This was a really great introduction to the basics of HTML, JavaScript and CSS. I love the layout of the video class, followed by video instructions of the task and then video explanation. Really hands-on, practical learning and step-by-step guidance.
I have always been interested in learning to code.
This workshop was definitely a challenge for me, but it was very educational and easy to follow. It was very interesting learning how to recreate a previous project but changing it up by creating it using React.
I am glad that I completed my Shecodes plus workshop. I have learned different techniques, including html forms, advanced css, JavaScript functions, how to use open weather API and also bootstrap. It was a challenging journey, but I have made it. I am greatly proud of myself. I can not wait to enrol in the Shecodes pro.

βMy name is Sthandiwe Msweli from South Africa and my coding journey has been amazing. So before I started coding I graduated in Business and information Management and I was not happy with what I've studied but because I wanted to have a qualification and get a job so I can earn a living so I went on with it. Fast cracking my story after I graduated had no luck in finding a job so after a year, on my second year of staying at home without any luck of getting a job, I did a free trail in coding on some boot camp and I fall in love with it but to enroll to that boot camp you needed funding which I did not have. So I did my research and I ended up finding Delac Foundation that when I start my coding journey and it has been a wonderful journey and I thank the Lord for this opportunity and excited for more learning and more adventure in coding π plus I have completed my sheCodes course it was challenging but yet an amazing experience the fact that I now have a project that operates with real life data it amazes me I learnt a lot now I can call my self a programmer can not wait for the opportunities waiting for me in tech field β€οΈβ

SheCodes was a good workshop for me as I have already learned how to code in school but never really understood why to use a certain element or how to use JavaScript functions. I loved the theoretical building of a weather app and over the course of the course learning to implement real time features to make it an actual app with real data. I enjoyed learning how to use GitHub in combination with Visual Studio Code and getting to host my own page. The course perfectly build on prior knowledge of the Basics course and I had fun expending my coding skills.
Wow, I cannot believe I have completed the full Max curriculum! I have learnt so much since starting and can now create webpages and webapps with different coding languages and tools. I have to thank Matt Delac as his videos, challenges and homework have guided me to this point. It has been very fun (and hard at some points). I cannot recommend this course enough and look forward to a future with all this knowledge under my belt!
Before I started the SheCodes workshop, I was looking for a task in which I could immerse myself and get into the flow. And I know that I have definitely found that in coding now. The workshop was very good structured and the topics easy to understand and to learn. Especially the SheCodes AI Assistent helped me a lot to understand my mistakes and to improve my codes very fast. I am really happy for finding this wonderful online workshops and can highly recommend it.
Challenging and interesting course on the way to learning web-development with React and NPM. Also it gives an opportunity to compare strong and weak sides of development in pure JS or using React components.
And again, I learned a tremendous amount and took further steps into a potential future as a front end developer. As a user, I was always slightly annoyed when a website was not responsive. Now I understand the massive amount of work that goes into it and have great respect for when a website looks and works great on mobile devices. Thank you for the awesome learning experience.
