I do have a potential to make this my career so I've decided to dive into SheCodes Max to invest in myself for my future. I would not have been able to learn on my own if not for SheCodes. I'm excited to start next week!

React was difficult to understand, but the bigger concepts did make sense by the end of the course. I am happy with the final project and would like to learn more about React.

I have learnt so much since I started the workshop, it has been really impactful. Building my portfolio website during the course of the shecodes responsive workshop feels empowering!

This has by far been the most challenging yet extremely motivating project yet. I have enjoyed scratching my head, trying to figure out where the lesson is going to go ahead of our teacher and really seeking external resources for guidance. I can see closer to my reality as a web developer day to day now. What a great learning experience.
