The program has been a little challenging for me but I don't regret the process. Shecodes has helped to overcome challenges and I am grateful for this opportunity to learn coding.
Iโm really impressed by how much Iโve learned using Python, especially working with real data. Learning how to read, clean, and manipulate datasets has been eye-opening. What excites me even more is being able to turn that data into real-world graphs and visualisations. It feels amazing to see raw numbers come to life in a way that tells a story. This has definitely motivated me to keep going and explore even more powerful things I can build with Python.
I built a mash up of the Mexican Joke Generator and the โHow to say in corporateโ TikTok trend, a Corporate AI Translator that turns blunt lines into professional sentences. Built with vanilla HTML/CSS/JS, Axios, JS plugins and the SheCodes AI API. Biggest win: learning how to properly prompt AI. Biggest loss: still design/UX (I guess, one day, I'll get there). 100% recommended, it's been my favourite module so far.
The classes are so easy to follow and well-structured. I feel like Iโm being guided step by step, which makes everything so much clearer. Iโve already learned so much and feel more confident every day.

As a beginner coder, building this Salsa webpage has been such an exciting learning journey. This project helped me understand how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript work together to create a real, interactive website. With HTML, I learned to structure my page with headings, images, and buttons. Using CSS, I styled everything โ adding colors, hover effects, and even a dark theme that makes the page look modern. The most exciting part was using JavaScript to bring the page to life: when I click the button, the background theme changes, and the โLearn Salsaโ button interacts with the user by asking their name and details. At first, I struggled with small mistakes like typos and selecting the right button, but fixing those helped me gain confidence in debugging and problem-solving. This project showed me that even as a beginner, I can already create something fun, interactive, and meaningful. Itโs proof that with just the basics of web development, you can build a working application that feels professional. Iโm really proud of how far Iโve come!

I have no prior experience in coding, and my profession specialises in a totally different field. I decided to enrol in this course to develop skills and gain knowledge in technology, which is becoming an important part of our everyday life. I want to prepare myself to take on tech-related opportunities that may arise in the future. I want to have career pathway options and secure my future. I just finished the SheCodes Basics, and I know that I have a long way to go. But this course has been fun and informative. I thoroughly enjoyed the activities, and working on my final project was fun and satisfying. This is just the beginning. I am looking forward learning more!
What I learned the most in this course is that 'default' and 'devault' may rhyme in German, but in JavaScript they rhyme with undefined (just kidding). Like Matt said at the end of SheCodes Plus, the project itself may look simple, but the journey it's a little bit more complicated than that. Along with SheCodes training, I watched support material, burned through all my hosting credits, which led me to a side quest through CloudFlare setup training + GitHub repo literacy. In the end, my little vanilla weather app not only works, it also gained much more confidence, each bug fixed, each feature added made the whole process feel more real.

This year I wanted a way to capture and share memories from an upcoming camp without relying on others for photos. That idea sparked something bigger. I thought, why not create an app where everyone can collect and share their pictures in a fun, interactive way? But the problem was, I didnโt know how to code. I could design on Canva, but building an app felt impossible, especially since I couldnโt afford to hire someone. So I started looking into web design programs and discovered SheCodes, and signed up. Now, Iโm close to finishing my app using everything Iโve learned. I love that SheCodes lets me work at my own pace but still keeps me accountable with project deadlines. In this course I learned so much about React. I learnt to create React components, to use the API responses and looping through them. It wasn't the easiest class but It is really worth.

Iโm proud of how far Iโve come and excited to keep going.
