I was always very curious about coding and wanted to see if it was something I could learn. I took the free class to get some insight and found that Matt is a fantastic instructor and gave my the confidence to take the Basics class. I have enjoyed the past 3 weeks so much that I want to continue my coding journey. There are so many avenues of support you can receive so you never feel alone throughout the course.
AI has always made me nervous and I never took the time to learn it because I would get stressed out. This course made AI easier to understand and exciting! I cannot wait to continue to learn. I also loved the final project I had the opportunity to work on!

After making the decision to make a change in my career path, I was introduced to SheCodes by my friend. It was definitely a great way to be introduced to this field. Even though this was just the basics, I enjoyed being able to create projects with what I have learned. I was very happy to see that this AI workshop was added as an add-on. Working and coding with AI is something that I didn't plan on diving into until later down the road but this was a very easy and concise introduction to using AI in your code. This course was really interesting and frustrating at times. I learnt so much, coming from a more creative background, I really had to push myself to find solutions and retain the information but I wouldn't change that for anything, I found myself wanting to work on the modules and expand on my knowledge. I really enjoyed the basics add-on course! It was really fun to build my project alongside my classes this time, as it broke down a large undertaking into smaller, manageable sections. Not only did I get to practice and use what I'd learned previously in the basics course, I got to build upon them and further develop my skills which I got to showcase in my project. It was great for building confidence and fun to build a more sophisticated landing page, it was visual evidence of my skills developing and I loved it.
I was able to learn a lot in a short period, I am glad that after hearing about you on Tik Tok I immediately applied, this far with this amazing team it was worth it no time was wasted but skills added, I personally with all that I have learned so far ready for the tech world as it has been a dream to become a software developer, Thank you very much for closing this gap
SheCodes responsive was fun and informative. I really enjoyed having to create my own personal portfolio and design it the way I want. What makes it even more greater is the fact that I can change and maintain my portfolio at any given point without it being a hassle because everything was just made easy and fun to learn.

A fantastic course for beginners! I remembered bits of coding from my earlier years which helped with the challenges. But I really loved learning the CSS and Javascript within the basics course. Matt explained everything thoroughly and he encourages learners to go out and look for coding by checking the source codes on various websites to get answers, ideas and inspiration. I have a full time job as a project analyst and a child to look after and I found 1 week was ample time to complete the lessons and challenges! SheCodes Plus course, here I come!

I can't believe I now understand some technical coding terms, and can even code a basic web page - whoa π€― I used to dread the word "coding", thought it was meant for geniuses only - I guess I'm a genius then. I really loved this workshop. It's something i was waiting since i started my SheCodes journey. I simply love creating webpages and giving them my personal design style. This workshop was all i was hoping for: i've learned how to prorpely code a responsive website, transforming designs into code and much more. I loved it so much and i most importantly i enjoyed the portofolio project more than anything. It gave me a lot of inspiration and motivation to focus transforming more existing designs into code. Another stage completed. It wasn't easy, but it was fun at the same time. Thanks to Matt and the simple and detailed way he teaches, I was able to learn the basics (sometimes not so much, lol) of React and knowing that I can now build a more complete and responsive application is very satisfying, even though I have a long way to go to improve my knowledge and techniques. That said, I look forward to the next challenges.

Now, I can create awesome websites that look good and do really cool stuff. Connecting to APIs and learning a bit of advanced JavaScript was a blast. I was worried about understanding all the JavaScript covered in SheCodes Plus, it covered loads of new topics, but Matt really made sure to explain things to the tea so that it is easily understood.
I feel really accomplished after completing this workshop and have learned a lot! You feel really satisfied once you're able to solve problems and overcome challenges, eg figure out why something's not working. If you get stuck, you can ask for help any time too, and also the AI tool is super helpful. The challenges set are at a really good level.
This was a bit more challenging than the past ones but become interesting day after day and a long way to long yet to come. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to learn how to code!
