I would highly recommend it! I have learned so much and this program is so meticulously designed. From topic divisions to challenges to explaining all possible errors that we as immatures can do. Absolutely grateful for being here and looking forward to next courses.

This workshop was the deal for me. I am working a full-time job and for quite some time now I wanted to see if coding was for me. I took the Basic course not knowing what to expect and in 2 weeks' time decided that web development was what I wanted to do. I applied for the SheCodes Max while still taking the basic course. I can't recommend it enough, it is a perfect method for learning (lesson + homework + solution) and it keeps you accountable to show up every day, even for a bit, but it makes a difference. Plus the community is amazing! Both tutors and other students are really friendly and help you out with technical questions and more. Would suggest it 100%

SheCodes allowed me the flexibility to complete a challenging course on a timeline that works best for my schedule. My favorite part of this course was structure of the lessons, they worked really well with my learning style which made my experience all the better!

Doing SheCodes Plus was a lot of fun, it was an amazing journey that I enjoyed in every lesson. Learning about API's was really cool and still can't believe I made an weather app, it was really awesome and I can't thank SheCodes enough. Really enjoyed the basics course! So much information packed into such a short amount of time. The format of the course was great for my learning style. Having each week broken down into several lessons made it less overwhelming, easier to focus on one topic while gradually building on and introducing new concepts.

I absolutely recommend SheCodes Basics for everyone who is interested in coding and want to learn the basics in HTML, CSS and JavaScript! What a wonderful course! Matt packs in lots of learning into the lessons, and it's all so practical. Even down to keyboard shortcuts to make your development time quicker. It's a great introduction to frontend web development.

When I started the SheCodes journey I did not know what to expect but now that I have come this far, I can definitely say it has been nothing but a great experience with so much practicality to actually understand and put into practice all that you have learnt. I have been raving about this program to anyone that is interested in coding whether it's do learn a new language or brush up on some skills. I really loved this add on workshop it really is very exciting and interesting to me. I have adhd and for me if I'm really interested in something I will hyperfocus on it until the end of time. The program is really easy to understand and so much fun.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of learning new skills and seeing the progress that I have made in such a short space of time. Learning to build in React came with a steep learning curve, but I overcame once I got out of my own way and tried a different approach. One thing that I can always appreciate about the way Matt and the team at SheCodes teaches coding it that there is always multiple solutions to the same problem. It helps with learning to problem solve without getting frustrated.

I had I great experience learning the basics, looking forward to learning about react. Matt is a great teacher, he explains everything with practical examples.

Enjoyed learning more advanced basics to bring the project to life.

I had two major problems with this course. First, they don't teach you how to display the current weather and forecast in both Celsius and Fahrenheit (they only teach you how to do it for the current weather). Second, I had a full stack software engineer who also mentors software engineers review the code and he said it was really bad code. That we were taught really bad practices. Considering my only exposure to coding has been SheCodes and I followed along with Matt, I believe this reflects badly on the curriculum. I have done the entire SheCodes program, from the basics to the max workshops. They have a team that reviews the homework assignments and give you either a thumbs up or a thumbs down if it was done correctly. I have only ever received a thumbs up. I am really disappointed. The whole purpose of me joining SheCodes was to prepare myself for a career change. Now, I have to start over from scratch trying to learn clean coding practices.

Learned a lot in such a simple way, everything is explained very well, the structure of the matter is logical and it enables the student to grasp complicated concepts with no trouble. The flexibility of taking the classes is also a huge plus, I truly have only the best things to say about this course!

I had an amazing time learning how to code. I had no prior knowledge of coding and these lessons have taught me a great deal and were quite easy to understand. I am grateful to have been given an opportunity to learn. I will be continuing with coding as a career choice and will definitely use SheCodes as a teacher.

I really enjoyed the experience of understanding and developing old skills I had from the time I used the have a blog in 2003. Back in the days I had a lot of fun playing and trying new things on my templates without really knowing the reason to work or not some feature that I had changed. With the course I realized how much I used to do without the knowledge. It was awesome to learn the reason and really understand how lading page and coding works.

It was my first time with coding and the workshop was really easy to understand and to follow and you can learn at your own pace, which was something that I really enjoyed. I've been wanting to learn to code for a while now but haven't known where to start. I found SheCodes and joined during a promotion period. Loved the videos and the projects that were assigned. I felt like the material was explained really well and I appreciated having deadlines to really push me forward.

This workshop helped me learn so many helpful tools for creating responsive websites, which is currently an in-demand skill these days. With so many mobile users, it's so important to ensure websites look good and work well on mobile devices. I learned how to use flexbox and grids to create websites that scale down perfectly for smaller screens. In addition to that, I learned some SEO tips for getting more visibility for a website. Instructions and lessons were clear, thorough and easy to understand. I'm so glad I took part in this workshop!
