It's been very rewarding building on skills learnt in previous workshops and witnessing my own progress. I feel excited to take on the next challenge!

This course was challenging, but the way Matt teaches us and the amount of support helped me learn and understand everything, step-by-step. I look forward to the next workshop in order to learn more!

A step up from SheCodes Basics, SheCodes Plus builds up on what I've learnt and exposes one to building your own site and publishing it. The use of APIs, Netlify and new knowledge in terms of JavaScript is eye-opening and allows one to explore their creative side. Loved it!

I never thought I was able to create my own landing page, and yet here I am. It is such a fun way to learn how to code. I would recommend this course to everyone curious and eager to learn something new. This will help me get better at my job and who knows, end up becoming a front-end developer myself.

Each section of this course shows me that I can learn and achieve even more than expected. I'm excited for the next chapters!

This experience so far has been great. There were definitely some hiccups, especially because this is my very first experience coding. But, those ah ha moments are so worth the initial struggle. I've learned so much in such a short amount of time. I can't wait to see where this workshop takes me.

SheCodes Basic Add-On builds upon the enjoyable learning experience of SheCodes Basic, deepening my understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It was really nice to create another project using some useful new skills taught in the Add-On course.

SheCodes basics was just what I needed. I knew nothing about coding. I have thought about courses before, but my whole life my family remarks that my brother "got all the computer brains." I had doubts about being able to complete the program and now I am walking away proud of myself just for trying. I am excited to have learned something new and look forward to continuing my coding journey with SheCodes.

Great additional experience after the basic course. I learned a lot in just a week. The final project was really a challenge but it felt so good seeing how much I've learned and what I'm able to create by now. Can't wait for the following courses. Would suggest it 100% 😁

If you want to take your first steps in programming and don't know where to start, SheCodes Basics is the right place for you. I'd never imagined writing a code would be so entertaining and enjoyable instead of dull and tedious. The most exciting part of SheCodes Basics is that within three weeks, you'll be able to put everything you've learned throughout the course into practice and build a page.

I would like to share my impressions about the programming courses I took on your website. I was pleasantly surprised by the depth and breadth of the material that was presented. These courses gave me the opportunity to delve into various areas of programming, starting from basic concepts to more advanced topics. The practical assignments, in particular, were very helpful as they allowed me to directly apply the knowledge I acquired. The community was always ready to help, which gave me additional confidence in the learning process. I am confident that these courses significantly improved my programming skills and will help me in my future career in this field.

SheCodes Basics was a great introduction to coding. I'm amazed at how much I learned in such a short period of time!

I learn so much about how to make a good responsive web page. I struggled with those when I learned front-end development but now I know clearly about more responsive settings and it is a huge support in my web career path.

I had fun learning how to code with React, It wasn't easy but I'm looking forward to using this new skill in future .

The course structure was well thought out, starting with the fundamentals and gradually building up to more advanced topics. The hands-on exercises and real-life coding projects allowed me to apply what I learned. I appreciate how the course was designed to be flexible, allowing me to work at my own pace. Ultimately, the SheCodes basics course gave me a solid foundation in coding and sparked my interest for further exploration.

It is a good chance to practice and deepen the skills you acquired in the SheCodes Basics course and learn a few new things as well.

This is the second course I have taken with SheCodes and it again has been an inspiring and achievable journey. As a Testing manager I wanted to understand more about coding to help support my team through our automation journey and this has certainly given me what I needed, actually more than I could have expected. Really good workshop with a great structure! The courses are well organised, with lessons and practical challenges and also with a flexible schedule for the homework. I think it's a great option to learn the basics of coding in a fun way. :)

I am 31 and looking to change careers. I've always been fascinated with how computers work, how they do all the amazing things they do. SheCodes was advertised on instagram whilst I was looking at jobs like Online Marketing and I thought "What a good skill to have." It applies to so many careers and I had some time off of work to dedicate to learning a new skill. The SheCodes Basics course has been amazing. The bite-sized lessons and challenges to test what you've just learnt is an incredible teaching technique. I've enjoyed it so much and have recommended it to friends. I'm considering a Graphic Design career and I think having done this initial course will help me in that pursuit. Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team.

Matt's program is incredibly easy to learn, with the information broken into bite-sized pieces that you can easily fit in to your busy schedule. As a project manager in IT/Automation, this basic knowledge has given me the understanding to assist my staff with their activities, and better understand their workload and the required time it takes to complete their project components.

The SheCodes Plus Add On workshop was challenging at times, but built on my knowledge of JS that I learnt in the SheCodes Plus workshop. The final project was fun to make!

I wanted to start out with a college course at first, but was afraid I would not be able to understand the work. I came to "shecodes" to see if I really could learn to code and I did it. I am very grateful I came here first before spending so much on college courses.

This is a great course. It was a lot fun, a good challenge and very satisfying to learn how to build a functioning weather app!

I had fun learning how to build with React. I look forward to using this new skill in future personal projects to work on my portfolio.

This course was challenging at times but also very fun! I feel that I have learnt some new skills and this is a brilliant addition to the "Basics" course.

The learnings from this workshop have been profound, perhaps more than I can fully grasp right now. It was a balance of challenge and enjoyment, consistently intriguing and enlightening.

I can't recommend the teaching methods of this program enough. As someone over 50 looking to make a career change, I was initially apprehensive about learning something entirely new. However, the hands-on approach employed by this program turned out to be absolutely perfect for me. The pace at which they introduce new concepts and skills is just right. It's not too fast to feel overwhelming, yet it's not too slow to get bored. The materials are very well explained, and I truly appreciate the effort that goes into making the learning experience enjoyable and satisfying. I've found the journey of acquiring new skills for my career change not only enjoyable but also immensely satisfying. It's remarkable how this program has made me feel so capable and confident in my learning, even at my age. I have tried learning how to code on several different coding platforms but I must say SheCodes is by far the best one I have taken. Matt did a good job explaining Javascript, and although it's the basics I understand the language much better now. I am so happy I found SheCodes.

I learnt a whole lot with the Basic Add-on workshop, never imagined i could actually build an aesthetic website for my project. I feel like a professional already...well with enough practise, the sky is the limit!

Lessons were broken down really well, even though you're learning a lot it never feels like you're in over your head.

I have learned so much from SheCodes! The Plus workshop was challenging but I made it!

This is my second workshop and it gets better with more interesting concepts to learn like API integration. I enjoyed this workshop especially building the weather app and adding functionality to it.

I never imagined I would actually enjoy coding, or remotely be interested, but after taking the free intro to coding course, and signing up for the SheCodes Basics program, I have grown to really enjoy learning how to code. It feels good to make my brain work hard again and think through these codes!

I've thoroughly enjoyed completing the SheCodes Basics course and I'm so proud to show off my certificate! It's been a real learning journey so far and I'm not just referring to the skills I've learnt with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Another key lesson has been not to give up. When there's a bug in the code, it is there somewhere, I've just got to find it and it has often been as simple as a missing "+". It's so satisfying to suddenly find the fix and realise my code was otherwise valid! Looking forward to embarking on the next part of the course now.

The method of having a small challenge after every lesson was great and it really pushed me to learn more. After those, I felt more confident to really tackle the main project.

I really enjoyed this 1-week workshop! I learned how to create a landing page with animations on a nice grid layout, as well as some JavaScript to make buttons work. After having taken a break from web dev coding, this was a great way to get back into it.

This course was set up incredibly well and was very easy to follow. I feel like I learned so much and am prepared to move on to the next course!

The course is highly practical and the tasks allow you to build up the skills gradually. I particularly appreciated the tasks dealing with developer tools. The information given is up-to-date and the presentation is interesting. The course also gamifies learning making each new stage feel like a new level in a game.

I completed Shecodes basics a few years ago and I have recently enrolled and completed Plus. When I saw the Basics Add-On I decided to complete it although I thought that my coding level was already above. That was not the case, I learned many new things and got to get more insights into some of the properties that I already knew. Highly recommend it.

It exceeded my expectations! I had some previous knowledge in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and the structured curriculum made it easy to review the basics, while challenging myself into more advanced topics. What set this course apart was the weekly deadlines and its commitment to staying current — covering the latest updates and best practices in web development. The challenges in each lesson provided a practical edge, allowing me to immediately apply and update my skills. The course had a cool interactive setup with example projects, and we could chat and get support on Slack. It felt like a community, making learning not just educational but also really fun. Overall, it's a must for anyone looking to learn the basics from zero and/or refresh their knowledge in web development.

It is a very interesting experience that we go through building a site step by step together and learn new and useful things.

This is not my first attempt at learning to code but sheCodes gave me the CONFIDENCE to be a coder. Matt is an EXCEPTIONAL teacher that makes it feel so easy and doable. with this course I finally feel like a coder, like confident enough to climb the educational ladder to keep learning and make a career in tech.

I was super excited to create this project. I had so much fun and I gained so much experience and confidence to do "bigger" projects. I learned more in javascript and I am excited to go build different applications with what I have learned.

Possibly the most fun project IMO as of yet. Still lots and lots to learn but slowly starting to wrap my head around things!

It's an amazing tool to learn! I would suggest making your home page as clean as you can, SEO friendly, adding header and footers, and with as good structure and class names as possible before adding the rest of the pages, this will save you a lot of time when building the rest of the pages.

Had fun learning and developing responsive code with multi-page website.

As someone who has zero experience in coding or tech, this was really interesting learning a new skill. Knowing that it's not as intimidating and impossible as I originally thought is a great feeling.

Building this landing page was a blast! I can tell I'm learning a lot and enjoy the opportunity to practice all my new skills.
